- Hey, in today’s video, we will discuss the Hocus Pocus 3 Teaser Trailer. After waiting 29 years for a sequel to the first film released in 1993, there is speculation that Disney may spoil us with two rapid-fire Hocus Pocus sequels.

Actually Winnie did NOT sacrifice Sarah & Mary for power. She didn't read the fine print on the warning Book tried to get her to read. She immediately gave up the power begging to be reunited with her sisters.
yes thank you! and she didn't really willingly sacrifice herself either. she asked for them to be reunited and the only way to do that (she learned as it was happening) was sending her back to the other side with them.

I really want more of the backstory. Those kids that played the young Sanderson sisters were wonderful and the best part of the movie imo.

I totally agree!!!! They were amazing little actresses!!! Played their parts perfectly, especially their individual face expressions!!! I just watched it just about an hour ago, and was very pleased with this sequel! And can't forget Mother Witch! I was thinking she would've made another appearance... maybe in part 3! Also, let's say Bravo for the music! B52s song was in there, if u didn't catch it! AND LOVE their spell dance song from Blondie!!! omg!!! I been listening to a lot of 80s including Joan Jett & Pat Benatar!!! and of course mixed it up w Kate Bush!!! thanX to Stranger Things Season 4 bringing Kate Bush back in time !! basically...and introducing her to a younger audience! love it! So, yes ... One Way Or Another was an amazing choice !!! 80s female singers being introduced back in movies and tv shows is exciting news! ty for reading my reply!

I totally enjoyed the intro with them as kids !!! great little actresses!!! oh and btw, I was chilling while the end credits was running, and to let you know, THERES A SECRET ENDING Y'ALL!!!! If you didn't know, u know now!!! Definitely letting us know there will be a 3rd Hocus Pocus!

I honestly feel that they fumbled the ball with Hocus pocus 2. They should've made it a prequel where we see the Sisters growing up through the years and see what made them who the were. All the while we would have the 3 of them giving us a funny narrative. See how they started off as sweet young witches but as the years went on and they got older and realized that if they didn't use children to make their youth potion then they would die. Then the movie ends where they began in the first one with them looking old and haggard, well because they don't look so young these days anyway. I think that would've made a much greater movie. THEN they could come back for a 3rd movie. Just my opinion.

I watched the 2nd. I thought it was okay. I dunno bout a 3rd. Maybe a prequel one that tells more of the backstory of when the witches were kids and how they grown to be witches. I thought the actors that played the young witches were cute!
I wasn't to crazy about Hocus Pocus 2 I wish they could have used more of the original cast they could have brought Danny Max and Allison back but they didn't.

@@marissaboyer9521 Paused it there as well - also The sisters didn't come back from 1693 in the sequel, that was the first one. They came back from 1993 - And Winnie didn't willingly trade her sisters- she had no idea what would happen

I also think if Mother Witch is there,they’ll actually be truly dangerous in a way they weren’t before. But then again,it’s unclear how deep her cruelty goes. Yes,she tried to suck out young Sarah’s life force,but when asked about her coven,she seemed genuinely sad to have lost them,maybe she even learned the hard way about the magica maxima and regretted what it had cost her. Either way it seems like she does have some heart,if only where other witches are concerned. To me,she seemed less evil and more just tired of witches being persecuted.
I agree I kinda just assumed the mother witch did the magic maxima when she said her coven was gone.

I hope there is a Hocus Pocus 3. They could bring back the original kids, Mother Witch, the Sandersons, Billy, and Becca and her coven to fight an even greater evil that threatens Salem. The Sandersons could bring back the fourth sister with them. The bullies could be a teacher and the Principal and actually protect the students of the school.

If you read the book of Hocus Pocus 2, there is a fourth Sanderson sister that is a white witch and healer. I would love to play her.
Although I liked Billy, I would like to see another character, the Sanderson sister, did something to while growing up. The Mayor and Billy couldn't have been the only ones. After all, she was 16 when she received the book. Certainly, it was several years after she learned her powers, when they sucked the life out of Emily and turned Zachery Binx into a cat. They could have flown all over the world. It is hard to imagine how much chaos they could cause.
The only part of the second movie that really sucks, it's when the Sanderson sisters were singing in front of the public and were hypnotizing the people for going after the mayor. In the first movie, this part was more spontaneus, Winnie was leading the introduction meanwhile her sisters were outstanding, then they followed her with the laughs and the approbation of the public
Starting off with saying that I enjoyed the movie and plan to watch it again - but I agree that there were several fanservice sections in the movie, including that one. There were several areas that felt forced. As if the directors made a list of things they wanted to include and then just found a way to shoehorn it in. The "who are they performing for?" section felt the same.
Nah, imo at least the enchanting it was good as the original version, It had lots of harmony between the dances.

I want a third movie. Already watched HP2 twice.
If they do a 3rd one. I need darker one that returns more to the original movie. The new one was good. But I missed then darkness that the first one brought.

Unpopular opinion, I think they could have done a much better job with HP2 than they did. Loved that they touched on the sisters as teens but they went a direction I didn't expect or care much for. The original is way better! This sequel should have been more related to the first movie than it was. I wanted to see Max and Allison and their kids in this movie and Dani and her kid/s too.
If they are going to make a part three they should have it where the Sanderson sisters come back but as good witches to help the girls defeat the witch that turns into a raven

Exactly. Terminator 2 this franchise. Winnifred even seemed to have her "come to the light" realization as she was being reunited with her sisters. The movie should start with a prologue showing the mother witch in conflict with the Sanderson sisters' parents and cursing them somehow and that becomes why the girls were bad seeds to begin with. Jump ahead to, say, 2025 and the witch mother hatches her own plan since the Sanderson sisters failed 3 times. (Twice in HP 1 and once in HP 2.) The new three find a spell in Book that was the original curse and learn it can be undone by reviving the sisters to face the witch mother with the current generation witch and now you have a far more compelling reason for a 3rd film than a reskin of the first 2. And I believe the clues in HP 2 point to that.

First #2 is not for doing well in cinemas as it was only released on Disney +,second while the original Sanderson witches did great at reviving the characters #2 didn’t even come close to how good #1 was. In my opinion the only way Disney could make a decent and worthy number 3 is by doing a prequel with the 3 girls that played the young Sanderson sisters in #2 because they were fantastic. Also Kenny Ortega if he is willing should produce it. Going forward by not going back to the beginning would be lame and a huge mistake.
Great video thanks for making it. We love, love, love Hocus Pocus and would be delighted if a Hocus Pocus 3 comes out. I thought there would be a possibility for another one to come because of the line said by mother witch at the beginning. "one day, Salem will belong to us.” When I heard that I said to myself, "ooo are they hinting to a third!" It was great to learn that Gilbert had multiple black flamed candles. We are so happy for the success of the show. Great actresses, actors, and writing. Love the following the movie gets too.

Dani said in an interview that she wanted to do it but she had other stuff going on and it was already filming by the time she wanted to do it

I did love the new one but I gotta stick with the original. I still remember exactly where I was when I saw the first one. It was and still is my favorite family friendly Halloween movie.
I have a theory as to why Winifred was suddenly so sentimental and soft hearted after she lost her sister's.
It's said that the Magica Maxima will grant incredible power, but at the cost of what is most precious to the caster. We saw what it cost Winifred, her sisters and her Book.
But what if it also cost her her wickedness? What if she valued being an evil witch so much that the spell stripped that away from her as well, making her all sentimental and even kind?
I think they should put that in the third movie. What if that happened to the other two sisters as well? They could bring everyone back to fight an even greater evil that is threatening Salem. They could even bring back Binx and his sister.

I feel like I should say that Winnifred didn't actually read the warning of the power spell, Magicus maximus, and hadn't known that what she valued most would disappear. Therefore, she had not willingly sacrificed her sisters, it was simply the result of refusing to read the warning.
No hate towards the speaker, just trying to make sure nobody ends up getting the wrong information if they hadn't watched the movie yet.
She also didn't exactly willlingly give up her life. She pleaded for a solution, book answered, and Becca gave Winnifred book's gift to her. She had not known that she'd be sent to her sisters instead of her sisters coming back. However, she accepted it anyway.
Id love to see a movie about when they where younger in Salem I thought that was amazing way to start the movie

The only way we can increase the watching ratings and love ratings of Hocus Pocus 2 and just any movie in general that fans desire to have a continouation of is to extend the watching options. Not just stream! There's gotta be theaters, DVD, blu-ray and all those options. If Disney would do that with Hocus Pocus 2 then yes, they will get a budget, probably even beyond the desired budget for a third movie. But nope, they prefer stream instead.
With as big as this film is I was irritated with the lack of effort that was put into part 2. With the amount of money, special effects and fan base the movie has it should of had better quality production and a theater release. It's sad that part two ended up cheaper and lower quality than a 90's made movie.

I'm not going to lie but I think the Sanderson Sister is going to have a happy ending in Hocus Pocus 3. The story can be that somebody in Salem is a direct descendant of the Sanderson Sister. One of the biggest shock is that Sarah Sanderson was the one who had a child. And it turn the fan out that she gave her child up because he felt that her child will be in danger if they find out her child was a witch. Not only that you will find out that Billy is the father of Sarah baby.
I do believe Max, Allison and Dani will return with Man and Allison daughter Poppy.
Winifred might be very angry about Billy and Sarah child. Maybe even kill that child.

The 1st one was WAY BETTER!!!!!!!! Also, Sarah J Parker’s makeup needs to tone down around her eyes. What’s with the total Black Eyebrows. The makeup artist was off from first Hocus Pocus
Not sure what the guy narrating is going on about, the 2nd movie was disappointing. Anyone I spoke to that saw it felt the same. I absolutely loved the first one and I was really expecting to feel the same about the 2nd. Sarah, Bette and Katy are all brilliant actors and still played their characters very well, but that was it.

I watched Hocus Pocus 2. I thought it would be 💩 as many of my friends said it was but I thought I'd watch it and to my surprise I thought it was really good. I hope they do a 3rd one but don't leave it as long this time 😅

I was amazed that they looked and acted almost exactly the same as the original. I loved the movie and thought it was fantastic! If I had to say something, I didn't think the singing part when they came back really worked with the scene. But other than that, this is a Halloween treasure for me that will make me feel young everytime I see it 😁
Hocus pocus 2 was better than the horrible star wars with rey and kylo sequels were they killed the whole solo and Skywalker eine i prefer the lucas books

Hocus Pocus 3 still hasn't been officially confirmed by Disney, but if the success of Hocus Pocus 2 is anything to go by, it could well happen.
I saw this in the theatre during its release when everybody crapped on it. I wish everybody would just please stop overthinking it and pay more attention to what Bette Midler is doing with her face to play a campy villain She's a stage performer who's used to arenas. She's used to playing to the back row. Her schtick may seem bigger than life but she's the last of the geniuses at that. Broadway recently learned after her Tony Award in Hello Dolly that we are all going to be singing her praises and slinging snot when she leaves this world.

I read several online comments when Hocus Pocus 2 out and I was astounded how racist so many of the comments were. Too many people were furious that there were African American actors in the movie! That offended their sensibilities, I guess. I checked at the time and about 7% of Salem residents in 2022 were Black or African American. Even if there were no African American residents in Salem, the idea that African American actors should not be in the movie is patently ridiculous. I do not have Disney + so I have watched parts of the movie and based on what I saw, all the actors did a great job. I hope that in time, a DVD is available or I break down and buy Disney + in October.
There's the thing that confuses me about Hocus Pocus 2; the bits of details about the Sisters before their hag-hood that were hinted at through half of the first film got thrown out the window except the "supposed" love triangle between Winnie, Sarah, and Billy Butcherson : Their biological mother was a witch and the devil (The True Satan) gave them the spellbook ; not some lone witch stranger they met in the woods.
Give it a break Disney. Hocus Pocus, the original, is all we need.
I have 2"Hocus Pocus 2" theories; The Devil might've been the Mother witch in the woods who used the book to take power from his brothers or "Sisters" as he clamed; the lying old devil as he/she was or the devil was never the devil to begin with; or maybe it was Lilith that had started all that trouble in Salem and the Devil just took credit from her as Mother-Witch-In-The-Woods.
There probably won't be a 3rd one with how Disney is destroying themselves
