    Looks like your house construction is finished. I'd love to see how that turned out.
    Racks galore on your bananas.
    The blooming Bolivian sunflower looked great. It's hard to chop them when they're covered in flowers.
    I never considered canna lilly for biomass. They freeze back up here, so I'm not sure they'd grow sufficiently to chop and drop and recover enough to still bloom before winter.
    Seems like it's been a while since your last vid. Hope you've been enjoying life.

    Hi, thank you for this video. I am originally from Thailand. My husband and I are interested to learn about your farm and would like to have an update on your house construction. We are an early stage in the development of our property in Orlando. Thanks!

    Is there any reason why you should not shred your biomass before laying?

    I liked that galangal (is that how you write jt?) plant. Do tou think it works well swampy areas, but dry climate?

    • @WhatsRipening
      @WhatsRipening  4 года назад +1

      I think so. As long as it's actively growing it handles wet soil. If it was colder season, it may stop growing and rot like other ginger and turmeric

      Arrowroot is a really good one for wet site too. Makes a great starch flour

      What's Ripening? Cool. Yeah, i have arrow root, but it’s not nearly as vigorous as that galangal plant.
      Thees also Hedychium coronarium, which we call swamp lily here in brazil. Do you know it?

    • @WhatsRipening
      @WhatsRipening  4 года назад

      @@AgroforestryAcademy I don't have that one here but we do have similar swamp lily. Seems like our wild blackberry grows well in wet sites too, I might try growing improved types at my place
