Jared, please know that these long weird mysterious games are extremely fun for us to watch you play. I for one love videos like this and your MyHouse playthrough. Please don't for a second think we in your audience are upset with you for doing this. We're on your side whenever you just want to chill out and have a good time for a few hours. I understand if it's bad for your metrics or for editing or whatever, but if *you* want to play a game for a few hours because you're having a good time, please by all means do that. Also, I love the weird mystery solving spookums. I will always be down for more games like this. And with MyHouse it was so fun I shared it with several of my friends and some of my family. Because weird puzzles are fun to watch you sort out.
Especially when it's a game like this, that works so well without needing to wait a couple days for the next episode. With some games, the breaks don't matter much. But with others, a lot of the mood can be lost when needing to watch it in 30 minute increments. This game falls into the latter category.
I know this was recorded months ago but maybe Jared hasn't seen it but that "funny Blues Clues ripoff" is an actual game. It's just a funny little horror themed point and click but it has a lot of charm, he should check it out. It's short enough for one episode
The face of the see and say flying off was the most effective jump scare I've seen on Jared to date. that being said, if you want to play more of this game, or more games like it, that would be cool as heck!
I watched this video through the work day. Such an interesting story, and of course thank you jared for an extra long episode. I know uploading super long videos can be hectic but it was really good the whole way through.
My thought after the end of that video was not that it was too long. It's that I would have left it on for another hour if that's what it took to get to the end.
So happy to see you play this! I love when you post long vidros of interesting games with lore and puzzles. I get to get cozy with coffee in hand to watch them!
I honestly don't mind the video length every so often, it's nice having something in the background for a while and not having to babysit youtube. This game is fun and has so many more secrets than it used to.
I really like these types of long playthroughs. You did a really good job here. If you want a recommendation on a quick simple horrorish game, try Squirrel Stapler.
45 minutes in and this is right up my alley. Always reminds me a little bit of playing old video games as a kid never knowing how long the game was going to be or what was actually possible in terms of story and potentially gameplay. Thanks a bunch for uploading Jared!
as someone who's name is actually Amanda irl, and who grew up listening to my niece watch dora the explorer ad nauseum, this is such a wild game to watch... Looking forward to seeing Jared's reactions.
This game had some really nice ideas, but having to watch the same tapes over and over again got a bit annoying by the end and there was no real ending to this, so I was left unsatisfied. But you still managed to keep this as interesting as possible for over 3 hours!
Also this game rules. It isn't satisfied to just sit and be a spooky 'ohh the video's bleeding into reality ohh something weird's trapped in it' thing, you can actually affect IT too. you're an active participant. and the 'Hamelin' reference took me WAY too long to pick up on.
So, to get the 5th and best ending you need to find ALL the colored tapes and watch them all the way through. There are 5 tapes in total, then after getting all 5 do the ending where you destroy the TV.
If you haven't played already, Mortuary Assistant is another good atmospheric horror game you could consider playing I would totally watch it. I don't mind long playthroughs like this either its a good treat every now and then like watching a movie
Ah! I played this one recently. I actually rather liked it. Had some decent creeps but I really enjoy the puzzles, build-up, and secrets to find. Though my biggest issue was that it ended just as it felt it was about to really take off. Oh well, I'll definitely look into the sequel next year. I liked enough of what I played to check out more.
Not to badmouth him, but I actually feel like the lack of Vlad's presence worked to this game's benefit. Extensive editing, especially in his style, would've probably destroyed the video's mood.
Oh this is dumb, apparently the final ending is just... do one of the previous endings, but having-found-all-five-tapes it'll change. this is a really intelligently made game but that is a big oversight.
okay did I have a stroke or.. the candle equals 1, because it stood in for 1 previously, but Jerd thought it was 2 and somehow it still worked? and also he didn't even do the right math on the last two, even if it were 2...
I have to wonder, just how many people these days don't even know what a VHS or VCR TV is and think it's completely made up for the game?...I feel so old ._.
@@jeremiah1293 He also mentioned in the description that it was originally going to be edited before Vlad left, so after just sitting on the footage for a while, he decided to post it as is.
Man… Inscryption is just so good. Glad you still remember it man

I'm upset that he got to this so late /joke
Jared tries to bake a potato. Couple minutes later, "WHERE DID THIS POTATO COME FROM IT WASNT ME"
18:05 - I love the way Jared went from 'lol nobody' to his eyes popping out of his head in surprise.
Dude straight up became a cartoon character for a moment
"Sorry it's so long"
Dude, you REALLY don't need to apologize for giving us MORE content.
I'm always up for a new PJ movie.

Forgot about the front of the weather See N Say™ making Jared jump, still funny.
19:42 - 19:56 I do remember the Nickelodeon orange tapes. In fact, I owned one of them that had episodes of the rugrats.
Haha, thanks for reminding me of that, I had the same ones.
Every time he got to the chickens I was like, PLEASE try the dad's name. It was so relieving when he finally put it in.
I always enjoy the long-form horror games when you do them. Usually I can't watch long streams but you're so entertaining in these I can
I know this was recorded months ago but maybe Jared hasn't seen it but that "funny Blues Clues ripoff" is an actual game. It's just a funny little horror themed point and click but it has a lot of charm, he should check it out. It's short enough for one episode

"We can't divide by zero"
Jared, you're in a horror game. Dividing by zero should be the least of your concerns
Three hours of Jared playing a Spook'em? Yes please.
I watched this video through the work day. Such an interesting story, and of course thank you jared for an extra long episode. I know uploading super long videos can be hectic but it was really good the whole way through.

Amanda - Who can help him?
"Nobody".
Amanda - "Ah, You're probably right."
I really like these types of long playthroughs. You did a really good job here.

I love watching playthru of these types of games. I think blabot is wooly.
"nobody"
"you're probably right"
jared's face drop lmao
I'm so upset that he didn't fully finish the game. I feel like I need to know more and he left me hanging.
Super glad you uploaded this, this has been a great way to spend the evening!
This play through was SO much fun to watch in chunks over the week. Please more long form videos and content. 10/10
Loved this vid. Thank you!
Was awesome to see this played. It was really neat to enjoy this through you lol.
Jared's facial reaction to any horror or spooky scene is so genuine but also hilarious!
the way his eyes buldge always gets me
My trekkie brain when it asks how many lights there are: THERE ARE FOUR LIGHTS!!!
Took me a few seconds to understand what he said, but i appreciated it once he did!
"I was going to type 'horny' but you made me type 'alone'." Same, brother. 😞😞😞😞
When Jared calls out Vlad... miss that guy...
I'd noticed that too. Was wondering if Vlad was back.
@@MechjocI'd had that thought too. I miss him as well. You don't see a great editor like that everyday.
@@Mechjoc I swear I remember him recording this a while ago before Vlad left.
What ever happened to miss editor
The channel was stopped for a few months a few years ago and she left around then. I believe Vlad was the editor when it came back
45 minutes in and this is right up my alley. Always reminds me a little bit of playing old video games as a kid never knowing how long the game was going to be or what was actually possible in terms of story and potentially gameplay. Thanks a bunch for uploading Jared!
I love this long form content!
That storm spinner popping off and Jared’s reaction got me.
Thanks for the Christmas gift-advice!
It took me a couple of days to have the time to sit down and watch this vid but it's a great one just for Jared's reactions.
Truthfully I actually prefer these longform light/non-edited vod formats to watch videos.
wake up babe, 3hr Projared content just dropped
The pig? I don't think it'd appreciate if I woke it up for this.
I love these long playthroughs, Jerd. I have watched Hammy play this on Twitch, and I’m glad that the game you played is finally being uploaded here.
It took me 9 days but I finally finished the vid. Loved it!
I needed this today. Thanks Jared.
When she got sassy about the past office I almost cried laughing
That's perfect, love longplays.
as someone who's name is actually Amanda irl, and who grew up listening to my niece watch dora the explorer ad nauseum, this is such a wild game to watch... Looking forward to seeing Jared's reactions.
edit: i love this, please do the last bits, and when the sequel comes out do that too
Just mark this under "Games I didn't know I wanted Projared to play until he played it"
This was great. I wish it went on for another… 5 hours? Thanks Jerd!
So excited to watch Jared play scary games again ❤❤❤
Oooh, thank you for uploading this! This was a fun stream Jared, so I look forward to watching it again.
That was pretty cool! I watched the whole thing while working :P
When he addressed vlad 😢
Long form content! Let's go
This game had some really nice ideas, but having to watch the same tapes over and over again got a bit annoying by the end and there was no real ending to this, so I was left unsatisfied. But you still managed to keep this as interesting as possible for over 3 hours!

and the 'Hamelin' reference took me WAY too long to pick up on.
Long videos are fine, don't you worry about it. Would be up for watching more of this if you feel like trying for the rest of the endings.
oooo misreading that hospital clock really set poor Jerd back.
Also for a super atmospheric, mystery game... Play Outer Wilds. It will be a little longer, but it is so very good.
Didnt know the video changed scenes if you paused it and did something in the room.
Hell i dont think i have seen a single big youtuber do that.
MatPat from GTLive did that right when he got the pause button.
That unexpectedly working "nobody" reaction was fantastic--mega dating yourself with that orange Nickelodeon tape question, though.
(And yes.)
So, to get the 5th and best ending you need to find ALL the colored tapes and watch them all the way through.
There are 5 tapes in total, then after getting all 5 do the ending where you destroy the TV.

"hey vlad, sorry about this long vid!"
dang, how long ago was this recorded??
If you haven't played already, Mortuary Assistant is another good atmospheric horror game you could consider playing I would totally watch it.
I don't mind long playthroughs like this either its a good treat every now and then like watching a movie
eh problem with that one is it will prob get demonitized or age restricted instantly, with all the stuff that went on with markiplier and cory kenshin
This was fun, the first thing this makes me think of was Inscryption, and that was one of my favorite games of this channel, and that year.
Ah! I played this one recently.
I actually rather liked it. Had some decent creeps but I really enjoy the puzzles, build-up, and secrets to find. Though my biggest issue was that it ended just as it felt it was about to really take off.
Oh well, I'll definitely look into the sequel next year. I liked enough of what I played to check out more.
this was way cool.
Please continue to do the rest!! Please??
If you like those kind of mystery games, you should try the Rusty Lake games. 🙂
I suppose the missing rnding is probably linked to the notes that were on display in the meat pie version of Neighborhood. Never did get that to work.
damn you can't do a 3hour session and not finish this now
I think this is from months ago sadly
Unexpected length and topic!
This was better than any movie I could've watched
1:54:10 Jerd out here saying 3x3=6. I feel like I made that same mistake more than half the time back when I was in school lmao
For some reason I feel like I'm more likely to watch long form videos like this
Not to badmouth him, but I actually feel like the lack of Vlad's presence worked to this game's benefit. Extensive editing, especially in his style, would've probably destroyed the video's mood.
the name Hameln for the TVproducers is funny
19:00 Goes to hospital at 6:20, hasn't seen a doctor until at least 10:50? Ah, Canadian Healthcare
Appreciated the Arrested Development reference my dude.
Oh this is dumb, apparently the final ending is just... do one of the previous endings, but having-found-all-five-tapes it'll change. this is a really intelligently made game but that is a big oversight.
17:58 Nobody
*”The cow says”*
cough
i really love games like this
Potato is my favorite color
Well this playthrough was unexpected.
And edited by Vlad nonetheless!
okay did I have a stroke or..
the candle equals 1, because it stood in for 1 previously, but Jerd thought it was 2 and somehow it still worked? and also he didn't even do the right math on the last two, even if it were 2...
Need Jared to find the last ending
interesting combo of fmv and meta horror
I'm disappointed you didn't finish the game. I hope you revisit this because I don't want to watch another video on it.
She's scary
Games like this... Hynospace Outlaw Maybe?
I have to wonder, just how many people these days don't even know what a VHS or VCR TV is and think it's completely made up for the game?...I feel so old ._.
I ended up watching the whole thing. I respect you for playing it and all but holy crap no. Playing it by yourself too? Nah.
I read this as 30 minutes. Didn’t realize I was strapping in for a ProJared movie and I’m all for it.
Oh, god, this game's weird. I remember watching a speedrun of this and thought it was weird even back then.
PLEASE finish this game
Wooly is my everyday mood
I like long videos. I only like a few content creators, so more to take in is better for me.
If you like atmosphere and figuring out a story, play The Norwood Suite.
Dang hoping you continue
Creepy but you made it fun.
No edits are fine, we can skip around.
I remember Spacehamster 100% this on stream.
Same
did jar actually meant to put up a 3hs video? weird but I'll take it
He played this on a stream some time ago, so it makes sense to be uploaded in a long format. Plus RUclips likes people watching super long videos
