So many terrain crafters ramble and repeat themselves needlessly in their videos, I really appreciate the thoughtfulness you take in making your videos!
Once I saw the thumbnail, I could hardly curb my enthusiasm. You've really paved the way for beautiful city, street, and town square tiles here. Having done so, I think you've managed to cement yourself as a name in this RPG crafting game. 😉
I think if you apply pva glue to the opposite side of the foam after the air dry clay dries it may straighten back out. Works for thinner foam and cardboard
As this hobby grows, genuine innovation is becoming rarer and rater, but you seem to deliver in almost every video. Once again I am taking away some great ideas and inspiration, thanks for pushing the boundaries of the craft.
This is incredibly generous of you to say! You're right about the hobby space becoming saturated with ideas, so I'm happy to hear my contributions still provide value. 😊
Alright Raechel, I really dig those swift cuts. Especially that pen rolling cut in the beginning. It was really cool, yet so subtle. Really good job as always
Just stumbled acroas your this video in a rare case of the algorithm actually working and it's great! The stuff you make is fantastic, but the videos themselves are genuinely really well put together which is super refreshing
I've had others ask about using the system for sci-fi builds as well, so it might be something I tackle in the future too--There's really nothing like figuring out your own spin on some solid systems!
Genius...I love the out of the box thinking. May give this a go with some Hirst Arts pieces. Thanks for the video and keep them coming. Love your channel. And the humor...LOL Cheers!!
Yes absolutely! I'm happy when my out-of-the-box thinking inspires others to do the same 😊 Thank you for the kind feedback! It's very encouraging haha.
The effort you put into editing and puns is absolutely incredible! This seems a little out of my league, but maybe it won't seem so bad once I finish some more terrain builds. 💖
Thank you so much! It's definitely more technical and dips into different materials, but for sure after some practice and confidence, it's fun to branch out to see how you can expand your craft!
With polyclay, make long sausages and fold it over and over. This will make it more maluable and should make it less sticky, while saving your hands :3
I love your videos so much, realizing that you were making the initial tiles as stamps made me gasp out loud! So excited to give this a try sometime, I have been meaning all year to make city tiles and I might just be ready 😤
Thank you! I'm finding city tiles has more repetition and precision so the stamps definitely made life much much easier! But of course you can also just use a flagstone roller if you're not particular about having the battlegrid included! Good luck on your city tiles journey 🫡
I have an idea that might turn out to be quite interesting if it would work: When your clay dries, what is the finished density? I am looking for a medium that will not crumble if used in stamp-fashion on insulation foam or foam-core board. Additionally, I would love to know the actual shrinkage ratio. Does the packaging for the clay give any indication of this (%)?
It's okay I secretly edited the entire video in anticipation of the Metal Gear exclamation sound. Thanks for your support and watching through it all :P
Ah this is pretty neat I never would of thought to use the clay to make stamps for other clay surfaces :) This is a lot more useful for me over the pond in the UK because it's hard to get affordable or good quality sheets of foam. Now what if I skip the foam entirely and use Clay to cast my clay stamps for clay texture tiles >:3
Just found this channel and I love it! Thank you for bringing more female representation to the hobby space! It makes me feel better about joining a local group.
Tip for those trying Polymer clay - dust your stamps lightly with corn starch - that'll stop the sticking. Just be careful not to put too much and obscure your stamps. :)
A 3d printer and can easily print free stamps for impressing a larger variety of materials... that don't need so much post processing... or just 3d print the tiles themselves... Buying a 3d printer is a better long term time/monitary investment than all the other crap needed for a more "crafty" strategy. Regardless your approach was fun to watch.
I do agree that in general and for long-term, a 3D printer would absolutely negate the need for this process, but realistically not everyone has the means or space to acquire a printer, so this is a creative option for some!
Yes! I did a video on texture rollers on silicone and texture rollers on clay would certainly be simpler. This is an option for those who maybe don't have rollers as accessible to them or want to customize their own.

Thank you! I try my best to make things concise so I'm happy that it comes across and for your acknowledgement!

😉
Thank you for b-road-casting such a lovely message! I'll try not to let it go to my head haha.

Thank you! I seek to inform and entertain.

Woohoo! Glad the algorithm got you here then. Thank you very much for the kind feedback 😊
Fun video! I didn't hear you mention it specifically, but be sure to bake your clay before installing your magnets! (Heat damages magnets.)
Finally, I've been waiting for your next video and I'm never disappointed.
I appreciate your patience haha and I'm glad I could deliver!
This is precisely the guide I was waiting for to build it myself! Big fan of your work ever since i saw your first video. Keep it up!
I'm stoked to inspire and hope the video serves you and your streets well! Thank you so much for your support 🥹
I am glad your channel is so new! I plan on making sci-fi terrain in the future using ideas from RPArchive and your channel!
I've had others ask about using the system for sci-fi builds as well, so it might be something I tackle in the future too--There's really nothing like figuring out your own spin on some solid systems!
Stellar editing on this one here, wow! :)
Thank you very much!
Heat Gun over top after cut the Brick pattern in will open them up also. just dont get so close or Focus on one spot and melt the foam.
Great tutorial and editing - really thoughtful and fantastic work in all your videos! (Also a sucker for a good pun.)
Thats a great way to create custom molds. They could be made for a lot of patterns. Dwarves, modern, science fiction
Yes! This is just the beginning.
Great innovative tutorial. Everything looks so good!
Thank you, thank you!
These roads look great. Well done.
Thank you!
Beautiful work as always. Thank you for including both types of clay in the video as well to give more options. You are great!
Yes! I had to try both for myself so I'm glad to share the experience. Thank you for your kind feedback 😊

Watching your videos is getting me in the mood to do some scratch building
This tutorial is certainly going to make an impression!
Said p-lane and simple!

I take squared coffee stirring sticks and paint them in my street colors for my street curves. Super duper fast.
I bet those stamps would be great on silicone caulking (as per Black Magic Craft) as well!
Ooooh just you wait for the next video 😎
Another lovely video! Perfect for getting those city displays ready.
Yes! And more to come!
Just seeing the notification of a new video just made my day I love your videos you're my top 1 terrain influencer :3
Awww thank you! This warms my sooouuullll ♥️
This really paves the way to having a successful city!
Yes! A dynamic space for different encounters and chances for parties to display com-road-erie? Sounds like a successful city to me!
@@raecheldoes Encounters where people take their turn, pikes ready, really has some great curb appeal.
Creating the stamps is genius! Could you also make a roller as well I wonder? Resin or epoxy perhaps. Awesome work and video quality!!😊
Oh ho ho you may be seeing into the future there... And thank you, thank you!

I'm just here for the Metal Gear exclamation sound.
Just kidding, great video as usual!
It's okay I secretly edited the entire video in anticipation of the Metal Gear exclamation sound. Thanks for your support and watching through it all :P
Looking forward to the street puns
Hey, you've *gutter* great idea here 😄👌
I see your Gazebo and raise you a Pergola 😃!
I like your editing 😀
Thank you!

Ah that's good to know that these tips are regionally impactful! I would be happy to think I might have inspired clay-ception here haha.
Just found this channel and I love it! Thank you for bringing more female representation to the hobby space! It makes me feel better about joining a local group.

Ahh that's a great tip! I will give that a go next time.
Forgot, loved the fountain you used, where did you get that little gem?? Cheers!!
It's a WizKids Deep Cuts fountain. I got it at my local hobby store!
outstanding!
It'd be so cool and funny if your next terrain would be the bottom of a bone pit. The idea of players having to traverse endless skulls is so morbid.
Morbid indeed 😂
So about that RP archive Collab coming up? 😂
It's still my dream! A nervous dream.

Excelent!
Bahahaha you're ridiculous. And the best! Makes me want to mess with clay now.
Hehehe thank you! I see this as a compliment on both fronts haha.
I think I stick to using texture rollers on clay... easier.
Yes! I did a video on texture rollers on silicone and texture rollers on clay would certainly be simpler. This is an option for those who maybe don't have rollers as accessible to them or want to customize their own.
👌👌👌
Why didnt you just make a Silicone Mold and Pour tiles out of Plaster (Dental Plaster is Strong).
