Not gonna lie, Peter's reaction was the most heartbreaking aside from Ian's obviously.
Hysterical Wolf yeah, but some of the drama is sapped out of the situation by Ian saying, “she’s gone”.
Tell him she’s DEAD for fuck sake! “gone” could mean left the square. Gone abroad. Gone bloody SHOPPING? 🙄

Meh. Remember when they brought in Max Bowden to be the new Ben and everyone thought he would suck because he's not Harry Reid? Or when they brought Clay Millner-Russell in to be the new Bobby and everyone thought he would suck because he's not Elliot Carrington? Both proved everyone wrong. Its crazy watching theses scenes now knowing that Cindy was watching Ian as he went over to the pub, and also knowing that she heard Peter's screams as she was being told she couldn't go back to Spain to George and the girls-very chilling. The way this was edited in with Cindy's parts was so well done!

In grief, Peter moved away from Walford and gained mutant powers, before going back in time and became Roger Taylor.
Man they really did the scene justice with the cinematography. Those long lingering shots following him to The Vic. The way they frame it so everyone is looking at them. The reflection from the puddle outside. They didn't need to do any of that, but it helped to add weight.
The top notch acting from Ian and Peter there. I remember watching this in 2014 and thinking, pure class!

It was incredible the way they incorporated this in today's flashback episode. Seeing Cindy watching Ian, Fatboy at the car and the sound of Peter's horrifying scream. Well done EastEnders!
I remember watching Bohemian Rhapsody thinking "The actor playing Roger is so cute!!" Little did I know it was Ben Hardy!
This scene is one the top 5 best performances and most heart breaking scenes in Eastenders this scene still moves me now

Wow, I didn't even watch this storyline. I stopped watching Eastenders in 2010. I'm just watching clips and this still brought tears to my eyes. Superb acting.

How many years have the Carters been filling our screens with rubbish? I never liked the Lucy storyline but Peter's acting was Electric and brought more than a tear in my eye.
