    Thanks a lot for sharing your journey. Very informative. Quick questions
    1- Do we need to be physically present in US to apply for GC?
    2- I am a Canadian Citizen and due to some commitments I was thinking to get L1A and come back to Canada and work from here as mine is Remote.
    3- Do you see any issues if I process GC till medical stage from
    Canada and move to US at that point and stay back until I get my GC. Thanks

    • @bahroz
      @bahroz  2 месяца назад

      Hi yes you can do it remotely like apply in usa and then wait for medical… once they call you for medical then you come back and stay in usa till the application gets processed…

    One question - was your green card application in EB1 category or EB 2? Asking because some of the requirements you are saying for L1 seem to be the same as EB1C.
    So in which situations would a company opt to bring an employee to US on L1 versus EB1C directly?

We received the work authorization quickly, all but myself have advanced parole papers and we are waiting for any movement to green card process. It has been one year since we submitted these papers.

    • @bahroz

      My country category was canada but let me also call out that conversion from L1A to green card doesn’t have a quota so it is not citizenship biased
