- I got the guys on some good fishing grounds this trip out. Cliff pulls up his PB on the lightest rod in his arsenal on the jig. It was definitely a battle that most fisherman dream of!

EPIC !!!!
Well now we have to target a bigger one. Make it super epic
I've seen times I'll give it a few and the fish will swim out of the hole
Yeah, I have had it happen. Frustration still finds me lol.
Hey nice video what rod and reel were you using and would you mind doing a review on your cool boat
This is Rick's boat. I can try next saason
What pound braid and leader do you use for jigs? What pound do you use with traditional hooks and sinkers? Looking to pick up a dark matter rod.
20 lb for the jig, 30lb for the rig. 40 minimum flouro leader.
@@LongIslandLethals Same as me though I bump up the flouro up to 80 if need be
@@JigEmUp yeah I will use 50 down south when I go, rugged wrecks and bottom there.
Great trip and video. Was that big fish on a white or a green?
White crab, mud crab.
Thanks!
@@LongIslandLethals Thank you.
Hey brother, what rod are you using? I’m looking for a sweet stick for jigging tog…. Thanks
Great vids
The Dark Matter Skinner Jig and bounce spinner MH 6' 3". I think he stopped makkng the MH though. I am hearing they are M and lighter now.
@@LongIslandLethals Thanks so much for responding. I use a St. Croix Avid Inshore 7’ M paired with a Stradic 4000 which is amazing but looking for another stick. I’m thinking about a Black
Hole Challenger Bank 7’ spinner paired with a Stradic 2500 or Vanford 3000
@@JigEmUp I used the 701 in the spring and had an 8 + on it the other day. It's a good rod, I was fishing the rig though.
Try strumming the line when all else fails
😂😂
