I saw this idea about 4-6 years ago when Cat Woods presented her lovely small Bible where she had already began her 'Bloom' Bible.

Yes, I did a version of a prayer Bible setup video on my other channel and I mentioned Sisterita Club and that I wasn’t sure who originated it or who to give credit to. And, a viewer commented that the concept of a prayer Bible has been around since at least the 80’s and it’s something missionaries would do. So, it’s been around a while. I think Sisterita Club is just what made it go viral. We shouldn’t ever be mean towards other Christians for having the courage to spread the gospel online and encourage reading of God ‘s word. Months ago when I searched for “war binder” your first video of how to create a prayer Bible popped up so I ordered the cards that you had used to start my own which is when I started following your channel. The sisterista (Sp) club videos did not show in my initial search. It wasn’t until I had already started the process of creating my prayer Bible that sisterista (Sp) club videos were shown on my YT account. It’s not right for people to add comments to your channel about who started what and when. Hopefully this video will stop people from doing that and just move on. Keep up the great work. God bless.

Ha. I also had the child training Bible cards, and set up a Bible for it! I have ours somewhere but never used it as much as I thought I would. But I am wanting to set up a prayer Bible.

The prayer Bible isn't Jessica's only idea. Yes it may have gone viral, but she didn't stat the whole concept.
Plus i believe jessica said she got the idea from an older lady at church who let her use her notes and decided to combine the 2 prayer bibles she had already set up so from the begining she admitted it wasnt her idea.

Your method is different and more organized. And the Sisterita lady wasn't the first to post on YT on how to set a prayer bible, anyway. I have seen way older videos about it from creators like Cat Woods.

I have the same issue. I posted something on a group and then a RUclipsr used my idea. I was doing it in my Facebook group occasionally. I looked for the post and commented on how awesome they were using my idea. Later they deleted my post on Facebook and RUclips. I firmly believe credit should be given where credit is due. I first saw you do it and mentioned it on her YT. I like both of your channels though , but in all this God gets the glory. Amen

I ordered those same child training charts because of you. This was back in like...Oct? I can look it up but I don't see the need. Lol... I think both concepts are great. I am thinking of having our preteens create these Bibles at my church using the charts you introduced us to. I will present it to the committee in the coming weeks. Thanks for that!

You both may have the same idea but the execution is very different. Sisterita’s is very colorful and unorganized while yours is neat and precise. I’m glad there are different versions because not everyone likes the same thing. Nothing against the Sisterita style but it gives me anxiety just to look at it and I know I wouldn’t use it. The Bible I’m setting up is more like yours with the tabs all aligned. Looking at your setup gives me a sense of calm.
I’m like that too. I can completely see why people like the other style because it’d be like hunting for treasures whereas I’m more on a specific mission. ☺️
Well you and Sisterita were not the first nor the last to use this method. And IMO, I don’t think it really matters who did what and when. All of those who did videos, do it differently and bring something special to the idea. I wouldn’t stress about it 😊 for someone like me, I will use an idea from each of you lol. I like both channels and have 2 very different prayer Bibles because of it. I love the fruit of the spirit verses and the prayer walk. We all need to he kind and remember why we have/use our Bibles. I'm not sure why my previous comment was deleted.

Sometimes RUclips filters comments out! It may depend on your settings. Ive heard that sometimes it can look like comments were deleted even when they weren't! So annoying! I love my prayer Bibles. I got the idea from the Sisterita club and my execution is closer to her's but it is not surprising that the idea has existed before. Glad to see many people engaging with praying the scriptures in different ways!

I love you both as a born again Christian I was looking for ways to read the bible and pray on RUclips I found your videos and many other creators that just helped so much... this idea is so inspiring and helpful... I gravitated towards Jessica's way because I'm an artist and crafter and it has been wonderful to combine the gift that God gave me as an artist and his word... wow... love it I really enjoy praying in my colorful mess of a bible that I take with me everywhere... Hello Katie, I always look forward to watching your channel because I like your ‘style’ of creating a prayer bible. It is neat, organized, and visually appealing to me! I am sad to hear someone thought you copied someone else style, though when I listened to that, the first thing that came to my mind was Ephesians 6:10-18! In this day and age, nothing is new or invented anymore. I learned this as a photographer. There are many ideas for doing something, and seeing the variety of ideas on RUclips is good. I have watched Jessica at Sisterita Club, but her style was not for me. It was too busy, and I felt disorganized with all the tabs; I need more structure, which I find in your style. You also dive deeper into bible study, which I find difficult to find videos on from this perspective. You are not a copycat, Katie. You are a fantastic lady passionate about the Lord, and you share your talents and pages with your viewers! Stay strong in the Lord, Blessings - LuAnn.

I watched yours and never thought you was copying her, I tried find what you used and couldn't so I did my own thing. There is people filming them copying her down to exact bible to same tabs and subject. I don't find you doing anything close. Your videos are wonderful

I believe it shouldn’t matter who created it, as long as you’re praying and being in God’s word. Also, everyone is different, and yet, have the same ideas, it’s just set up differently. That’s what I love about people thinking alike, but are different as well.

people you need to MYOB do you guys even realize how many people have different ways of doing a prayer Bible! This lady should not have had to explain one thing to anyone, especially since she had already explained where she got it from, and gave them credit!!! before you accuse someone of something check your facts first !!! it seems to me i heard something about prayer Bibles why back in the 1970s . the sisterita club are not the only ones to have prayer Bible ideas.

I think typically people were just curious… it was only one person who said I’d just “jumped on the bandwagon”.
But I have always heard if one person has a question, probably many more are thinking it… so I figured I’d just clarify it in case people were curious.
There in no "one way" to do this correctly. Everyone will have a different Bible , tabs, highlighters, pens, paper and other accessories. They also have different prayer requests.
More importantly we all have a unique relationship with God. He loves all of equally. Even so, we all have a different path.
If i was to put tabs in my Bible it would have to nake since to me. Personally, I do better with liststs and charts. Think soreadsheets. I may print out a blank spreadsheet and add information as needed. I can fold it and put it in the Bible.
It is easier for me to see what im looking at all laid out. Creating a blank document with a chart is easy. I can use pens and highlighters on the paper chart.
I just got this idea as I'm typing my comment. I will make it this week and see what happens.

Maybe some people will put off making a prayer, study or journal Bible in fear that they will do it the "wrong way ". I just wanted to encourage others to use their own creative methods.
My intention was to add that it's OK to do whatever. Your method works. It is interesting and efficient. I was enriched for watching.
It is probably easier than my method, but we all have to do whatever works to get us in the Bible. The Bible needs to be at the center and not get lost.
