Merry Christmas everyone. I feel the Lord’s presence more than ever this holiday season, although things are difficult with my parents splitting and so on. I am filled with a peace and joy. I can’t believe I get to worship God everyday and have a personal relationship with Him! I am amazed at Him coming to earth. Praise the Lord
Man this Christmas feels so different. I have never realised Christ and the Father more than ever this season and I most certainly feel the difficulties of just starting out as a young adult (I'm 20). But the more I read and pray, the more the fear goes away. The fear of the future, fear of not having work, fear of failure. After all, it was Christ who spoke to the people who had to work from dawn till dusk just to get some food on the table "do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow shall take care of itself." etc. Trusting God has been incredibly difficult just because of how often we are pressured to do everything ourselves (this is especially present in university). But I will continue to build my relationship with Him. Less time scrolling and worrying, more time praying, reading the word and realising and understanding God and His wonderful character: trusting in Him with everything in my life, even jobs, grades, relationships and tomorrow.
