Let me start by saying - this video will have absolutely no educational value whatsoever - so please do watch something else if you're looking for value-add! Here's my first ever Q&A video, pretty rambly and super honest. Hope you find it entertaining or interesting in some small way!
To be honest I was very hesitant to do a Q&A, but it was the last video assignment as part of the Part-Time RUclipsr Academy Course which I was determined to finish. I actually found this really challenging (and awkward) to film, as I never quite know how to give concise answers to personal questions, so there are a lot of cuts where I remove my pauses etc. - apologies if this makes it hard to follow along! 😅 If you have any questions for me for a potential future Q&A, please comment them below or follow me on Instagram/Twitter (links below) where I will be asking for future questions (if I ever convince myself to do a Q&A again 😬😂).

I'm a 65 year old American and I've been teaching myself Mandarin off and on for the past few years. I became discouraged because I had no one to practice with so I forgot most of what I had learned, which wasn't much. Over the past 2 weeks I've been motivated to continue my learning, thanks to you. I completely relate with you on Mandarin. I’m half-Taiwanese but was never taught Chinese as a child. I feel that loss and still regret that I never really got to talk to my grandmother in her native language before she passed away. Trying harder to learn now so I can connect to and preserver my heritage.

Great channel, definitely a hidden gem on youtube.
You look a lot like Jessica Henwick, who's starring in the last Matrix movie that just came out. I guess that's what being half Asian does, but still, it's almost uncanny ! The 2 of you could easily pass as siblings.
So here is a question for when you eventually do a Ask me anything 2 : How has life affected you as a half asian growing up in the UK, ingood and bad ways (you could list a few notable examples).
Case in point : I'm myself a man of Taiwanese origins, but grew up in Belgium, and while it wasn't certainly nearly as bad as, say, somewhere in the middle of the US, there was definitely some instances of racism (mostly happening in school when I was in mid and high school, luckily I went to an art school in college, and that was alredy super diverse, so I didn't have to worry about that by then) that I didn't quite perceived as such when I was younger, but after going to live in Taiwan for more than a decade, and really experiencing what it is to be part of the majority instead of being apart of a minority, there are so many things I retrospectively figured out when I came back to Belgium. So I was wondering what's your experience on it.

I'm INFJ, every time I take it. I'm trying now to find my test type from high school (16 years ago) to see if it was still the same! My "F" is the weakest though, also consistently; I'd say that personality-wise, I'm 2/3 INFJ, 1/3 INTJ. I'm also learning Mandarin, as well as Dutch (doing PhD in Groningen) as well as Waray when I have the time, plus Norwegian for fun (easier than Dutch). But I'm really not an organised person... I kind of face-palm watching your videos, I wish I was also goal-focused, disciplined and well-organised like you!

Definitely an Isfj, I don't know how you got Entj. I can clearly see the Si dominance
She seems to be a lot more experienced in terms of age so it's likely her lower tier functions are being used, including Si and Te. Make it what you will but her most prominent way of expressing information is Ne, she's likely a Ne dom. For example, she often will make introduce a concept or object and then follow it up with a different but connecting concept or object but because that second follow up contained information that connected to the first introduction she will revisit that and connect the two: Ne pattern-connection. Both ENFP and ENTP have strong Te, it's just more consciously used in ENFPs, and with how subjective Ti and Fi is, it's safe to assume she's probably either one of the two, but I'm guessing an ENFP that has become more comfortable with Si and is reaping the rewards of Te.

Lived on earl street right off Christ pieces 2000 while stationed at raf lakenheath and went to addenbrookes for rounds with the urologist there including bill turner who I think is still the chair. I just came across your video thnx to my 5 years long British pronunciation training process on Utube. It has been quite useful for me language wise, but by and by I was getting fed up by the intellectual inferiority of these "teachers" because of which almost anything they could speak about became basically disinteresting (sometimes even repulsing) for me and I began to feel at a loss, how to go on with my studies, how to find spoken RP material that I can also be genuinely interested in, like the somewhat shady compression properties of carbon fiber causing this Titan debacle, just to give you an idea.
And now, out of the blue, there comes some light at the end of the tunnel. Let's hope the best. 🙂
