- On today's flight we pick up where we left off at Bole International Airport, Addis Ababa, as we head to Félix-Houphouët-Boigny International Airport, Cote d'Ivoire (The Ivory Coast). This airport has a truly stunning approach.
We are flying on a Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner, Registration is ET-AYD, in Economy.

Beautiful flight report. The 787-9s are in good condition, the 787-8s and 777s and some A350s of Ethiopian Airlines need an immediate seat retrofitting.
I agree, some of the older aircraft are in need of an upgrade. My next flight is on an older model, so you'll get to see what I experienced soon

Côte d’Ivoire is French speaking country. French is a international language. English isn’t a requirement it’s more of a bonus. When traveling to other countries. You have understand things are different from what your used too

I just flew them business class 787 from bkk to add then to ewr. Literally the dirtiest , disgusting business class I have ever flown. Was so angry, but literally wanted to cry at how much money I wasted
😲 I'm so sorry you had such a terrible experience! I have noticed that there is a large variance in the quality of the flight and the onboard experience, depending on the specific aircraft and crew. It actually became apparent on my next flight (which I'll be uploading soon)
@@trying1013 thank you for the response. The crew was really nice, but I could tell that they were frustrated (and) embarrassed at their plane and the condition of the plane. BKK-ADD, was slightly better as the seats were lie flat, but the segment ADD-EWR was just horrendous. Filthy disgusting seat, with covers coming off, and the foam missing, ripped out in big chunks. That combined with the fact that the plane stopped in Lome for god knows what reason. The airport was a non air conditioned room, with one counter to buy food and water. The line had….no exaggeration…36 people in it, trying to buy something to eat/drink and one counter employee. I was completely exhausted once I got to EWR, and starving. They served the inflight meal in the dark, used map reading light on seat to try to see what I was eating. I was looking so forward to the flights before I left, as I had seen some decent reviews. But….never ever again. If Ethiopian air, said they’d fly me RT for free, I would not accept. Singapore air is my go to when flying from the US to Asia. They are pretty much a perfect airline when flying business class. Happy travels.
