WOW - first time ever hearing this song or seeing - Hana's drum work, especially her footwork is insane (mind you while singing) - Tomo-Zo's solo was a shred-fest - Koga's mad bass skills and Oreo's performance make this my new fave video to watch - just tons of fun!!
I like G.S.'s sound, which is really on display in this song. Its kind of like their name, all over the place and hard to describe. All of their music is very upbeat too. even in the songs that probably arent meant to be.
@@amiwolf8117 The sweep arpeggios got my attention right away, but what I like best about the solo is how well-composed it is. Fits the song perfectly. And then that unison/harmonised part with Oreo's synth to end it off. Just brilliant!
@@LyndonLong Yeah she's so good, and so sadly overlooked by many. I've been singing her praises for years to anyone who'll listen. I truly believe listening to her and learning her songs on guitar (as best I can within my abilities) has improved me so much as a musician, probably more than any other single factor. It's more subtle than the guitar solo and vocals and bass are going pretty crazy over it, but if you haven't already check out the licks she's playing from 3:20 to 3:32 in this track. Not shredding, just SO tasty and SO groovy. I got so obsessed with that section when I first heard this track.
I would love to hear their beautiful voices without the auto tune on their vocals. I know they have no need of my opinion. It just takes away from how great their voices are. I hope I didn’t offend anyone,I’ve been a huge fan for about 10 years and I’m still so impressed by what they do. Peace
I'm in agreement about the autotune... Luckily from what I've seen it seems like more of their stuff doesn't have that than does, so I'm glad about that.
@@sonoriuxo2437 Not sure about that... Usually the music business concentrate on national artists and the top from EU and US. Then there is very little place for other bands. This title contains Japanese "word" puns. Related to "Heidi, Girl of the Alps", which was popular cartoon in Japan in the past. Means "girl in the Alps". Means "a certain ugly girl". It just only changed from 「プ」 to 「ブ」. The meaning of "girl in the Alps" has changed to "a certain ugly girl". In the song, the tone and lyrics of the anime are used a little.
There are some older performances by GS that shouldn't be forgotten. This is one of those. Discovered it just for the first time and still love it!
I think so too
Long-hair Oreo sama is something to behold!!! And that voice of hers cuts through my soul like a re-hot knife!! So pure and beautiful!!
Love GS. Regards from a Band Maid fan (also fan of GS)

A staggeringly good song and video !!!
Are we not going to talk about TOMO-ZO's killer guitar solo?
Yep, she could shred with anyone if she choose to do so - but to all of them the song comes first.
This solo is a standout though, I agree :)

I appreciate the reply and I also agree with you. They are such amazing musicians.
Gacharic Spin Powerrrrrrrrrr........
Love you ladies!
How come I'm just now hearing about this band?
Because Japan is an exclusive self-isolating society filled with secrets :-)
Galapagos Syndrome. They don't care (music industry in general) to get known abroad when they already famous in their own land.

hahaha that's amazing!! Now I understand why they yodel at the end!!
Anyone have a translation? Maybe of the title, for a start? Google Translate says "Arbus Girl" but there must be a bit more to it than that.
"Arbus" is in Japanese "aru-busu", that mean "Not pretty" or "Not beautiful" like that. "aru-busu no shojo" = "a not pretty girl".
How come they release the MV so late?
i think it had something to do with their label.
