Considering his young age, I don’t think 25 years with parole was enough punishment. In other words, to me, that wasn’t justice. He should have received the 50 years max with no parole.

the problem is not the sentence, the problem is actually catching enough of these scammers to be a deterrent. every multi-year sentence for a purely financial crime is pretty steep and deters. 25 years is more than enough for SBF. in switzerland he'd gotten 5, if even (not saying that is good either).

He will do the mandated 80% of his sentencing which is 20 years minus the time he’s already served. He’ll be released in about 18.5 years
