They promoting it bcoz they need to be fully accepted and respect by people not bcoz of who they are. But some see it like they are promoting their sexualty. Some when accepted, they abuse the acceptance of some people. In my opinion this should not be promoted. We should promote being good example to the children in kindness regardless of sexuality. I am bi from philippines here.

So everyone should become financially and socially independent and strive for financial and social stability on top of being who they are, ie., being yourself. So that you don't need a second or third party for security for you're content yourself. Can this be the/a solution?

Is it wrong yes or no... what is the correct answer does this work negativity against our spiritual body mind and soul. Does being attracted to same sex void you from spiritual building or something on lines of salvation into the next life realm dimensions etc. Does it hurt our spiritual body's . Sadguru you can't answer this.
If there were negative spiritual impact, he would’ve said so already. So there must not be. He doesn’t want them persecuted, but he also doesn’t like them widespread. That’s his personal view. It’s interesting, the Dalai Lama doesn’t like homosexuality either.

Okay, so here’s the deal… this guy is speaking from a place of separation. I don’t say that to be critical, it’s just what I’ve observed here. That separation stems from something deeper in him. I neither care, nor will attempt to identify what that place entails, good or bad. What I will say is that this is an important conversation, maybe the most important conversation that we can have. Currently, there are men (and women) being killed, tortured, and imprisoned all over the world for daring to wear his/her authentic sexual nature in regards to other men or other women. For those of you who wouldn’t like me promoting my homosexuality, this is for you…
Sex itself needs to be removed from the concept of sexuality when it comes to discussions like this; homosexuality is not purely an act of sexuality (nor heterosexuality), and we’re using a term that describes one part of it to examine the whole. If you are a heterosexual male, your heterosexuality is not sized up by the activity in your libido, or the nature of your push and pull, yin/yang, but largely, by the intricate expressions of your heart. There is most certainly a sociological context for this question, but social parameters are not where it was born; there would be no question of precluding or promoting homosexuality if the individual in question found it to be as natural as heterosexuality. No one would have ever posed it in the first place (kind of like how you would never hear someone ask about the ethics of promoting heterosexuality, unless they were against it). There is an error in man here. Examine yourself, your ego and it’s threads. You’re holding on to a feeling, you’re holding on to a practice, a belief, a point of view, a life that is none of them. You’re holding on to a closure that’s not truly closed-you wouldn’t beg the question otherwise; and these constituent restrictions are the summation of a larger obscurity. It has blinded you because a part of you has disavowed its answer in a higher knowledge; perhaps a person is not ready for it. For that person, this obscurity is larger than his choosing to nurture a capacity that will solve through it. Homosexuality and heterosexuality exist in every human being. Male and female exist in every human being. Masculinity and femininity exist in every human being. Your ego has sought to experience within the avenue of cosmic endowment a “sculpture” of a man, of a being that the soul can marvel at-but if it’s wrong, then it corrupts the man’s god given talent for disillusionment after he already had to forget it in the first place. This is happening collectively. This is how we arrive at our current state of evolution in consciousness, and why people collectively always seem to find it so hard to catch up to a higher truth that people in a future time will look back on and say, “man, I can’t believe so many people can get it so wrong all at the same time”.
Get a life. No one read the book you just wrote. You haven't been appointed judge and jury of the world nor is the whole world and its various cultures yours to change or arbitrate on. Mind the business that is yours only.

Its not about promotion. It is about fighting for equal rights. Can a homosexual couple roam around just like a heterosexual couple? we all know that it is not the same. they are not even allowed to marry. It is easy to say keep it to yourself when you are a heterosexual.

I think people are not getting it right as he said it in a soft way, not to hurt or rebel people. He says you can do whatever you want to do but there will be karmic consequences when someone does something unnatural.

Major LGBTQ organisations like GLAAD, It Gets Better and other similar bodies are working - not campaigning - TO SPREAD AWARENESS FOR ACCEPTANCE AND END DISCRIMINATION OF LGBTQ's. EVERYWHERE.
That's all there is to it.
Celebrities, Politicians and other Influential People support us because they found Awareness in ending Discrimination like every other Minority that has been Discriminated since Ages Past and we Thank them for that.
But that alone will not Solve the Issue.
RAISING HUMAN CONSCIOUSNESS will; and that is Something Kyabje has always tried again and again to drive it into us for those who are willing to LISTEN.
The reason why Kyabje states that it is not necessary to promote Homosexuality is NOT because it is not Important but it has never been an Issue at all.
They do what is NEEDED; if people will at least leave them at Peace and not deny them their Basic Human Needs only because of their Sexual Nature then GLAAD and It Gets Better wouldn't have needed to be formed at all. But here we are.

Homosexuals do not damage their body, they damage their spirit. The creator designed man and woman for a reason. Man and woman marrying and raising children is by far the best situation and should not be taken lightly.

to marriage, the voice of God is conspicious by its absence.
Sometimes, God intends for two people to marry prophetically, but he
timing is not right. There they have to wait for God's perfect timing
before the ceremony. Some men when they see a woman they know
immediately that it is their wife. It could be the case of some women

marriage. God can give you all the input so the you can make the proper
