@@Newbie_hiblitz Superstars is by far the best one yet, but honestly I don't think SMP's too bad. If we get a sequel, however, I do have a few ideas on how to make the experience feel a bit more akin to the classic style. - The standard Dice Block now rolls from 0-7, and character dice are reworked to suit this change. The additional dice that allies roll now have the numbers 0, 0, 0, 1, 1, 1, 2, and 2. - Every player starts the game with one ally, like in MP3's Duel Mode. Assuming the players themselves are called Captains, the first allies are known as First Officers and cannot leave the team by any means. - Players with fewer allies have higher chances of receiving or being able to buy Duel Gloves and Ally Phones through Item Spaces and shops, and in the latter case, are sold at lower prices. Allies can be wagered in Duel and Battle Minigames, which return.
+Love Train You can do stable netplay through the AQZ Netplay plugin on Project 64. It works great with the first three Mario Parties, so I'd imagine that it'd work well with this as well.
I Love This Tool. It’s Insane What You Can Make Using The Tool And It’s Nice That You Can Make Boards For All 3 Mario Party Titles On The N64. I Highly Recommend This Tool. 100/10
Thanks to much for making this and posting a version we can try out! Funny, I keep seeing people mention the idea of a mini game editor, when that would be so complicated it would probably never happen. If it's possible, you should add more NPC events like Thwomp on the bridge or Goomba with his seeds, but they would probably have to go in the advanced or debug features. Do you think it would be possible to add existing events in the game to the "?" spaces, such as the boulder in Dk's Jungle Adventure, or the hot pipes that launch you to another space in Luigi's Engine Room, or does each board map have specific events coded into them, meaning that isn't possible? One thing I'd like to see is a "?" event that causes your character to move to a separate route, rather than having the choice of two when you're passing them. Also, for boards that don't lap and go from one area to another, the warp pipes from Luigi's Engine Room could be used. I know this is easier said than done, and these are only ideas of mine. If they don't get implimented, I don't care. The fact that you made a working level editor for one of the best N64 series ever is enough, and I am very thankful. Take your time, and keep up the good work!
Will there be custom events, based on the events used on Mario Party 1-3? And will there be customizable text for people to describe the board they created? How about more custom events for the space properties to fool people to think the space functions like the actual spaces, but it makes you do something else (like a Mushroom Function for a Bowser Space)? How about we choose what type of ending suits the level (or what outfit suits Toad in MP2 style boards)? Maybe the inclusion of return to start animations?
Mario Party 1 and 2 custom boards works great on Everdrive, but 3 custom boards crash after the presentation of the board, why?, Is the Partyplanner 64 focused on running the games on emulators and not on real hardware?, I whould be so sad If this is true!, I've already made 20 MP1 Custom boards, 12 MP2 Custom boards, but only 9 MP3 custom boards with all have crashed in the presentation of the board when i try to run it in my Everdrive 64 Plus!, Please solve this ploblem!
Wow I think this is so well correctly named man nice job (the rom hacking software that is called Party Planner 64 since you're "planning a party" I should say lol).
I made a board on that website then got project64 2.3 but i cant put my board in the thing because the website saves it as a z64 file and not a n64 file. What do I do?
I've been hoping that someone would mod this game for years. Really excited to see more of your work! On the subject of maps from this game, have you managed to get the tutorial map playable/replaceable? It'd make a good extra slot to use for maps, if nothing else.
+Krookodile Tutorial is pretty hard coded, but you could just recreate the same thing with its assets. As an extra board slot it would not be very large (I have to work in the memory constraints of the original boards for now).
Does not work. If i choose a Mario Party 1 .zip Rom, it says "Invalid Rom". It is an U.S.A. Rom but it says "File not recognized as any valid rom". This makes no sense! Can someone help me from which website i should download the Rom? Wowroms and Emulator.Games dont work.
Question: After reviewing all your videos, I need to know: what happens at the end of the board? Where the cinematic is supposed to play? What goes on there?
Alright. There are three places I'd like like you to make boards of. They are Green Hill from Sonic, the Gateway Galaxy from Super Mario Galaxy, and a remake of Toad's Midway Madness from Mario Party 4.
all chance times & bowser spaces
every 5 spaces Koopa banks
2 stars per round.
let's make hell.
I can't tell you how long I've been waiting for something like this! THIS IS AMAZING, keep up the fantastic work!!
Question. What controller do you use for party planner
This shall be the greatest rom hacking tool in the history of ever. It will be 100 times more enjoyable than the ND Cube Mario Party's. Super excited.
Super Mario Party and Mario Party Superstars: You were saying?
@@themightygallium9509 super sucked imo but superstars is better lol

Very nice. The minigames are the meat and potatoes of Mario Parties, though, but it'll be fun to play on some new boards as well.
HOLY CRAP... That's amazing. You just made my favorite N64 multiplayer game ENDLESS.
Well done!
If only Nintendo bothered making Mario Party 10 like this, instead of making it into the bland and stripped down version of the once great series.
@Benjamin Tanner Ugh, not the truth again...
Wow, this looks amazing!!
Hopefully the next step to MP N64 modding will be character importing/adding extra character slots. ^_^
+Nintega Dario Im really hoping we'll eventually have a way to add new mini games as well. Id love to have one big Ultimate Mario Party.
lol you are all adding gigantic steps though
llmjd
it would be cool of course, but if we talk about coding such editor, no thanks lol
Maybe a script editor,so we could add cut features or new ones to the game!
Does this have net play?
If it does then get ready for WWIII to happen
+Love Train You can do stable netplay through the AQZ Netplay plugin on Project 64. It works great with the first three Mario Parties, so I'd imagine that it'd work well with this as well.
Woah, my childhood dream is finally coming true. Making your own Mario Party board. Thanks a lot for making this.
Can't wait to make a gammadion cross map just like I've dreamed as a kid.

A pack containing other MP game maps brought down to the style of MP1 (like the custom MP4 map already made) would be awesome.
This is pretty sick, I cant wait until this comes out
All chance time
Zange FUUUUUUUUUUU
if every space was chance time, then all coins you would collect would have to be stolen from other players
AKA *chaos*

More custom boards for luigi players to afk on.
XDDDDD
hey yo this looks extremely cool. thank you for working on this I think alot of people appreciate it ;D
This is one of the greatest things ever.
Wow. Hope it finishes soon.
This is very awesome! Can't wait for it to be released!
bowser space only map plz
I hope this is released before 2017

I need this in my life
Super duper blooper awesome! I really can't wait at all for this! Do you know if the green ? spaces will be able to do anything? Love it, keep it up!
THIS IS THE BEST THING EVER OMFG!!
This looks fantastic!
Is there a feature for adding custom music as well or are they all tracks from MP1?
Any MP2/3 compatibility in conception?
PartyPlanner64
Very cool. I would me greatly interested in both, but please take your time, you're doing something pretty based as is!
I know that the engines for Mario Party 1-3 are similar. Would it be eventually be possible to port minigames from one entry to another?
Wow I think this is so well correctly named man nice job (the rom hacking software that is called Party Planner 64 since you're "planning a party" I should say lol).
youre doing gods work
i dont care if i can only do 1 board I WANT THIS PROGRAM!!!
I love party planner 64😁
I know You said it's going to be web-based, but I think there should be a downloadable version for offline, for people who have horrible wifi like me.
My question is how Happening Spaces would work.
they don't do anything but help youu with the happing star
I made a board on that website then got project64 2.3 but i cant put my board in the thing because the website saves it as a z64 file and not a n64 file. What do I do?
Looks interesting
HELP! the editor won't load it just goes straight to a purple screen without any of the tools showing up
I attempted to make DK’s Stone Statue and Whomp’s Domino Ruins
This is awesome
really wish there was a way to share a board by link because mine is the best evar :(

This looks like my wet dream.
Maybe I can finally play MP2 boards on MP3. Or does it exist already?
Is there a tutorial or written guide for doing custom Events?
I know I'm late but will all of this be console compatible and if not is that planned in the future?
Will you come back?
Can it work on Wii U Mario party 2
Good shit. Any plans to support Mario party 2 and 3?
YES
Does this work with MP 3 or 2? If no, are you planning on making a version that works with them?
I really love those games!

You need to extract the .ZIP file, and the .Z64 inside is what you have to load
PartyPlannerWii?
Question: After reviewing all your videos, I need to know: what happens at the end of the board? Where the cinematic is supposed to play? What goes on there?
Cool added on android devices
PartyPlannerGameCube?
you said coming soon it's august
Sadly all the videos showing custom boards aren't avaible anymore.
Do you work on PartyPlanner64, that we can use Custom Musics to for the game, or are you done with this?
Are you going to release a build this year?
Comment faire ca?
Are these playable in a online multiplayer like Netplay?
quick question, what emulator works best to run these roms? i've tried project64 and 1964 but neither of them work. :/
hola yo no hablo bien ingles pero me funsiono!
MMM... Hi? i no from inglish pero me funciono!!!! :D
Why are the others custom boards videos on private?
Will this support Mario Party 2 and 3?
Is this compatible with not64/ wii64?
PartyPlannerWiiU?
yes yes yes yes yes yes yes
+pokemon pals and its for mac :)
+pokemon pals Web-based actually, so no install required.
+PartyPlanner64 even better I can't wait also Maybe you can have spotlight for amazing boards that catch your eye
it takes too long to overwrite the file.
is it a glitch?
What valid ROMS are there?
How do you made this video
Is it possible to use this with Wii 64? (My guess is no)
If Wii 64 can run the normal games, and has the ability to run N64 games with 8MB RAM, the produced ROMs should work.
how do you load I put my rom and it wouldent load
Yeah Mine won't load, I click start and it goes to a black screen
Mine does, I used not64 tho
y u make vid private
Do you take requests?
+markdpane I can't draw so I would take very well prepared requests perhaps.
Alright. There are three places I'd like like you to make boards of. They are Green Hill from Sonic, the Gateway Galaxy from Super Mario Galaxy, and a remake of Toad's Midway Madness from Mario Party 4.
TEST
www.mediafire.com/file/25u0zakw3d2vq55/MyMarioParty1_%281%29.z64
Any chance of this being compatible with Mario Party 2 as well?
