@@bp6329 OK, well I had Googled the actor and I saw that Derek Martin who played Charlie is still alive. He's in his late 80's they said. Google him yourself if you want. That actor played a brief part in Only Fools and Horses, he shouts "its Trotter, he's drunk again!", when Del boy comes home drunk late at night singing and wakes them all in Nelson Mandela House in Pekham. Then again one has to be careful and not always trust as gospel what one reads on Google as my tutor here in college in Dublin tells me.

Dear God, Charlie was such a Pillar of strength to his Family. Finding out his Brother Harry "Sexually Assaulted" his Daughter and a Baby came from it, not to mention Little Mo going to Prison, and that was the tip of the Iceburg. He put up with so much from his Family, and he was always so forgiving.

Saddest part is that his last thoughts would have been how he failed as a father. Failed Kat, Failed Little Mo. He should have been the one to protect his girls from those monsters and he didn't.
They chose to kill off a Charlie as a springboard into an awful story line for Kat. They specifically brought him back into the soap to do it. Should have been its own story.
I constantly worry about losing my parents when I’m older. In the nicest way possible, I hope my life gets cut short because I don’t want to see the day someone tells me that my parents are gone…
These paramedics did not even bloody try and why can’t they just give him a electric shock and help his heart restart itself and taking him to the ambulance and take him to hospital
By the end, Charlie was in asystolic cardiac arrest, which does not respond to defibrillation. The only things that work in cases like that is CPR and cardiac medications, which can stimulate the heart to beat or to go into a rhythm that can be shocked. I do agree that they should have taken him to the hospital to get advanced life support, though he’d stopped breathing a few minutes prior to the medics’ arrival and most likely didn’t have a pulse for that time either.
I'm sorry I know this is a really sad scene but ever since I stopped watching this depressing show years ago, I just see all the bad acting and it's really cringe 🙄
