her biggest failing move is that she couldnt secure a loyal final 3 alliance that wouldve taken her to the end like Danielle Reyes or Andy (assuming Spencer was loyal) would. Like she didnt have much options sadly. She couldnt take the twins as theyd take each other, she couldnt take Austin who's take his gf so the best she could with the highest odds of winning was Steve but unfortunately he was better in part 3 which sadly caused her to be evicted. She might have better odds if its the twins if it came down to the final HoH but strategically, it was way riskier whereas with Steve, he had done enough work on her to convince her that he is more likely to take her than if she went with Austin or the twins. Maybe if she got Austin's gf out and did enough work on Austin to take her over the twin sister he's not even dating, it couldve worked. Sadly theres only so much you can do with those cards and most of the options she had were very risky and too uncertain. Her best bet at her pov was def risking it with Steve
She definitely didn't play a flawless game. She repeatedly had trouble forming connections with people and her part in any alliance was shaky at best. She was good at comps and the strategic side, but she failed at the social game.

I can honesty think of a THEORETICAL conceptual reason why it wouldn't be good to win the 5th HoH, but it hasn't played out much. Namely, in most seasons, that's either the week before jury or just generally the idea of jury is looming. And so the ripples you make during the 5th HoH can make you an easy target to send out because it's an easy excuse for why you're being put on the jury or being cut before the jury as the case may be. I know it'd be novel, but as I've commented before, if you went over the Week 3 HOHs of BBCAN, that's be a blindside of a video with TONS of content for why that week is the most iconic of any BBCAN season. Last time I commented this, I hadn't included BBCAN12, but with that one having the HOH backdoor the very person who *saved* them with the veto the Week prior, only for said HOH to go home the very next week...yeah that's a continuation of that week being cursed too.
It sounds fun and maybe down the road if I run out of weeks to cover in BBUS - we need a BBCAN channel though because that would flourish with so much good content
I feel like the Brendan and Lawon battle to get back into the house was rigged. This is when I knew Big Brother production did things behind the scenes.
This season’s Week 5 HOH has literally made himself an enemy out of the ENTIRE house. He better start winning veto at this point because the second the next HOH targets him and he doesn’t win Veto and AI arena he’s GONE! But watch his allies start taking the bullets when he starts surviving.
Hey Ethanimale, this is a totally random video idea but it's something I noticed about some Big Brother seasons and was wondering how much of a trend it is. In some seasons, there is like an early First or Big Alliance that gets a lot of buzz. And then it inevitably crumbles. But then in the end, one of those original members comes back and wins. I first kinda noticed it happen with Dr. Will after ChillTown and Drew after the Four Horsemen. And there are later examples like Jackson and Grateful. Wondering how common it is for the First Big Alliance people to end up winning (even if the alliance fails). Of course there are counter examples like Steve who were outsiders in the first house alignment. Was just thinking about it since The Collective broke up this week. Just a random idea, dunno if there is something there.
Not only did Tucker fall victim to the 5th HOH Curse, he fell victim to two other curses. The First To Enter Curse and the Hide & Go Veto Curse. He should be added to the first group of cursed 5th HOH houseguests.
It really felt like *someone* in production was salty that someone they liked either didn't win or was about to be eliminated so went out of their way to ensure they gotwhat they wanted by any means necessary. Chima dousing that bridge in gasoline and igniting it as hard as she did feels practically tame as a response honestly.
I Think the biggest issue for the 5th of HoH is that most cases, this is the first week in which alliances are for the most part completely set and is the first time where usually there isn’t a clear house target.
Yeah. Too overpowered. Especially since the winner of the coup d'etat power usually ends up safe the following week, as well, because they're still eligible to compete for the HoH unlike the outgoing HoH. And usually either they win the next HoH or their #1 ally does.

McKenzie or Tucker’s girlfriend going home I don’t know her name and I don’t care!
In other words, nearly half the week 5 HoH's ended up committing self-sabatoge during their HoH reign, another bunch were in situations where there were simply no winning moves to be made (mostly because of jury composition), and a few were simply unlucky. Sounds about right.
As happy as I am that Taylor won BB24, part of me does wonder what could have been had Michael not won that week 5 HOH! I don’t fault Michael for winning the HOH since he needed to beat Daniel at a point where it seemed like nobody else could, but he did not need to win the veto. I like to think that if Michael opted not to win that HOH, he would never have needed to go on the comp streak that he went on, and I imagine he has a much better chance of comping out at the end! Just an unfortunate series of events despite a great outcome for the season!
You should do a video about the psychology of the order of voting in evictions it’s obvious they order it to up the drama and suspense I wonder the implications for the houseguests and if it tips them off to any uncertainty? 😮
Michael got evicted because of a malfunction during the veto comp (he also missed out on beating the record because of it). Id say thats pretty cursed.
Week 4 is the week to throw the balance of the game off if you don’t want to let the current head pack steam roll. And the fallout of the week is ALWAYS disastrous
After Cedric’s extended interview, can you maybe do a top heartfelt posy interview video? Some are just boring like Matt and Kenny, but some are very touching, like Judd, or wild, like Jeff
All you had to say was Aaryn won the 5th HOH and I believe you - WE were cursed with her winning so many comps and also not just straight up being removed from the game. Forever feel so terrible for Candice
So tucker won hoh last week and I thought, oh nice, someone as wild as him can break the curse and he still win comps so he's probably gonna be safe in the next week... And then he offer himself to be put on the block as a pawn, AGAIN. And I'm like, nope, the curse still stand. Hope he at least survives the week, tho.

He should be added to the first group of cursed 5th HOH houseguests.
spoilers
the curse continues in BB26 because Tucker just got evicted the second I'm writing this
They screwed Chima over BIGTIME! She is the ONLY HOH to this day who has been screwed over to this extent.
OMG AND IT HAPPENED AGAIN
That coup d’etat power is naasssssty 😭
Yeah. Too overpowered. Especially since the winner of the coup d'etat power usually ends up safe the following week, as well, because they're still eligible to compete for the HoH unlike the outgoing HoH. And usually either they win the next HoH or their #1 ally does.
I’m so happy Tucker won 😂
i got on only to see ethanimale posted less then 15 seconds ago
I absolutely NEED Kalia to come back for another season
All she did was sleep and eat.
@@GeorgeEugeneBarrettwell ur racist so obviously ur not gonna want a black woman back
@@GeorgeEugeneBarrettSHE FLIPPED THAT HOUSE AND TRADED HOHS WITH DANI???? She did so much for the newbies + Dark hair dani in that house!!!! And if it wasn’t for the GAME ENDING Pandora’s box then Kalias allys would have made it very far
@@Dj-bt4yp she easily goes to final 3 or even final 2 if the Pandora's Box doesn't go Jochel's way
To be fair... BB13 is just cursed in general... by production, I guarentee, if production just stayed out of it, BB13 would be solid midtier and not near the bottom.
Edit: And Paul had it coming, he was a bully.
Your video on the 3rd HOH still holds true!
You think Cedric is winning? Cedric is hopefully going home tonight.
@@lastdayonearthmysteryman4849 No, but I think he could go far or at least shape how the game plays out
@@giovanniorellana2200 I don’t know. He just comes off as too stupid to play a good game. I know why he nominated McKenzie but he was so vague with Tucker. He should’ve told Tucker I’m not putting Quinn on the block. I’m putting him McKenzie on the block! I’m hoping he goes home tonight, but I highly doubt it! McKenzie or Tucker’s girlfriend going home I don’t know her name and I don’t care!
This aged like milk
@@eliasmg9144 Yes it did!
I think Danni maybe beats Zach in a F2 but definitely beats Amber who was literally having withdrawals from crystal meth in the house
tucker abt to break first to enter and fifth hoh curse 🙏🙏
Don't win competitions early and stay low key and try to be everyone's friend.
Coming to watch this after Tucker is evicted 😢
In other words, nearly half the week 5 HoH's ended up committing self-sabatoge during their HoH reign, another bunch were in situations where there were simply no winning moves to be made (mostly because of jury composition), and a few were simply unlucky. Sounds about right.
you forgot to mention that Brendon wanted to nominate Britney during his HOH and production didnt let him
Good luck Tucker you gonna need it
As happy as I am that Taylor won BB24, part of me does wonder what could have been had Michael not won that week 5 HOH!
AAAAAAND the curse continues
TUCKER IS BREAKING THE WEEK 5 HOH CURSE
Not a snowflakes chance in hell lol
I can't wait for Tucker to break the curse
Quinn’s shoutout on the feeds!!!
Wake up babe, new ethanimale vid just dropped
You should do a video about the psychology of the order of voting in evictions it’s obvious they order it to up the drama and suspense I wonder the implications for the houseguests and if it tips them off to any uncertainty? 😮
Paul winning 2nd and 5th HOH then losing like that??? Yeah, definitely cursed.
Michael got evicted because of a malfunction during the veto comp (he also missed out on beating the record because of it). Id say thats pretty cursed.
Tonight somebody loses the game!
This video just showed me how much producers can really screw over some people
Week 4 is the week to throw the balance of the game off if you don’t want to let the current head pack steam roll. And the fallout of the week is ALWAYS disastrous
when Tucker wins and destroys the first in curse, 5th HoH curse and Quinn's mental state >>>>>>>
unfortunately wont happen because Queen Angela will win
After Cedric’s extended interview, can you maybe do a top heartfelt posy interview video? Some are just boring like Matt and Kenny, but some are very touching, like Judd, or wild, like Jeff
All you had to say was Aaryn won the 5th HOH and I believe you - WE were cursed with her winning so many comps and also not just straight up being removed from the game. Forever feel so terrible for Candice
SARAH BETH MENTIONED 💯💯💯🗣️🗣️🗣️
YES! Michael's iconic exit!
Lol
