He is around 95lbs. I am picking up pumpkin seeds & turmeric today. I have only been giving him apple cider vinegar for 2 days so far. He is a senior dog I noticed he was not himself & acting sluggish last week & when I took him potty I found out why? Little worms in poop about a quarter inch or less in length. I think it's tape worms.

Pumpkin seed?... I've come across organic raw and just pumpkin seed. Which do I use?

How many turmeric polls would I need to give 2 95lb and 115lb dogs? I have 500 mg at home. And could I give it daily? Or are these three things just till worms are gone? I use to put Acv in their water but both didn't think much water. So I stopped.🤷♀️😥

Used a syringe, i used 1tsp of vinegar and 1tsp water and he actually swallowed well.
also be aware that fleas are the #1 way your dogs get tapeworms. Fleas, it only takes 1, carry the eggs from biting an infected dog and when your dog grooms himself and flea bites to deflea, he then may swallow the infected flea which is apart of the tape worm process of breeding and surviving, using your dog as the host and he now has tapeworm. So those nasty things infect the flea, the flea is. then swallowed and the eggs will then hatch in the dogs intestines. Im dealing with this now and it is so disgusting!! I do my best to keep fleas away but nothing is perfect. My poor pup, so now we are going to buy dewormer. They can get tapeworm from other dogs but they more than likely got it from ingesting a flea.
I add it to their food and cover with bacon grease, other wise they won't drink it in their water.

you can get those blunt syringes used for medicine with babies and animals and squirt it into the back of their mouth. make sure to dilute it.

I'm freaking out because they say the tapeworms shells are still active. I just want to throw away my whole room. Should I worry the tapeworms are floating in the air. I'm a new puppy mom
I feel the same way... I just feel it's everywhere now in my house.. it's been months and I have to keep giving these oral meds every 15/20 days and the deworming injection/shot worked only for a month.. Freaking out as I have a young child also at home

Just clean the bedding and all the things you can clean while giving them dewormer

for my 6lb dog I give 1/2 cap of Braggs acv per day and 1/2 teaspoon raw crushed pumpkin seeds twice a day. all mixed with food. got rid of tapeworms in 2 weeks.
How does a veterinarian find out what type of worms they are?
From my experience a vet sticks a swab through your dogs rear & looks under a microscope for indication of parasites and/or rely on your explanation of what's going on with your dog!

You would need to take a fresh stool sample of your pet to the vet so he can test it.
You don't need to know which type of worm are infestating your dog you just need a large spectrum drug that will kill all species I think the best 1 is albindazol family the second are ivermectin or you give him a combo of 3 substance to kill all species you need to do it twice to kill eggs after 15 days from first time ivermectin are also good against external parasite but they can't kill all worms species .the veterinarian he will tray to find eggs with his microscope or find small worms it is not easy but practice helps

Same here! I been taking him to the vet and meds more meds and hes still getting them and im so tired of giving his meds cause i feel like he can get sick 😷 and thats more money being gone and him not getting any healthy

@@justicebruno5249 yes not kibble but something moist. Do not mix the diatomaceous earth. Sit it on top or to the side. It has to be dry to kill the worms.
