I find that see suggestions from chat gpt's tend to be based on the underlying principles that you are teaching. They may be more specific to certain roles/ niches than you're used to coaching though. That could be why you feel ambivalent toward some of them. I'm trying to learn more about public speaking because I want to be an influential leader in a non-profit. That needs means I need to have confidence and credibility
Darren I just wanted to say Hello, I’ve only recently discovered your channel and I’m loving it… I started out life stuttering and mumbling and a mentor advised I should try public speaking, and I essentially went ‘Uh!’ But it worked, I was in my teens and this is many decades ago now. Browsing through your channel has reminded me just how much fun that was, and want refresh old forgotten skills, so if you don’t mind I’d like to hang around your channel… generally make nuisance of myself, that sort of thing. On Topic: a good way to help with confidence in connecting with an audience is to try and meet some of them before-hand, two, three or four, then when you’re on platform you spot them out, hopefully they will be spread out, so you can look from one to the other making contact with different parts of the audience. With ‘authority’, it depends on the terms and context that is meant. If we are referring to support and claims for specific arguments then you need to provide reference or some proof of claims. Finally, Darren I know you’re a busy man but when you have time I would love to see your take on the voice that was Richard Burton, lastly the voiceover artist that was Frank Oz voice of many of the Muppets, movie animations, and Yoda. Frank was badly treated by their movie industry in his latter years, I think he deserves not to be forgotten… Cheers Darren, glad to have found you ❤
