@doug2202 the model is a custom RC LB70XL 10-25 lb test MF action M power. He cut 12" off the butt I believe to bring it to 6'. I have all the bend I need with a quick hookset I feel.
Looked like that was a sick trip Was that 18lber caught on a jig/spinning rod Thank you Great videos I’ll be in Maryland in a week ,I hope I have a trip like this
The white crab are not very hearty, you have to take good care of them to not have die off. We would sink them to keep them alive due to the wind. If they dry out, they die.
@anon-e-mouse988 they have the most wrecks and man made reefs on the east coast. Ocean city reef foundation has done a tremendous amount of work to create habitat for fish to live and grow. Draggers can't get to them.
Looked like a sick trip, I am going to Maryland for a few trips in a week from now. Was that 18 caught with a jig on a spinner Thanks Btw …great videos!
We release the big fish because they produce more eggs, also to allow the fish to grow for a better fight next time. We caught a bunch more smaller keepers, I just didn't put it in the video.
@@LongIslandLethalsoh ok I got my answer, I respect that. I also like smaller fish, not sure why but they taste better imo. That being said I’ve also never caught a black fish over 10 pounds before.
Do you know the model Rainshadow blank you use?

Those are huge fish. I guess it’s too far to go at the black fish tournament!
😂😂😂 yeah, a few 600's might help but the calcutta might not cover the fuel bill lol
What is the custom rod you were talking about?
@@mikedepo12 rain shadow MF cut to 6 foot
Awesome, what do you think water temp was and how deep? You fishing the island in April?
Top water was around 48 degrees. I don't want to talk about depth out of respect for the captain, but we weren't shallow.
the edits lmao. Nice day out there! What's your depth?

Caught on conventional
What reel are you using?
The conventional rod reel is a Poseidon 50SL, I had a Stradic 3000 on the bay rod and a VR 50 on the larger spinning rod.
What was in the box ?
