In this second video (Part 2 of 2), we continue our trip back home. We pick up where we left off somewhere over the Atlantic, as we head for Bole International Airport (ADD). We will have a quick stop in Abidjan before we proceed to Ethiopia.

how was the flight from one to ten? Good customer service? were they strict with the baggage rules
I would give them a sold 8.5/10. Ethiopian always shine on service delivery. In terms of baggage, I made sure I was under weight, so I didn't have any issues. But I've found that a polite attitude and smile go a long way when you're slightly over 😉

@@trying1013 i stay in Blantyre and the earliest flight is like 8:15 and I went to check Lilongwe KIA earliest departure and it was like 6:00 am so your video makes sense😂😂 but love that you were that early. Don't take chances with flights. Can't wait to have my first flight man, I love aviation but never been to the skies.

After watching both of your videos and reviews of this route. You seem to criticize and complain a lot. I’m pretty sure Lilongwe International Airport doesn’t have adequate facilities and accommodation compared to Abidjan or JFK. If your going to make airline reviews be show the airline and experience with out complaining and nagging.
Côte d’Ivoire is French speaking country. French is a international language. English isn’t a requirement it’s more of a bonus. When traveling to other countries. You have understand things are different from what your used too

I just flew them business class 787 from bkk to add then to ewr. Literally the dirtiest , disgusting business class I have ever flown. Was so angry, but literally wanted to cry at how much money I wasted
😲 I'm so sorry you had such a terrible experience! I have noticed that there is a large variance in the quality of the flight and the onboard experience, depending on the specific aircraft and crew. It actually became apparent on my next flight (which I'll be uploading soon)
@@trying1013 thank you for the response. The crew was really nice, but I could tell that they were frustrated (and) embarrassed at their plane and the condition of the plane. BKK-ADD, was slightly better as the seats were lie flat, but the segment ADD-EWR was just horrendous. Filthy disgusting seat, with covers coming off, and the foam missing, ripped out in big chunks. That combined with the fact that the plane stopped in Lome for god knows what reason. The airport was a non air conditioned room, with one counter to buy food and water. The line had….no exaggeration…36 people in it, trying to buy something to eat/drink and one counter employee. I was completely exhausted once I got to EWR, and starving. They served the inflight meal in the dark, used map reading light on seat to try to see what I was eating. I was looking so forward to the flights before I left, as I had seen some decent reviews. But….never ever again. If Ethiopian air, said they’d fly me RT for free, I would not accept. Singapore air is my go to when flying from the US to Asia. They are pretty much a perfect airline when flying business class. Happy travels.

Beautiful flight report. The 787-9s are in good condition, the 787-8s and 777s and some A350s of Ethiopian Airlines need an immediate seat retrofitting.
I agree, some of the older aircraft are in need of an upgrade. My next flight is on an older model, so you'll get to see what I experienced soon
