Thank you so much for making these videos! They are coming at the perfect time as I enter my 3rd trimester with very similar illnesses. I feel the exact same way about that super delicate balance between exercise and rest!!

Sorry to be a creep, but I was curious and saw you ended up having a baby, congratulations! How has it been? I’m in a similar spot and thinking this maybe is something I can do after all, but it’s difficult not having anyone to talk to who is dealing with similar health stuff about it, haha! It’s scary enough without chronic illness, ah

@@emyemyemyyyy yes, thank you so much - I did a loooot of work to get to that point where I was ready and of course it’s hard (parenting is hard in general I would say) but I’m so happy and so fulfilled with him and I’m able to get through life’s challenges a LOT easier nowadays with the skills I’ve learnt when getting through chronic illness. So I would say put the work in (I recommend doing nervous system regulation with a qualified, experienced somatic experiencing practitioner) and you’ll know when you’re ready! You can do it of course - if I can, you absolutely can xxxx 🌈 Wishing you all the very best

Hi there. I’m just super terrified of the prospect of lack of sleep as it’s extremely important for me to be able to function somehow. (Chronic Lyme cfs pots) I wonder how are you coping with an infant? Maybe some insights or tips. What is working for you?

Check out this video where i talk about the postpartum period. I would also recommend looking into Taking Cara Babies (@takingcarababies on instagram) I didn't take her class but if i ever get pregnant again I willl 100% take her classes! She teaches how to help a baby sleep without crying when they are newborns. It was TOUGH but it gets better so quick. It's not easy but its worth it. I am a MESS without my sleep and don't do well with naps, i need 8 straight hours. But if i can do it... YOU CAN DO IT!!! :)

What are some of your healthy substitutes? I would love a healthy cookie dough that tastes great!

I would just pinterest "healthy cookie dough" haha! Some great alternatives have vanilla protein powder in them, also greek yogurt + honey + vanilla + peanut butter + a little salt and chocolate chips. So good!

Thanks for sharing this. I'm ttc number 2 with an almost 6 year old kid and my cfs increased after becoming a mum. Had a c section delivery so will be aiming for another. I also have pcos and I enjoyed watching this. Will you plan for another child in the future ?

Had the c section because she was breech and I refused the ecv thing they offered.
