Crispy Carne Frita in the Airfryer - Easy Puerto Rican Recipes

We're back with a modern and healthy twist to a Puerto Rican classic--carne frita. Do you own an airfryer? Are you sometimes wondering what you can use it for? Carne frita in the airfryer is amazing! Super crispy and the best part you skip all of the oil clean up and feel much better about taking that extra piece! There will be no leftovers!
Ingredients:
2 lbs pork butt
1 tbs fresh oregano, chopped
4 cloves of garlic, chopped
4 tbs adobo
1 tsp salt
8 cups water

This recipe was outstanding! Better than the Carne Frita I had in PR. Verified by entire PR Church group. I made one change... I finished in my Convection Oven "Giant Air Fryer"! Placed Carne on parchment and heated till crispy on one side turned each chunk and finished. Delicioso and I'm a Gringo. Oh ... I made a Roasted Garlic Mayo for dipping. 😛

Amazing video. I am an old timer cook. i just learn something that will change my carne frita. i always fried mine and it has no flavor but salty. you technique ensure that the seasoning is not lost. old dogs do learn new trick. Thank you.
