Balance works for me great. Especially lately. Every time I eat some pizza I always have a salad or some vegetables to go with it. My favorite is zucchini. Zucchini & pizza is a great combination. A couple of slices keeps me full for the whole night.
I celebrate "micro-decisions" every day, relating to food and eating, and I make a game of it, like I'm an Olympic athlete of micro-decisions. I didn't beat myself up because I ate a bit more at lunch: micro-decision. I took a deep breath and made a U-turn out of the kitchen when I felt that compulsion to eat come up: micro-decision. I really enjoyed my Saturday treat (pastry, once a week.); Micro-decision. I sat with the uncomfortable sensation of hunger for 10 minutes, breathing deeply: micro-decision. (tomorrow I'lll try 11 minutes) I'm getting good at it, and I'm finding my emotional eating habit dissolving with this game. I feel amazing, I've lost all the weight, and am now I'm learning maintenance. Thank you Brix....
When you abandon your routine for a moment, the environment you are used to, and experience being and doing completely different things for a few hours, you simply forget to eat, no matter how out of control your last week has been. This is the clearest demonstration of emotional power over our eating decisions. Bring your life as a whole back on track, rescue your human life, and your eating routine will follow it.
Fasting is also extremely effective for very natural, healthy and progressive weight loss. And the best part, paradoxically I realized that it is much easier to adapt to fasting, in the long term, than to adapt to any type of diet no matter how less restrictive it may be. Fasting teaches you (read about fasting and parasites) and gives us the impression that the human body and psyche is much better adapted to deal with it than to deal with restrictions on types of food, for example. It's like if our body understands that fasting is necessary for him (and it is!), unlike any food restriction. Believe me, the effects are surprising
Being able to experience the sensations of hunger has been huge for me. Not to fear the sensation or freak out about it. i have a spiritual practice too, so deep breathing, fasting, and meditation flow right into it. It's powerful.
I was born with cerebral palsy & my weight has been going up & down like an elevator throughout my entire life. My biggest problem is finding the best way to maintain keeping the weight off because for whatever reason I always seem to gain the weight I've lost back. Any suggestions, Brix???
I think restrictive diets work for me. If I have something I shouldn't to balance things out it makes it hard to stop. Learning to live with hunger. It's not as bad after you get used to it after a week. It was even easier for me because I was down when I started and didn't even really want to eat. In a way I skipped some of the early struggle and it was just about not breaking my streak which I'm good at. I agree with the video just think I'm the exception because of how I am.
I restrict myself to sugar, treats, once a week, Saturdays, and that works for me. I also only eat my favourite bread on Saturday and Sundays, the rest of the week I eat Ezekiel breads. This works for me. I have developed self-control. I do look forward to the times when I have these things though, but I also love the feeling of keeping a tight ship during the week.

I just got back from my doctor's appointment. I've lost 12 lbs. Thanks for all of your great advice, Brix. I really appreciate you, bro.
Wow! Great work bro! congratulations!

that's a beautiful comment

@@lauren4434 Nice. I didn't directly mention the spiritual part involved, but the issue of parasites is directly linked to it. It's biblical.
Wow, that’s interesting and helpful. I can see how this is true.
You had me at Fruity Pebbles 😂
😂😂😂
Diets are the worse. I lost over a 100 lbs on a diet. The moment I stopped dieting I gained majority of the weight right back.
That's what's killing ME the, ALL OR NOTHING ATTITUDE ‼️
I emotionally eat 🫣🫣🫣 or 5 pizza’s and garlic knots 😅
