You've seen many challenges on RUclips, but have you ever seen anyone dare to eat the world’s stinkiest fish?
Well, Brooklyn and I did just that with Rebecca, her husband Matt Slays and KamriNoel! (They were here visiting our family earlier this month. We had a lot of fun, and filmed a collab for both of our channels!) We challenge Karina Garcia, Collins Key, Merrell Twins, The Bratayley's and Jacy and Kacy to take the World's Stinkiest Fish Challenge!
For the challenge we had to survive SMELLING and EATING the stinkiest fish in the world, Surstromming! You guys, it was SO nasty! The rules of the challenge are that you must survive the smell of the fish and eat it (keeping it in your mouth for at least 5 seconds)…ALL WITHOUT THROWING UP!
We discovered the fish through a viral video in which a family opened up the can and immediately started gagging and barfing! The fish is SO stinky. Vikings were only able to fish for a couple of months, so they would fish and then put the fish in a lactic acid concoction to ferment and preserve it. The lactic acid makes the fish extremely stinky, overwhelmingly salty and practically inedible!
The World’s World's Stinkiest Fish Challenge can be so nasty but so funny! This challenge is the perfect prank for girls, for boys, for teens, for teens, for the family, it is even funny to play on friends, boyfriend, or girlfriend.

Haha i've worked at oskars, the company that sells the fish. But that's not the right kind, it's supposed to be fishes with no head (this was 1 year ago) Then you eat it with onions, potatoes and sour cream! I actually like it! Haha but i don't eat it anymore because it harms the animals

It's so awesome that you want to try a Swedish national dish but I'm sorry to say, you're doing it wrong! No swede eat it like that, then it's horrible :P The right way to open and eat it is to open the can outside and then let it sit severely hours for the worst smell to get away. Then you should have a party outside, eat it on hard bread with potatoes, sour cream and some even have apple sauce on the bread as well. And you don't eat big amounts, only a small piece on the bread! :))
True, but the whole point of the "challenge" is to do it wrong. But as a swede these things are hilarious to watch though I personally hate fish and avoid any fish whenever I can. Still, I eat this crap if invited elsewhere and it is the only food available; one has to respect the host in that case.

According to some other people who did this challenge, the fish that Brooklyn and Bailey ate was actually rotten. It is supposed to be like sardines not grey mush.

I'm swedish and I like the fish. But you can't just eat the fish! That's not how you do it! You put a bit of fish on dry bread with egg and caviar. And we always open it under water to get rid of the smell...

Im from Sweden and people eat it here somtimes. But you eat it on a special bread with potatoes, tomatos with a sauce etc. Then the fish tastes like a bit of salt. When u put it on the bread you only eat the fillets. Also when u open it you hold it under water so the smell dissapear. And the fishes in your container is not the way they are supposed to look. The are supposed look like small fishes.
