I know we've been told about curfews at previous concerts, but I think this was true because security were on stage, but Ritchie and others pulled people out of the audience and started dancing with them, so they were clearly not in a hurry to leave. I would describe it as a good concert although not groundbreaking, but you can't break new ground every night
This song makes my heart dance every time I hear it. This has got to be Ritchie's BEST solo ever. I can't watch this clip often enough. if it's ever taken down I will mourn it's loss like that of a loved one. I wish a DVD existed of it. Frankly, the enter concert. I have the CD of this concert but the sound is not that good.

I just saw him in Dunfermline Scotland on the 26th June and he never picked up the strat once in a 2h15min show.Great show though it was I have to say I was disappointed that we didn't get even a few minutes of the world greatest ever rock guitarist doing what he does better than anyone :(
I am 52. I have seen Ritchie play many many times. I love Blackmores Night. It is a great band. Unfortunately I had to leave early to catch a train back to Plymouth for work. I have seen Good and Bad shows.It was a good show. The performances were excellent. In my opinion the song choices were not. It is my opinion. I am probably Ritchies biggest fan. He is part of who I am. Probably because of this and not inspite of I am hoping for more from him.
HIs performace in Journeyman was something else. A different realm. I think many new Blackmores night fans don't appreciate Ritchie for who he is and what he means to people like me. I used to dress up and I like the idea of people dressing up but I see the same faces in the front rows at every single gig getting special treatment getting exstatic about songs like Renaissance Fayre and Home Again which have become boringly routine as are the Lady Ga Ga jokes,as are the cries for Smoke. .
Sorry to ear Ritchie didn't play his strat in Scotland. This Solo is Straospherickly Awesome. PLEASE Ritchie release an album of Strat played instrumentals like Carry on Jon,Weis Heim.Son of Aleric and maybe a new version of Catch The Rainbow,The Gypsy and Writing on the Wall for your Real Fans.,

They played all old stuff,same jokes etc. I walked out when Home Again came on,but he did play this and it was absolutely stunning. Not one new song in the first ninety minutes. I had hoped for more. The crowd were not very rock n roll,the usual faces making a fool of themselves down the front. A true Ritchie and Blackmores Night fan

Stunning night at Guildford and if you cannot understand that Ritchie plays what he damn well wants to these days you have sadly missed the point. If your too young to have seen him live in his Purple and Rainbow days then I am sorry for you. If not then you really need to move on with Ritchie and bide your time for the new material to appear when he feels like playing it live.
Ritchie devoted to real rock music, Candice Night, pathetic, but where local here and there we hear the phrase Deep Purple, the longing for true love betrayed. It's a real human drama and real rocker. Ritchie remove those ridiculous tights and go back where you belong in the rock scene for people who love your inspiring art. Surely you could have a lot to tell his guitar, rather than stifle their talent on this team that exists only thanks to your name Blackmore's Night ....
