The stock market went insane today as Meta got demolished from their earnings report! Their numbers were actually pretty good, but their outlook disappointed investors. Plus, the stock is extremely high at the moment. This is bleeding into other parts of the market and will present some great trading opportunities tomorrow. Yeah, I agree that it doesn’t make much sense on the surface. One somewhat rational explanation is the guidance. It seems that guidance now is more important than actual numbers. Musk was smart to say that they’re now AI company.
It’s possible that good numbers for Meta and bad numbers for Tesla were already priced in, even in excess of the official expectations. But yeah, we can’t forget that market makers have access to all our orders, and at least some of them have connections to the biggest money managing institutions, so they can create a strategy to enrich themselves at the expense of the ones on the outside
META was too fukkn high to begin with.
Meta is crap thays carried by the govt for the purpose of monitoring and populating everyone's personal data archive. It's just another tiktok for the US spy network instead of China. It needs to expire or go the way of MySpace.

Let her rip. Hope some of you got META puts. Not surprise It dropped. Wish I got more than a few. Glad I got out of my TSLA puts yesterday. I would not be surprised to see it headed lower the next 2 days. TSLA will drop. The numbers are horrible.
You and I are in the same boat. I had so much conviction with $TSLA but elon had to say the buzz words to pump the stock in typical fashion.
I didn’t expect meta yo dump this hard and wish I picked up more options but I got my losses from TSLA back. Inverse market. Worst tesla earnings and tesla pumps 10%, Meta beats but sinks 15%.
