You are beautiful yourself and it was such a pleasure to have you onboard and putting faith in us to work together for the next 11 months. See you soon and keep course. Much love from all of us.
I just love how much passion you pour into your coaching... really making a difference in peoples' lives. You were born for this.. Thank you for sharing the stories of these beautiful people looking to find more of what they love in their life. Also I admire the one-on-one time you give to Benjamin... practicing what you preach!!
What a wonderful message, thank you! Practice what you preach indeed.... that's what we do and doing this makes our life complete, we really feel this is our destiny. Much love from all of us for you and the family.
What did we learn today? 1. the Black Pearl is actually Navy Blue, 2. you should always buy drones in packs of 10, 3. you must trust Ben-G's tender operation, it's a known fact that you go hard throttle until on plane before backing off to a comfortable cruise, 4. that you certainly did pick a beautiful area of the world to establish your basecamp. Enjoy the journey, drone shots would have been a big plus!!!
Love it, agree, agree, agree, agree and yes Benjamin knows by nature how to handle the tender. We managed to get another drone so we are on track again.
I vote for the Monohull, there’s something about being “in” the water as opposed to “on” the water, that makes me feel safe… your boat is especially nice when compared with most of the other monohulls because it’s got more room EVERYWHERE!
Absolutely, totally agree, Gerben here, I believe the Perfect Sense is hard to beat, in love with the lines and the space is beyond, yes, we don't have a trampoline and a big space on the same level as the cockpit.
Team monohull of course. Big three, Joining scouts as a lad, learning to appreciate and understand the out doors, be self reliant. Working as an Adventure guide, continuing the same but adding planning, being reliable and responsible to others, learning to read them. Retirement from guiding, learning to deal with the fact that I'm not seen as great, impressive or important to others and excepting that's ok.... Sort of🏴☠️
There are waterproof drones that can land and take off from the water. Even look down into the water. They are often used by Surfers and fishermen for searching ..placing lines and bait and even catching smaller fish from the air. Take a look at the Gannett but there are others.. best pick one that can crash into the water and take off or be recovered if control is lost. Corrosion X makes products that protect even complex electronics and batteries against immersion in salt water . The larger fishing drones have a bait release hook ..useful in an emergency😎
Was a nice vlog again and a nice crew real sailing. Reminds me of when I was on board with you. Long for it back but be happy with the live images. Enjoy every time I see Benjamin so happy. Regards 💋👊
Research floating drones. Probably the best option to save you lots of cash. Swellpro is popular brand of these types. Also dyi mount pontoons on drones. Separate gps puck and AirTag. Homing beacon, floater. Lots of saving gadgets a users can equip.
Thanks... Swellpro is indeed popular but also very big... we love the Mavic Mini but the problem is indeed salt water and fact it's having problems with strong winds.
@@FeeltheBreeze true, but as said, there’s a lot of alternatives that has options to what you need. I’ve also been looking at the mini version. It’s an investment as well, and the evolution is progressing on drones. Maybe we’ll discuss it more, if we come across each other in the future as co-sailors. Since we’re leaving Sweden by sailboat to the med in approx 13-15 days. Keep it up, still love your episodes. Fair winds
It was a beautiful experience Feel the Breeze family. And Jennifer for a meat lover as I’m you changed my world. Hope to see you all soon. Thanks for documenting this experience.

Many of the high tech yachts have anti-drone shields for privacy and protection. Invisible electronic fence (ef) uses (Signal ramming tech) that keeps drones away from the yacht. If your drone hits the (ef) It will crash. Also, not wise to get to close to the mega yacht unless you like automatic weapons and video camera's pointed at you. Typically, the owner's of these mega-yachts are shady characters. They have enemy's. Best to admire from a distance to avoid mistaken identity.
Yes, thanks for sharing, we know ;) But.... we fly the drone next to the Black Pearl already many times and no problem at all, this time it was more about the wind we guess.
@@FeeltheBreeze. Interesting observation.. I imagine past flights near the mega yacht were without incident as the (ef) was not activated. I double dare you to fly your next drone near the pirate ship - Black Pearl.
Three things that impacted my life and why. Was that the question? #1, Growing up with a very loving family, (mom. dad. sister). Let me experience love and affection in a safe and open minded way. #2, Spend my life as an artist. Painting, drawing, writing, (poetry and stories), and music, (performing musical artists in rock bands). #3, Learned to see the world outside of myself, through myself, in various spiritual universes. Does that help? PS Enjoyed you video today. Peace and love. Stay groovy and stay safe.
Yes, that's the question and thank you for sharing all your experiences and insights, much appreciated. Sounds like you have had multiple beautiful journey's, very curious about the ones in various spiritual universes and your experience with it, if you want to share we would love to know.
Hj pela manhã revi o vídeo do Bejimin no hospital, filho no hospital é sinônimo de tristeza….porém já recuperado e saudável…!!!! Saúde a bordo para vcs.
Board toilets....fijn om te hebben maar... They always act up when you least need it. We have a bottle of cooking oil in each toilet. every 2-3 flushes we put a little bit of oil in the water....that works. keeps the friction low. and that results in far less built up, our 3 year old can pump, its that easy. And now we only clean the hose (hammering it on the hard) ones every 1-2 yrs.
I know just a little about RC planes. Is it possible to put styrofoam and or a parachute on drone? Some radios have "landgear" switch. It can be used as a parachute release switch it is simply a servo. I thing styrofoam would be a simpler idea. lol at least it can be recovered.🙂
Very interesting way of thinking, in this case it we were so flabbergasted to see the drone dive into the sea within two seconds after releasing it. The problem is the saltwater we guess.
Do not get a composting toilet unless you want to be a chambermaid . They smell and are disgusting I spent 2 grand . I shouldve just bought new marine toilets and everything else it takes to make it all function.. They are good on the hard working on the boat out of the water for along time . Two cents from captain chambermaid
Thanks Brian for sharing your experiences... Rianne found ones designed and made by sailors but let's try them first on land before we change everything onboard.
Dear Gerben and Rianne as I heard in your video you will be in Greece soon. If your way brings you in Nafplio visit “Sourlouloudia” a shop for handmade toys. Just tell my name to Yianna, the owner of the shop, and she will give you one present for Benjamin and one for the baby who is coming soon. I love your style of life. Keep going...
Love your videos and have been following your ‘journey’ for several years. Montenegro is a wonderful little country with charming and friendly people but, as someone else has already posted, be wary of doing business there, for two reasons. 1. A huge amount of corrupt Russian money has poured in and powerful Russian business interests exercise a dark hold over the levers of power there; not immediately apparent and masked by the sun and glamour of places like Porto Montenegro but there all the same. 2. The local banks and tax authorities still operate as if it were still a Communist state; not unusual to find that the taxman has raided your bank account and removed tax they claim you owe and getting it back is tortuous perhaps impossible. Do not expect the same business rules or outlook to apply as you would find in the Netherlands!
Hi Tim, thanks for following our journey and we are well aware about the business ethics over here, for sure not the same business rules as in the Netherlands. In my entrepreneurial life I did a lot of business in many countries and figured out there are dark spaces everywhere, even in the Netherlands although showcased in a different way. We made a very conscious decision after a lot of research. we will keep you updated regarding the pros and cons after a few years.
Great work guys. I love seeing you guys doing your thing. On a side note, as beautiful it is, I hope you realise that the Black Pearl is formerly owned by Oleg Burlakov (who died of Covid in 2021), a fascist Russian Oligarch and supporter of the dictator Vladimir Putin. We should avoid celebrating those who have obtained their wealth through corruption and the murder of others. I don’t know who owns the yacht now but all reports it is still owned by his family/estate who are known to actively support the genocide in Ukraine with his companies being used as weapons in the energy crisis gripping Europe.
Thanks Hugo for the nice compliment, as Dutch sailors we are very proud of this piece of engineering and we are aware of the previous owner, to be honest. We believe the old system is just not working anymore and don't want to join destructive forces, we consider ourselves as a constructive force. The old system is collapsing and we decided not to be part of it and focus on the positive new way of living, without borders and governments.
