Very nice review, much appreciated. What drew me to your video is that last winter I bought myself a scooter a swagtron swagger 5 and just the other day I was able to take it out for a run for the first time, as the roads were at least clear of snow. A little cold riding at 9C but I had a good time. I am 77 years old, and only dared to get up to the second speed lol. It felt fast enough. Maybe in the summer on a good road and when I get more used to it try speed three. Anyway, it has been a long winter, and I am anxious to fly my drones and model aircraft and make some videos on youtube also. After seeing your great video will also try a little video on my scooter too when I try out the bike trail around the bay which should be fun. Thanks again for the nice review and Happy Scooting.

Grandpa Ken, I am also a 75 yo senior and ordered a Tianrun similar to your Swagger which arrived yesterday. I tried it today just to get familiar with it and I feel the scooter is fast enough for my use. I also have a Swagtron Swagcycle but I prefer a kick scooter as it is more portable as it weights less than 20 pounds. A good friend of mine has a Ninebot Segway and goes around southern California riding buses and metro rails with his foldable scooter and is inviting me to join his little excursions. Come to LA so that you can enjoy your Swagtron even during wintertime. My Honda Elite 110cc scooter is gathering dust in my garage because my wife gets nervous everytime I ride it in LA streets. She said I am too old for that but I told her that once a rider, always a rider even if one is 100 years old lol.

Excellent video. Very informative. Did you cover the specifications, such as weight, charge time, etc? Did you show how to "lift and roll" meaning using the handle and rolling it behind you in areas that do not permitted riding?
Thanks for watching, I do mention specs such as weight, range, speed, etc. You can't lift and roll / drag this as the handlebar will not lock when folded and it's also very heavy to carry around.
No it's not waterproof and regardless of what sellers say such as that it might be, they will void your warranty as soon as they get the chance and see water ingress. Beside that it's not waterproof at all, the deck is not sealed and water will get in, motors do no seal up properly and they will rust inside, EYE3 throttle it's known not to be waterproof and people are DIY making water protectors for it from condoms etc.
Really nice , on point and you covered all main points :) I'm not sure if that was in purpose or not but in the folding mechanism I noticed you had this red screw in the wrong position it should be turn in a way that it blocks he folding handle to move.

The battery can have anything between 200-800+ charges, depends on a lot of things such as how much capacity you use such as partial charge / discharge (better) or full charge discharge (worse), the amount of high speed you run it it, if you fast charge (worse) or slow charge it (better), the extreme temperatures you run such as below freezing or very hot 40+°C temps, etc.

Very nice review. We have those in my country as well. Good option for those with poor roads (or no roads). Heavy front end means more planted front (less wobble at high speed). But just like a motorcycle with that geometry, going into potholes will be quite jarring compared to low swingarm design of Dualtrons. This one might also seem durable but don't take it for granted. It still can be broken with abuse and poor maintenance.
@@TechTronic9000 Also, there are 2 models of these. The only one worth the money is the high end 35ah version using minomotors controller (EY3 LCD). The entry level model gave us nothing but disappointment with shoddy performance and unexplainable issues with sudden cut-offs.
@@TechTronic9000 Also, be wary of water getting into the battery tray from the front. The front mudguard needs to be extended to block water all the way down. We found out the hard way when our test unit's battery got soaked in water from the wires coming into the battery tray behind the front mudguard. You are right about the rear springs too. You can probably fashion some sort of mudguard to reduce crud getting on the springs/dampers in the back.
I am from Germany and looking for a scooter to commute, maybe for fun too a little bit. But I doubt that I will drive often 70kmh to 80kmh. Mostly while commuting I guess I will drive around 30 to 35kmh max speed in single mode to get more range. Sometimes, when I find the right place, I will drive max speed at around 60kmh. There are the Kaboo Mantis and the Zero 10x, and the faster Kaboo wolf warrior II and the faster Zero 11x. I will ride mostly on road. Which one has the best driving performance? Should I go for the faster ones for my purpose? Maybe they have better suspension, steering, or whatever than the slower ones? Even if I dont ride at max speed, maybe the over all driving performance of the faster ones is better than with the slower ones. And then the question, Zero or Kaboo? My weight is 90kg.
Check my T103 Halo Knight review, that scooter is far better for several reasons, it's lighter, has almost the same range, has almost the same speed, has much more better suspension for city usage. You will also find there a link for the producer and they have plenty more models.
The range varies a lot depending on a lot of factors such as temperature, weight and how you use it. With turbo enable, hard start, motor torque max, no speed limit and dual motor the range can be as low as 40-50km but you will get up to anything between 80-100km/h. With more eco settings and slower speeds you can get 60-80km while doing a slow 18-20km/h run will yield as much as the advertised 150km.
Do not buy gearbest is very bad company. It took me 4 months and a half to send me a Xiaomi Mijia m365 and I arrived with the whole case broken and did not take responsibility after having paid travel insurance. They forgot about me and did not want to help me, so today I buy much better on Aliexpress and they are always there to help you or refund your money for any problems you have with your order. Great video, thanks mate.
Yes that is true and it's because that Dualtron only wants to sell now through their own dealerships and keep price high. UBGO / KWK was an authorized factory and dealer for Minimotors so they actually built Dualtron, Speedway and their own brands such as UBGO. They also sell this Kaabo scooter which is entirely built with minimotors dulatron thunder parts: motors, controllers, throttle, battery, etc. only the frame is different.
TechTronic9000 thanks for the information. I actually saw your review of the Xiaomi Qicycle. An excellent review and bought one. Though the electric assist is not working as well as one of the lights and I heard this is a common problem. I used it three times then moved home and when I went to test it before selling a car saw the problem and tried to update but still it doesn't recognise on the computer the motor MCC. so I'm thinking of trying to get a Scooter again as I sold my m365 to get the qicycle. Which scooter do you recommend for a somebody who doesn't need anything as powerful as the wolf warrior II. I'm about 45 kg and want something no too heavy and can u go around 50 kph. Many thanks
Try with this app also, you need to sign in first with a google account and then reflash the modules of the QiCycle: play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.chrisoft.qicycle1&hl=en As for scooters you could have a look at my review of the "Honghao S12", it has 29kg, gets up to 55km/h has good range and good suspension.
TechTronic9000 thank a lot for that. I used Chris's update previously but did not fix the problem. But in the settings looks like it changed the speed. I saw your review of the Honghao previously but decided against it as I don't know much about it, known faults and its reliability and customer service for it. I think I'll get for the wolf warrior II. The pound is not great right now and next month the UK hopes to do some kind of EU deal before it leaves the EU. So that may cause a fluctuation of prices of all sorts of products
the manual for mine says keep it out of water and for sure not to submerge it in water. I suspect it has some resistance but not a lot. Then when you think about it who wants to "scooter" in the rain lol...
GrampaKenCanada of course nobody, but if ur drivin somewhere and rain starts, then u can do nothing with that. So, but as i know always we can make custom resistant, am i right?

Very nice review. We have those in my country as well. Good option for those with poor roads (or no roads). Heavy front end means more planted front (less wobble at high speed). But just like a motorcycle with that geometry, going into potholes will be quite jarring compared to low swingarm design of Dualtrons. This one might also seem durable but don't take it for granted. It still can be broken with abuse and poor maintenance.
Indeed you are right, especially for the maintenance part.
@@TechTronic9000 Also, there are 2 models of these. The only one worth the money is the high end 35ah version using minomotors controller (EY3 LCD). The entry level model gave us nothing but disappointment with shoddy performance and unexplainable issues with sudden cut-offs.
Yes, the other model is not worth it!
I don't worry so much about the water as with this i won't probably run it in the rain.
Hello, what is the maximum range if you ride it on flat between 50-65km/h in ideal sunny day conditions?
probably ~60km at that speed (with dual motor).
Dear TechTronic!
4 years passed by, if you already own the scooter, what do you think now about it in 2023?
I have mostly swished to ebikes noways, they are lighter, more efficient and more secure.

Got one today, crazy scooter 😁
I-N-S-A-N-E !!! 😂
Hows it holding up? I'm interested but not sure if it's worth the extra grand compared to the mantis for $1599
Ai un filmulet cu viteza. Maxima atinsa?
Inca nu, o sa incerc doar dupa ce gasesc un loc safe pentru teste.
👌🏽
Is it possible to add a seat to this scooter?
Yes if it's done by DIY
55 miles per hour that's the fastest scooter out there
On another teste I have actaully got up to 60mph (96km/h).
I am very glad that you tested max speed because I don’t want to be fool and try it myself.
@Sammy GG chill out dude lol
I am using it for daily commute to work and odometer showing 825km right now. Don’t worry about me.
Nope ive seen a 100+ kmh scooter
Very impressive.
Yes it is!
Can you do a video on kids electric scooter
I have other models reviewed on my channel, some smaller and lighter ones.
Do you have actual range and speed test?
Range varies a lot by how you use it and can be anything from 40 to 80km. Last tested speed 96km/h
Can I use the voltage in any country ?
It comes with a 100-250V charger so it can charge probably in any country, you just need to supply a plug adapter for it.
buddy you missed on a big point "Mileage". Please make that a note in next vids.
Thats warrior II on description, not 11
it is 11 because has 11" wheels
But you see, scooter shown in a video is different than in your link!
The price please ,How much?
Do not buy gearbest is very bad company. It took me 4 months and a half to send me a Xiaomi Mijia m365 and I arrived with the whole case broken and did not take responsibility after having paid travel insurance. They forgot about me and did not want to help me, so today I buy much better on Aliexpress and they are always there to help you or refund your money for any problems you have with your order. Great video, thanks mate.
Well this is not from gearbest, it's from Aliexpress :) I've added a link from where to get it in the video description.
It seems wholesalers are not selling Dualtrons anymore and selling this and something called UGBO. No idea how they compare with Dualtrons
@@TechTronic9000 are the wheels also from Thunder? Tubless pneumatics and wheel rim detachable from the hub motor?
What is actual mileage to the scooter ????
About 60 km maybe 80 km depending on ride speed and load
how much?
Around 2500$, depends on your location as that price includes also shipping and import tax ;)
Can i make the front higher ?
No, it's not adjustable.
@@TechTronic9000 so what is youre height. It good for person 185-195cm? And can you change tyres easily?
WOW cool escooter !
Thanks for watching!
nice scoot, how many miles to a gallon?
It's full electric, the noise is from the mud tires, range varies from 40 to 80+ km, depending on the speed, weight, temperature, etc.
@@TechTronic9000 hehe i was just fuckin with ya. legendary scooter tho for real
Heyhey
May be its a fun question but, is it water resistant?
the manual for mine says keep it out of water and for sure not to submerge it in water.
Also, "I'm not going to work today, because it's raining" may not work with every employer ;)
No it's not fully waterproof, starting with the Dualtron EY3 trigger which is not OK. The body with controllers and battery can be made waterproof with some silicone ;)
I like minimotors usa Dualtron x insane solid very nice very strong
But 3 times more expensive than this one.
im gonna take a loan out for the thunder, that one is legit... gimme a couple months
The thunder is way overpriced!
@@TechTronic9000 Hey I'm getting new into scooters I have an equal Rico El 5 but why is the thunder overpriced and you please explain thanks
Please review other Kaabo scooters.
I currently don't plan that.
Whats that noise it makes? Isn’t it electric?
The mud tyres, they make it sound as it has a motor. With slick tires it makes almost no noise.
And from where I can order it?
I have added a link for it in my video description.
