Hyper Pacman (c) 1995 SemiCom.
This is an updated version of Namco's seminal "Pac-Man", featuring forced-perspective 3-D graphics that allow the players to jump over the enemy ghosts; in a similar fashion to Namco's "Pac-Mania", released in 1987. There are secret items and food to be found on each level that increases the player's power and score. The power-ups themselves consist of a shield, helmet lasers, speed and jump shoes. Players will face a boss encounter every ten stages and the game ends after the 30th stage.

- TIPS AND TRICKS -
If you eat only the small dots and not the power dots, you will gain access to a secret stage on each round (with extend, shield, helmet lasers, speed, and jump shoes). If you play with the second player, the ghost will chase you less than the first player and you will be closer to the fixed items on each stage.

For a bootleg, this actually seems like a pretty damn good game.
Just because something's heavily derivative doesn't make it inherently low-effort anyway, even if that's often the case.

Damn you're REALLY good at this game. I never knew about the bonus stages for not eating any power pellets etc. I used to play this game a lot back in 2011 on MAME. I was shocked when I first found out about it back then and was amazed by the quality & gameplay. Truly an underrated hidden gem by today's standards.
I’m a massive fan of real PAC-MAN games, so if I ever played this I’d not be able to stop myself from banging into those damn blue ghosts all the time!
This is way too good to be a bootleg....

これ、当時見たことあったような気もしますが、かの国のパクリ作品とは思わなかった。
しかし、ラスボスのBGMだけは妙に良くて、普通にプレイしても残機が増えすぎてそのラスボスで30分ぐらい稼ぎできる詰めの甘さがかの国らしいw

Bit disappointed the game doesn't cash in your extra lives for any more points. I get that the Round 29 bonus gives you _20_ extra lives, but even then, it doesn't have to be anything crazy like the 100k from Pac-Man Arrangement.
Anyway, this game seems really interesting; especially the music after round 10.
