Hey naz I’ve had braces for a year now, and just wanted to tell u that u can basically eat anything with braces, I eat all my normal food and I eat heaps of lollies and chips and chocolate and I have never broken a bracket

same i ate literally everything and just anything super sugar i would brush 20 minutes after and my orthodontist said my teeth were the cleanest she has ever seen and had no idea about all the sugary hard things i was eating

Naz trust me braces does NOT mean you can’t eat anything. I have braces and the first couple of weeks I had them I was crying in pain and could only eat ice cream. But after that they didn’t hurt and I still eat everything I ate when I didn’t have braces.
It does get better after the first couple weeks and you will be able to eat normal!!
Sometimes it’s good to be careful but like I still eat gum and popcorn. But I suppose it’s different for everyone and how there braces feel but that’s my opinion!! ❤❤
1st day of braces are always painful, but tightening is worse 😞

Naz you should get light pink or blue, I have braces and I always get pink or blue and it doesn’t look like gum or bits in my teeth, you honestly look so great with braces, u suit them so well and it makes ur lips bigger, it’s ok to eat snacks like months after, I eat popcorn but do not eat the kernels thing it’ll make u break a bracket.

I had braces, and I was allowed to drink fizzy drinks and eat chocolates and cookies, so I’m confused why naz can’t. When I got my braces off I had perfectly white teeth aswell.

dont get whitwning toothpaste, because after your braces are off, thrr will be a stain around where the brackets were!! also when i had braces, i still ate relatively hard foods, i just ate it slowly and carefully (broke it up) and rinsed my mouth with water after everything i ate/drink.

the day after i got my braces, we had a giant party at our house and there was a buffet (there was like 20+ different like container thingies with the food inside that they have at buffets) AND LITERALLY COULDN’T EAT ANY OF IT I WAS SO ANNOYEDDDDD, but the party was really fun at least🙁🙁

Hey naz, when l got my braces on it hurt a lot and l felt like when l ate my braces would fall off. But just letting you know in a week or so, you will be fine and half the time l forget l have them on so all of the legends are here for you. You look amazing with braces❤️
As someone who has braces:
1. Cold foods really help because the wire is activated by the heat in your mouth, so eating ice cream, drinking ice cold water, and pretty much anything cold will help!
2. It’s only sore for the first few days, but it gets better (promise), and also when you get them adjusted it is a little sore, but you’ll be okay!
3. Please don’t chew on suckers (lollipops”), because I’ve broken 2 brackets doing that 😭😭😭😭😭

idk if you already but after i get my teeth tightened my dentist gives me the rubber thing that the rubber bands for braces were attached to and advised i chew on it cause it'll make it hurt less- also, dentist told me it's better not to use an electric toothbrush (i can't remember why tho lol). my dentist also recommended tooth mouse (i got GC tooth mousse plus vanilla flavoured)

Naz, i got braces 3 weeks ago, the things you wont wanna eat/ u cant it is,corn on the cob, biting into an apple or anything sticky. After a while they wont be painful just bring some wax with u

hi nazzzyy! i actually got my braces this month as well! i agree they where so painful at the start but they feel way better now. i just ate a lot of jelly and occasionally sucked on some chocolate 😅😅 i now love to eat pasta 🍝 i’m happy that i got braces at the same time as you because it’s like we are doing it together!❤❤❤

Advice with braces FOR ANYONE:
1) Don't use whitening toothpaste it leaves a stain when you get your braces off.
2) It fine to eat popcorn and lollies just be careful and mind full of not eating extremely hard lollies, So gummy snakes are perfectly fine.
3) For putting on the wax if you notice it falls off easily use a paper towel or toilet paper to dry the spot you want to place the wax because the area needs to be dry to stick better.

naz just saying u shouldn't eat tooooo much lollies but u def can (ik ur nor suppose to but i do and nothing has gone wrong) and while u probs cant eat slightly harder foods (cookies) just yet because of the pain you can definitely have them later!
Your foundation is too dark and yellow toned.
Also, after the first week the pain will be pretty much gone and you can eat anything as long as it isn't too chewy/sticky (like fruit rollups, minties etc.). Things like an apple can be cut up into smaller pieces and eaten that way. Just make sure you rinse your mouth after every meal.
