Love it! I’ve been using the same Nite-Ize Microlock steel S-Biner for about 11 years now and it has been a fantastic solution. Cheap, durable (11 years EDC is no joke), easy to lock/unlock, small, and I like that I can have my car key on one side and house key, airtag, and small o-light keychain flashlight on the other side. With two sides, my muscle memory is dialed in so my key is facing the right way every time I grab it without the need to look. I also take my house key off frequently to go on runs and it works seamlessly.
Fun hack with the Orbitkey Clip v2: you can slide the black sleeve off of the carabiner and attach the magnetic parts to any key clip in a bag. I added it to my Modern Dayfarer backpack - boom, magnetic key solution.
😍 awesome hack! Am I to understand that you can easily take off the carabiner? I’m thinking of buying this, but unfortunately the user reviews online are pretty horrible, too many people saying that the carabiner breaks after only a few months :(. If the carabiner comes off easily, I’d also want to hook up the magnet to my Modern dayfarer backpack!
@@jf_youtubin Yeah it's super easy - slides right off. I haven't used the carabiner since I got it, but the magnetic part has been a great pack add-on!
@@Nomads.Nation Definitely check it out even for your own interest, having seen many of your vids I think you'll like it 😊 I find it functional especially for switching between cars, don't have to have multiple sets of house keys just take them from one car fob to another because you can buy the "cap" part separately.
Best key organizer: Anvil Hide Key Organizer. Has amazing build quality (full grain veg tan leather and 100% brass accents). Its minimal, handmade has a simple mechanism to hold keys and holds about 7 keys and will last forever. Its like a classier version of the Jibbon IMO.
The Keyport Pivot 2.0 is hands down better than any of the key organizers in this video. And you can register it, so that if it is lost, whoever finds it can scan the 2d barcode, and locate the owner to return it, and get a monetary reward from the company upon successful return.
I don’t hype up things too much can always find the negative in anything 😂😂 just got the orbitkey v2 - my only negative is sometimes the locking/unlocking mechanism isn’t the smoothest. Can be a little awkward to have it in just the right place yeah as you said I’m getting better at it - pros? It’s simply a keyring but just a pleasure to use. I know it’s just a keyring 😂 but it saves your nails from trying to squeeze keys on/off, it’s quite aesthetic (again for a keyring) it’s simply a total upgrade on a regular ass nail murdering keyring. @@Nomads.Nation it’s only expensive for a keyring - it’s only a small amount of money. I just got the orbit key organiser thing the leather thing - holt shit. It’s a decent design - it will be too bulky for me with keys in it then a car key and a car alarm so I will give it to my mum - unlocking it though? Just took me 20 minutes to unlock it. Murder. Trying to use a small key - overall it’s a good design good idea for some people - but the unlocking mechanism needs Massive improvements in my opinion. Needs to be able to be unlocked differently and certainly without the need for a coin.

Good review. But no Keyport? In my opinion, Keyport beats all of these. It is literally what you want it to be, since it is 100% modular. Only drawback is it can get very expensive quickly, depending on the modules and inserts you add.
All of these Ridge type organizers only hold smaller keys. Most newer keys we use, are bigger and more secure, and just can't fit inside. Basically every key organizer made holds these thin, small keys and look really good. But try to use other keys and it's complete failure. And I'd never use anything that holds with magnets. Maybe inside a back-bag, so if keys fall, they still stay inside
Thanks for your guide! I almost bought the Jibbon, but thanks to you I realized that it wouldn't fit my Mul-T-Lock home key (ruclips.net/video/_Pw9L1u4xt8/видео.html). Do any of the other key organizers fit those kinds of keys? Do you know if the Bellroy Key Case does? Thanks
