Hello, I’m Brandi! I’m so glad that you stopped by! A little about me. I’m a Christian, wife, and Mom of two, and we have two dogs and a full-time business owner. Like many of you, I have a busy, crazy schedule and needed a digital planner that not only has space for that busy schedule but I also wanted space to add my quiet time with God. So, I sat down to create the perfect digital planner to incorporate all I needed. Then, I realized that if I wanted a planner that included all of this, maybe others would also enjoy this. So, I’m sharing these with you as well. I started this channel as I remember how confusing it was to begin digital planning. So my goal is to take away some of the confusion with digital planning by creating videos to help you.

With so many bibles you could designate one as you "car" bible. Let it live in the car and you are never without it -even on those rushed days when you forget things as you race out the door.

Just updated my details, in the enhanced package, for the update. As small as the font is in the compact bible, I'm still going to use it as its lightweight for my daily commute and used for prayers only. I've colour coded my flags in various shades of pink. I used vellum as tip-ins rather than craft paper which is thicker. Also used vellum as my pray tab guide too. Less bulk.

I have just started to do a prayer bible, and my daughter told me today she's not seen me so excited about things in a very long time. I have a prayer bible I am creating, and I have a bible study bible I am creating to use for bible study, and as a colour living creative it's lovely to be creative in my most precious books ... My bibles... so I enjoy watching folks on RUclips share their creative side in honouring our Lord! I am an older disciple of Jesus, but I have been so blessed to learn from you younger women of God. I am one of the most indecisive people on the planet and cannot decide which bible to dedicate to being a prayer bible!
I purchased a little NLT strictly for reading right before I ever heard about making a prayer bible, and I could use it but the tabs I think would be annoying as I try to read it when I'm not using it for prayer.
I purchased the brown version of the 2020 NASB bible, that you showed in this video, months ago that I was thinking of using for a prayer bible but I'm thinking it's going to be a bit heavy to carry with me lol. But I do like the font size in it, and I already use the 1995 version of the NASB as my main bible so I dunno. I also have a CSB that could be a contender as well. But I also love the teal leaf bible that was featured in the original sisterita's video! Lol!
I cannot decide. 🤦🤷

I use glasses from the dollar store for all my small print Bibles
I actually have to wear bifocals so that may be part of the problem Have a Blessed Day
Hiya Friend in Christ, I will tell you to use removeable tabs, and lightly highlight with crayola crayons because they are erasable. Also you can use a heat gun to remove the tabs. Be careful so u don’t rip if you didn’t keep it long enough to melt the glue on the page. You can use a bible journal style also for those who are home bound. Blessings

I’ve used prismacolor colored pencils for years. Lightly too. I also write in a reg pencil. I just don’t want any bleed through.
Funny, I have been going to different thrift shops to look for compact bible. Today found the trim line one like your pink one and though bigger, remembered you saying, “ use what you have”. Then see this video and you talk about using pink one. I also looking at more pastel and earthtone tabs and markers.

You could use your pink one as your purse Bible and then keep your bigger one in your prayer a corner. That way you’d have one always with you on the go and maybe the font size would be okay for that?? Just an idea! Thanks for all your videos on this and the resources!

I ordered a large print Bible when I first heard about the prayer Bible from Sisterita. As soon as I opened it I knew it was too small for me. Apparently, I have been using giant print and didn’t realize it. Lol. This happens sometimes.
Yes I have gotten confused on bible fonts way to many times. Didn't realize I now need a larger font.
Donate the pink Bible to a women's shelter.

If I ever do a prayer Bible, I think it would be a full size with wide margins for any notes for the verse (s) to pray. 😊
I like that idea as well! I just wanted something light weight. Going with the larger size slim line Bible this go around
I just purchased that teal bible today. I spent a half day yesterday going to the local thrift stores to look for good used bibles that would work, but I only found one. I wanted a couple of bibles so that I could create specific themes and was hoping to do that as economically as possible. I checked various online shops to get the best prices for new bibles and Amazon won in terms of pricing.

I got the I think it's 7 1/2 x 6 NLT large print - yes it's bigger than the compact size, but it's perfect for me with my eyes... and I'm not going to carry it around in my purse. I have a movement disorder that prohibits me from caring much. I really love the one that I have and it looks ( the outside of it ) looks very much like yours - the first one - Lovely pink floral inlay💕

Could you give maybe a few examples of scripture for each category? Some are obvious but the Daily Prayer I feel could be less specific as say finances

Personally, I'd use your bigger pink Bible for yoir daily reading. Then create your new Bible for a prayer/war Bible.
I've still been working on themes and picking the scriptures i want to use. After Jessica with Sisteritas I watched someone named Faith who has her tabs lined up by color. So, that being a little more organized helps me visually. Yours is a little more in thst direction. You're doing a great job in your journey & we all appreciate your sharing. Blessings to you 🙏! The biggest font Bibles I have come across are 16 pt but they are not compact size
@@OkKo-ux2xv yes I have a nkjv in 16 font which is my everyday read Bible. It's big in size yet still need magnification to read but alleluia am able to read. I wish some of the other nice bibles that are 8 font would print them at least 11-point.
Some of us that have visual challenges could use that.

I’m gonna be making my third prayer Bible. It has not arrived yet in the mail. Hopefully it will arrive by 2 October as time goes on and you use your prayer Bibles you will become so comfortable praying a lot of the topics in the prayers to the point to where you won’t necessarily feel the need that you have to keep your prayer Bible often than not when I went to Street ministries I was in depth just giving away my prayer Bible to someone who I may have prayed for who may have excepted Jesus, and realistically, they may not have access to a physical Bible or a cell phone, and in that moment, it’s just easier to say you know what here’s a Bible I never truly the overly decorate mine so all of mine were able to be given to both men and women. I’m hoping that this third one that I’m going to meet and I will be doing a process video or at least a walk-through video on my other channel, however I say either do a giveaway or pass it down to someone who otherwise may not even be able to receive a Bible. A giveaway is also a good idea because there are people who truly just cannot afford to even make one at all.❤❤❤❤ I’m glad you’re remaking yours to fit your needs❤❤❤❤

So should we not just do this with the bible we currently use? Like we should have a separate prayer bible?
Hello! You can use the Bible you have. The main reason is if you use your Bible already as a study Bible it maybe marked up already and it would be confusing. Also if you have a large Bible and want to carry it with you put it would be bulky. But do what works for you
I used a hair dryer to loosen the tabs before I got them off.

Don't take your tabs off tab the top
That was a thought. I ended up taking the tabs off and I don’t even notice where the tabs were

I had the same issue with my small bible, I have another I think I'll use it, a 5x7 the NLT compact giant print bible. It's a 10 point font. Yet still compact.

I bought an ESV compact Bible but the font was too small, so I ordered a “large print” NKJV compact one with larger font. Since it had a coupon attached I got it cheaper than the original price, so I hope to start mine tomorrow when it comes. Thank you so much for these videos.

I've not done one of these. I have multiple bibles, one for church notes & study, one for studying for my sunday school class (with the weekly lessons put in the front incase i lose track), and one for my personal "bible project" notes. I started a bible transcription at the beginning of this year and have really been enjoying slowly reading and writing out the verses; I haven't been as consistant as I would like but it is so fun and I've noticed things as I go I've never seen/thought about before.

You can absolutely remove the tabs with minimal damage. Just use a heat gun!❤❤ I just removed all of them from a Bible that I've had for years.

I just got that same NASB Bible this last week! Same-my compact Bibles have a font size too small for my eyes nowadays. I'm going to give those away. I got some slightly larger Bibles to make prayer Bibles for my two great-nephews.

Yes, I've done several with different topics. A good idea to keep the smaller one in the car. I agree with the smaller fonts and I got large print ones and different types.

Why do you not like the tabs?
It wasn’t the tabs themselves. I really like them. It was the way that the bottom all of the tabs were close in color so it was a little hard to figure out which tab it was. Not as easy some of the other parts of the tabbing. I hope that helps explaining Have a Blessed Day
@@threenailfaithwhat about the comment you made about wanting to cut the tabs off your other Bible? I have a Bible I absolutely love and wanted to put tabs on it so I can flip quickly when my pastor is referencing something in another book, but I’m weighing the pros and cons.
@@amandalovesmusic oh I miss understood which tabs you were talking about. The book tabs will make it harder to see the tabs for the prayer topics. I guess you could leave them on I just wanted a clean slate to really focus on the topics. This is not the Bible I take to church. This is just for praying I don’t study or anything else with this Bible. I have separation bibles for those times. I hope this makes sense. Sorry that I miss understood before
You could put your prayer tabs on the top of your larger Bible
