ABOUT TODAYS VIDEO: Pumpkin Seeds For Dogs
When the warmer months arrive, so do worms and it's time to keep a cursory check on your dogs stools and body condition.
The vital part of all this is if you suspect worms and need to treat your dog, not to use the conventional de-worming drugs as they're synthetic toxic poisons with potentially deadly side effects.
There's a safe natural tincture you can add to your dogs food to clear all worms, and I'll leave a link to a video explaining more about dog worm symptoms and how to cure worms in dogs in the description below.
Today I want to share with you a natural anti parasitic seed derived from pumpkins and used by native American tribes for healing wounds, curing urinary problems, kidney ailments and as a parasite treatment.
So what type of worms are we dealing with?
There are generally four types of internal worms dogs can become infected with and these are:
    • Roundworms
    • Hookworms
    • Tapeworms
    • Whipworms
Signs of worms in your dog include, scooting, anal licking, rice grains in stools, sesame seeds stuck to anus, wriggly white round worms in stools or small globs of brown mucus and small flat segments of tapeworms in stools with possible vomiting and diarrhea.
    Dog Worms and Pumpkin Seeds
Get pumpkin seeds in raw organic form for best dog worm prevention with a variety of worms and other parasites such as Giardia.
Pumpkin seeds are an effective dewormer for dogs, containing the amino acid, cucurbitin that paralyzes and expels worms from your dogs digestive tract. This dog worms natural remedy also contains, protein, fiber, amino acids, folic acid and niacin with minerals, iron, copper, selenium, magnesium, calcium, zinc and potassium which means treating dog worms naturally can also mean extra nutritional benefits.
For feeding directions I recommend raw organic pumpkin seeds with nothing added and crushed, ground or blended and added to meals.
Give a quarter teaspoon per 10lbs of your dog weight twice daily for one month to ensure worm eradication.

I love your videos! I just found you on youtube and subscribed. I do all my own dog food for the past 4 years. I make a big batch, put in containers, and freeze it. They have about 2 months worth at a time. I literally bought a freezer for my dog's food. Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge with us. It is very important to feed my dogs the very best that I can afford and love any add-ins to help their health.

Hi Dan, i give you my personal (working well) homemade dog treats recipe. 3 can tuna in spring water (or brine) mix with 2 eggs , 2 spoon of your "Golden paste" 1 spoon chia seeds one spoon oats, one spoon grinded Pumpkin seeds 1 spoon grated cheese (for flavour) 1 cup wholemeal flour. Mix well and spread on baking tray , bake for 30 minutes on 200* take out and cut in square pieces (i use pizza cutter) put back in the oven for another 10-15 minutes. My dog loves it and his stomach problem and diarrhea has gone

Found this when looking up dosage & processing details. I really appreciate your comprehensive content.
I'm curious about raw vs sprouted though, as I personally eat soaked nuts, beans, seeds, etc. I will look up the specifics you noted, but am wondering if there is more you could clarify about that.

    • @DanScott1
      @DanScott1  11 месяцев назад +1

Sprouted nuts and seeds are easier to digest than raw nuts and seeds because the soaking process releases their enzyme inhibitors. Sprouting allows your body to absorb the nutrients better. When you sprout nuts it breaks down their phytic acid, which binds with minerals preventing absorption.

Thank you for this video. I came across this video while surfing about my 11yrs kid. He had ascites last Yr and his stomach isn't going back to its normal size. He is given soft diet and Vetpro (dog food available in India), boiled vegetables with lil. Rice, chicken. We have changed over 5 vets. Just feels uneasy. I will try this for sure. Hopefully. My kids stomach goes back to its normal size.

Yes, low sodium diet helps. Has the dog been on Apoquel? That is one cause. Look towards a more fresh food diet as much as possible. Add eggs too and less carbs like the rice.
The other thing you can test isd neem bark powder. You know all those neem trees around you, the bark is an amzing general healer for many health issues and worms. Get some pre-crushed to powder or make your own and give 1/4tsp daily for 14 days and let me know if it helped.

    • @DanScott1
      @DanScott1  15 дней назад +1

Keep an eye on the stools for any signs of life, jelly bits, purple jelly blobs, rice grains, any sesame seed bits stuck around anus, any small flat broken bits in stool.. that sort of thing.
Pumpkin seeds for a month, that's good. Any anti worm application works over a month as that's the worms lifecycle. If you discover worms use this: Black Walnut, Clove & Wormwood Extract: amzn.to/2S8paBE
I made a video all about deworming with it.

I forgot to mention that they are organic raw sprouted pumpkin seeds at Costco. If your dog gulps down food like mine, you would need to ground them up, otherwise they come out whole which means he isn’t getting any nutrients from them.

I have managed to help my rescue Cavalier. I have only had him six weeks. He was in a terrible state. He had pancreatitis dry eye chronic ear infection and sore paws. I put him on a diet of white fish sweet potato green beans spinach blueberries egg whites and he is a different dog. I have just introduced 5% fat steak mince as fish doesn't fill him up. Can I feed him liver and other offal. Nervous because of his pancreatitis before. He has been scooting a bit so will try some pumpkin seeds. He has syringomyelia not too bad but does do some trembling sometimes and seems worse in certain weather or if gets wet. I have refused vaccine castration and worming which the vet recommended. He is 9 with a grade 1 murmur. Want to give him his best life after such chronic neglect.

    • @DanScott1

Yes liver and offal are the vitamin and minerals for dogs. Well done for NOT doing what the vet said. All 3 are BAD for dog health. Use soil base probiotics: amzn.to/3yoURqU
Healthy raw fats are ok, he probably suffered some bad cooked fats/added fats for the pancreatitis.

    • @DanScott1
      @DanScott1  2 года назад

It's funny, the vet will happily administer their poison to deworm pups but i'm reticent about treating such young pups even with natural meams. 8 weeks is my minimum, can they wait? Then it's 1 drop daily for 14 days, stop 7 days, then again for 14 days and finished.
They won't even be on hard food till at least 5-6 weeks, then you could give a little fine crushed pumpkin seeds which help expel worms.

You mean the Black Walnut, Clove & Wormwood Extract: amzn.to/2S8paBE
If so, no need for pumkin seeds.
And please get the dog OFF Apoquel!
Ween the dog off this drug and go the route of fresh foods in the diet to fix up the skin/itch/yeast etc issues. This stuff has shut off the immune system, that's the trick of this drug. Long term, no immune system.. I think you can guess the health issues that will get out of control. And give zero vaxx too, more auto immune issues than ever with these.
If you feed kibble, the best thing to do first is remove 50% of the kibble from the bowl and replace with raw eggs (preferably organic), canned sardines (in plain water with skin & bone intact: 12 Pack Sardines - amzn.to/3vaXrj6), some part cooked and blended veggies like broccoli, kale, green beans, spinach, brussel sprouts, bok choy etc and some meat proteins such as chicken meat, even better.
If not liking to prepare vegetables then these freeze dried greens are antioxidant packed to help protect cells from free radical damage, cellular repair, support immunity, joints, skin issues, heart and eye health: Core Immune CARE Greens: shrsl.com/3uv18
Now your dogs getting live enzymes, probiotics, Omega 3 oils, the highest quality proteins and nutritional assimilation from eggs (100%), and antioxidants, minerals and vitamins from vegetables.
Always add a quality probiotic to improve digestion and gut health: (skin issues/yeast/itchy dogs) use this one: amzn.to/3yoURqU and for all other dogs use this one: shrsl.com/3uv7l
If you want an excellent, VERY low carbohydrate kibble at just 5%, (high carbohydrates cause chronic inflammation, with itchy skin, yeast, poor gut health, ear infection, UTI's and hot spots, and nearly all kibbles are 40+% carbs!).
Ketona has high protein at 47% (dogs thrive on proteins), correct fats at 15% and natural additives, so have a look at Ketona Kibble: healthydogforlife.com/KetonaKibble. I recommend still adding the fresh foods even with the best kibble.
By introducing fresh foods, really lowering carbs use, introducing greens, omega 3's, proteins and a better more suitable kibble, your dog will respond with healing and improved health over the next 12 weeks.

What weight is she? (scale under pinned comment)
Just give the black walnut, clove tincture as discussed in that dog worm video: Black Walnut, Clove & Wormwood Extract: amzn.to/2S8paBE
The procedure is X drops added to meals once daily for 14 days, stop 7 days then once again for 14 days and finished, all worms/eggs/juveniles gone.

    • @DanScott1

I recommend raw organic pumpkin seeds with nothing added and crushed, ground or blended and added to meals.
Give a quarter teaspoon per 10lbs of your dog weight twice daily for one month to ensure worm eradication.

Can pumpkin seed or pumpkin fruit help his problems? I dont want to go to the vet because they dont do well here in the country i'm in. Right now i'm force feeding him and just giving him hydration to avoid dehydration.

Fresh garlic is best. Fine chop, let sit for 15 mins then add to food at:
      5lbs: 1/6 tsp
      10lbs: 1/3tsp
      15 lbs: 1/2 tsp
      20lbs: 2/3 tsp
      30 lbs: 1 tsp
This will expel worms. Give for 2 weeks straight, then twice per week.
For the diet generally, eggs, meat, canned sardines, cooked and mashed veggies.
