I just bought this auger and trying it tomorrow morning. I've adapted it to a 20v drill. What I am most impressed about though is that you can talk in detail for 13 minutes and 26 seconds about a $50 auger. I might be able to talk 26 seconds about it. Thanks for the great review and detail.

I like to rant LOL I’d hate for someone to get a wrong impression on my thoughts of it and find something to be disappointed in. Thanks for watching 😎

Great review my friend. I oil my plastic parts maybe it doesn't make sense but I do and never has one broken or failed yet. Thank you my friend.

Just bought the 8" one and cannot wait to use. Only fish on small lakes so hope this cut through. Don't want to spent hundreds on gas auger, think it's over kill unless you fish big lakes.

They’re great if you’re in less than a foot of ice with sharp blades. If you get into super thick ice or get a burr in the blade, you’re gonna be cranking a while lol

@@devonwatt2194 I used the hand auger three times. Now on milwaukee with pistol bit. So much better since I have batteries from my other tool. Still have the cranking one in the car incase though.

Great video info....excellent coverage. The plummet top on the Mora augers pop out of the handle and damage easily just the same in my experience. The Mora blade guard also cracks with the cold just like your Eskimo. The newer augers sold today now have better and safer blade guards. The advent of electric hand drill augers now eliminates the plummet design problem (lol).

Right! Lol my next big ice fishing purchase is a K-drill. I have a good DeWalt and it would work perfectly.

I bought the 6 inch eskimo auger and was very disappointed. It cuts a hole like crap. Only did a few holes and gave up on it. I think the blades are out of line, and it's a lot of work to get one hole drilled. Went and bought a 6 inch Lazer strike master hand auger works much better. Didn't want to spend the extra money. But wasn't going to get any fishing done with the Eskimo. Now the Eskimo is retired. It had a short life.

Why no actual ice fishing videos? The ice in Michigan is about to be gone soon. About to head @ Mud Creek near Caseville soon lol.
