On most digital cameras, there is custom white balance feature that lets you pick the color temperature by sighting or photographing a white card. If you get the color balace right in camera, it saves you time in post processing of you let your editing software do its job. Mixed light sources can drive you nuts when looking for the correct color temp.
For youtube videos? Like webcam gaming if so probably something like a6000 or something similar to it light,easy to use and around 400 or less on used market also just make sure you can get a dummy battery for it

What sub $400 camera would you recommend for streaming/videos?

That would only be for the camera, you also need to get a lens which will cost more
@@arthbatra1646 yep, that’s fine, I only need the body for now, I already have a few lenses for older models but it’s the same mount
get the a6100.. the a6000 is quite ancient 😅
