From your editor friend Tod, this was one of your best videos. The juxtaposition and dual story-line, the feelings, the drama of being alone, the friggin' bank (we're with Chase too and I want to go there and slap somebody for Jason), the frustration of the greedy jet ski rental guys, dangerous amateurs on jet skis, compelling music, just the whole thing. The sunset fadeout. Well shot and well told. Of course I am a true fan but as a former pro editor in Hollywood, well done.
Wow - I remember the time when Jason left and Nikki was all alone in RV... it was a terrific episode. This one was even better! A real, complex story with all kinds of twists, turns and Nikki being the total boss. I loved it...keep it up you two!
I totally get this statement but my first thought was, why wouldn't she be able to? I love travelling the world over by myself. It is liberating, so I get what you mean, but I also think, why do we woman still have these thoughts? I think in general, women are still attached to men for their support...not financially, but emotionally, as if being with a man gives us confidence because they are there to back us up. I'm talking as an American married woman. I know I'm not explaining myself well enough and I'm sure I will get flack, so to everyone, Of course I realize women are capable, intelligent beings, I am one. Oh, @Natalie Smith, this isn't specifically directed toward you, just a random thought that popped in my head and didn't know where else to put it. Cheers.
I become instantly happy when there's a new Wynn video. I appreciate that you keep things based in the reality of your lives and lifestyle. I hope all of your hard work and preparation pay off on your next grand adventure.
I have to admit, as a guy who actually sails when I first ran across your channel I thought "Oh these greenhorns are gonna get swamped, run aground or get a head backed up and beg to be towed back to land in 3 episodes or less" Now I think your amazingly tough, resilient, informative and far better sailors than I am. I have learned a lot and been very inspired by you. If you ever run across a 240lb bearded grizzled bouncer looking type on his knees bowing down in respect at a marina , that will be me.
Nik & Jason, I like you guys a lot and have been impressed by many things you two have experienced and accomplished. Nikki, your ability to keep you cool during the jet ski thing, especially after experiencing damage to your boat, was out-freaking-standing. I would have had a completely different reaction. You...enjoying editing your next vid on the new computer Jason bought in Dallas. Me... potentially sitting in an Ecuadorian jail; perhaps sitting in there for a very long time. Great headwork on your part. A little damage to the boat is nothing compared to your freedom. Retired US Marine.
I have received so much enjoyment following your adventures! Your videos are such a great mix of sight-seeing, sailing, beautiful views (both above and below the water), boat repairs and sailing/navigation, and your life on-board and with friends. So impressed with your determination and skills to perform needed maintenance on the boat in this video and happy to hear that Jason seems to have those other issues taken care of. Happy and safe sailing to you both and looking forward to the next video!
I'm a casual viewer of your channel so I don't know if I've missed something, but the production quality of this episode was next level! Also, screw the a holes on the jet skis.
find out where they got that skijet where they store it.. im sure its under heavy security too . nut im willing to bet i can end the miseryof the skijet
Or set up a catapult on your boat, launch a few boulders at their shop at night, and then take a page out of their book and drive away before they can do anything about it.
I can totally understand your anger at the jet ski riders and vendor. That is just plain low down. I cannot stand people that will not respect the rights and property of others. No respect. Glad it was not serious damage but that is just wrong. Glad the banking issues got resolved. What a pain.
@@gertraba4484 Shooting can get you in really deep trouble,, so that is no-go. But you could begin to prepare for fishing using a net. One need to mark the area in which you are fishing - but those landlubbers don't know what it means, so you are on the right side of the law because you're doing it correctly. Just remember to be prepared for the sailboat to rotate a bit then the jet ski crashes into the net - while the users of the jet ski continues as low flying jet plane.
So sorry that happened to your boat. The way you two take care of her and the tireless efforts you put into keeping her as perfect as anybody could expect, serves to set up anybody who harms that boat a solid dose of Karma. It really ticked me off but I’m glad the damage wasn’t bad. Hang in there.
Cool Cool a first again.. That ending sunset was just the bomb, I hope you show your finished windows in the next video, you are so lucky Jason to have such a skilled partner (Nikki). Cheers Guys
Great video! Maya and I were fortunate to meet Jason when he returned to Dallas. Thank you Jason for taking the time to entertain your patrons. As a result, we connected with other patrons who enjoy alternative living as well.
I'm so happy I came across your Key West video. While I know it's older it inspired me to go and I had an amazing time. You have inspired me to travel. I've now been to Bali and I'm planning my next trip soon. I've been watching your videos ever since and I absolutely love them. Thank you for giving us a glimpse into your lives it's amazing.
Hey there, I have a bit of a caulking tip. I like to use a wood paint brush handle for tooling. The problem with metal or plastic is the soapy water will bead off the surface and the caulk will stick to where it isn't wet. Wood on the other hand, is porous and will stay saturated. Also a spray bottle is a great help :)
Yeah, no. It's absolutely acceptable to use soapy water, and it's not rule one of any pros I've worked with. 15 years doing exterior tower maintenance, I've done miles and miles of urethane caulk in one of the rainiest places in NA without a call back. Basically you're full of shit.
Love dawn dish soap! & isopropyl alcohol. Those two together work wonders. But if your a waterproofer in Florida and the contractor catches you, not good.
Big respect to both of you - you are both amazing taking care of so many things making it look so simple on camera, but in reality it is hard work and so much hassle. Keep your adventurous spirit up and God Bless 🙏 looking forward to seeing both together very soon!
My first cup of coffee watching Gone with the Wynns. I thought the window sealer looks fine. We tried the mask and flippers, 1st time ever it felt weird. Wow the caffeine kick in when they hit the boat, glad no one got hurt. The trouble with trouble is it starts out as fun.
I’m playing catch up with your videos obviously... Its so surreal seeing Jason in Dallas (DFW airport etc) being a native Dallasite myself. I would have enjoyed the opportunity to meet and say hello and thank you but alas about 2 years too late😂 Thank you both for producing these videos and sharing them. They are very inspiring and help to fuel my own dreams of setting off and sailing the world as I watch your adventures I’m while working. Great job finishing the window project Nikki😎👌🏽 You guys are great! Fair wind and following seas!
OMG!! Can't tell you how much we enjoyed seeing the kitties in this episode. (Kind of cool seeing ourselves in it as well. Hehe) We are watching you from our motorhome by the Illinois river waiting to go to Starved Rock. Glad you guys decided to splurge and get Jason back sooner. I'm sure it was an emotional reunion. Thanks as always for sharing!
its the same the world over nikki , had a jet ski run into the family wakeboard boat , the kid just lost control and jumped off !!! turns out he was under age so the family were more than willing to pay the damages without involving the law, we now carry a paintball gun (they just sting )its a mazing how fast the word gets out and they stay away on a happier note i got a chance to watch a few episodes on a huge HD tv and wow just wow superb quality so impressed love the adventure
callum duncan a very good idea, and I hear getting hit by one stings a bit,so showing the paint ball gun before they get too close might work to make them stay away, even so if you stayed moored in the same area your just a target for them to come after,if Jason was there they wouldn't have pulled that stunt!
I can see it now. Sir your jet ski hit my boat! How do you know? I know because I shot it up with my paint gun which you can clearly see the paint as well the damage from hitting my boat. You don't know that the paint came from your gun, everyone is shooting these jetskis now!
I like the fact that you carry a paintball gun, I know many won't agree but I would aim for their eyes or at least the facial area of those ignorant asses. Whenever one goes south of the U.S. border into Mexico & South America the ignorance level of the population rises dramatically and one always has to be on the lookout for these yahoo's.
44wizbang The ignorance level is no better up in the states. Many, many jet ski drivers are just plain asses, regardless of their geographical position (hopefully you weren’t just being racist).
You always help make my Sunday's. I appreciate the fact that you share this journey with us. You take us places I will never go. So thank you for that. So sorry that those stupid people did that to the boat. Some people just don't care. They will get their just rewards. So glad that you and the furbabies were not hurt. Stay safe and happy sailing.
Liked before watched! Is this the first time you and Jason have been separated for a few nights while on the boat? You must have felt somewhat uneasy being in a foreign country alone. I love that you managed some boat maintenance solo in the interim:) Another great vlog!!
If I was to make a suggestion for your next set of windows is to get a small plastic spatula rather than a spoon. If by some chance you can’t find one grab some ice cream (in a plastic container) and once finished cut apart the container and use it as a spatula. I know it sucks having to buy ice cream, having to eat it just to make a tool but it’s for a good cause. It’s all about the windows! Great video by the way. Love watching them.
I like the boat repair segments, and I like the cats. I adore Nikki's ice cream fixation. It is sad to see you two apart, but it is nice to see Jason's mom. :-)
I love y’alls work ethic. I love y’alls positivity. And I even admit my type A-OCD tendencies are calmed with you’re organizational skills, the cleanliness and the decor of the catamaran. 🤗
Awesome, I was just watching your top three RV episode when this came in. Had to finish that one and now I’m going straight into this this! Happy Sunday.
Smooth the caulk with an ice cube. It is easy with no cleanup and works like magic. Use your mom's address. Your cable clamps on that wire rope (cable) at 18:00 are on backward. The U bolt part goes on the dead end of the cable (Never saddle a dead horse). The U part, when tightened, will distort and possibly damage the cable. That damage or distortion should not be on the load-bearing part of the rope. If the clamps are or get a little loose the part clamped in the saddle can slip, that slippage with correctly connected clamps will tighten the cable "eye" rather than pull the "eye out and release the rope. Out at sea in a storm might not be a good time to discover the wire rope came apart.
That is really good advice, I have seen similar where the load cable has bird caged due to the distortion of the clamp being fitted incorrectly. Ideally in a an assembly where cable tension adjustment can be accomplished by a turnbuckle, these type of clamps should not be used, swaging fittings are more appropriate.
Irresponsible and/or drunk drivers make me very nervous. Especially when I'm towing my kids on a tube or whatever. I tell them that when they fall off to watch for other water craft and to wave their arms in the air to help make them more visible. I agree though, in general, the jet skiers are the worse behaved.
Its the same here in Australia, luckily they usually hug the coast so if you go about a kilometre from shore they are OK. We had some particularly nasty ones that were travelling at high speed close to swimmers (including me), My wife took videos and confronted them and got really harassed. (Whilst I was blissfully unaware as I was out sailing), S o the videos went to the local police and as we have strict laws regarding these things, they got spoken to by the constabulary. :)
Sam. We dive/spear fish on the lakes in Arkansas and they run right over the top of our divers even when the dive flags are out. I don’t think they even know what a dive flag is. I think you should have to be licensed and pass a test to even drive one of those things.
Hi guys. Just a tip with the silicone. Either way works just try both. Spray the soapy water on the silicone and either use the spoon but found my finger works best to press the silicone into the gaps and has a clean finish and shape. Cheers.
I hate people who have no respect for other peoples property. Glad it wasnt serious damage and hope jason got back with no further delays. Great video. Looking forward to the next one as always.
FYI - I called your bank in Dallas and asked them to compensate you for your travel expenses. If all your subscribers did this, they might realize they pulled a major P.R. blunder. There is power in numbers.
mob mentality. sick and tired of people ganging up on businesses and coercing them to get a desired outcome, all because someone posts a grievance on social media. that is NOT how you handle things. shame.
It’s always fun to learn how to do something by doing it! Windows look good! I think we were all hoping for the return of the red swimsuit for bottom cleaning! Love the channel!
Niki you did good without Jason, but I know you missed him. Dang people hitting your boat! Ugh!! Can't believe they have the whole ocean and go as close as they can to the boats, that would have drove me crazy. Good seeing your face as always! Poor Jason and the bank mess. His mom's so sweet. Love you guys🌹🌹🍧
I'd suggest giving them 5 horn blasts to let them know you don't like what they're doing but those idiots probably wouldn't know what it meant or even care.
Like I said, earlier. You did a great job on the windows. You clearly aren't afraid of work in addition you cook, clean, fish, golly you are a busy woman. I think boat life agrees with you!
Ha! Nikki hard at work whilst Jason off partying it up. Some things never change ;) Oh, yeah, in that vein Nikki and ice cream, what was that like EVERY day at the Coco Cream place??? Yikes, different country different rules and laws. Be safe!
Hi fellow Texans! I didn’t realize you guys were from the same stomping ground as we are! We are Flower Mound-ians!?! Gosh I miss Best Buy. And hey we also had the address problem; we use a UPS “box” and it has worked fine (so far); our two oldest just got their Drivers permits and were able to use this address (it’s not a “PO” box but an actual address with “suite” or “apt.”) We aren’t really known for following the rules anyway 😬😏 Love your channel! Renee ⛵️
@@gonewiththewynns should have used a silicone spoon to spread the sealer, goes on good and leaves a qwik clean up and next time use a primer to seal the glass and cat surface for better/longer sealer adhesion
Jet skiers make ideal targets for paint ball guns! Failing that tie a piece of floating line from the boat to a buoy 30ft from each side of the boat, fastened with fishing line. Jet ski goes over the line, line gets sucked into the jet, stops the jet-ski dead, rider flies over the handle bars. If anyone asks, you were doing work on the hull of the boat and it was clearly marked with buoys. Tried and tested method. Tip 2, get yourself a glass lifting sucker to use when cleaning the hull. Clean a patch then suck the handle onto the clean bit, now you can hang on with one hand while cleaning. Saves so much swimming against the boat. Tip 3 when working with silicon sika or any of those messy adhesives use the cut edge of a potato to smooth off the excess. It won't stick to the potato and you can cut the potato to any shape. Great video all the best "Justbellavista"
Not sure if you read new comments on the old videos, but I have a window suggestion that MIGHT solve your persistent window leakage problems. I noticed in a recent video (2021) that you were caulking again (your most recent video? I'll cross-post this comment there too). Try 3M VHB 5952 tape. This stuff is inexpensive, and comes in 15 yard rolls, various widths (I find 3/4 inch fairly universal). It is used for all sorts of things, such as siding on busses, signage, trailers for 18 wheelers, hanging glass on skyscrapers, and anything where you need a STRONG weatherproof bond. I've used half a roll in three years just on various projects, and highly recommend it. You night also get a can of the VHB surface primer to pre-treat surfaces for the best bond. I haven't needed to use it, but there can be a handful of difficult surfaces that it addresses. See the 3M VHB website for info on that and what to use it on. No, I don't work for 3M or sell their stuff, I just find the stuff so freaking useful.
Absolutely f.a.b.u.l.o.u.s. 'on-your-own' vlog, Nikki. Loved the Jason segments and the meet-up, yet all the chores you tackled is impressive !! 😊✨🥂👍👌👊✨⛵️⚓️🚣✨🔨🔩🔧✅
A tip for the windows.... Try using one of your scrapers to leave a nice and clean, flush finish with the sealant between the plexiglass and the body of the boat. It would make it a lot easier then using a spoon, that's for sure. Also, this is my first comment to any of your vids. Absolutely hooked! Started watching a few months ago and pretty much binge watched them all! My girlfriend and I both... We live in Phx, Az. Although I am Dutch, born in Amsterdam, lived in Monte Carlo, South of France, Marbella in Spain for 7 years, England for almost 6. When I lived in Spain, my family had a Southerly 115 swing keel sailboat and we used to sail to Gibraltar on occasion. Ever since then I have dreamed about sailing the world myself and since watching you two, the dream is now even stronger than ever and something I am aiming to do for sure. Just gotta buckle down and make the dream happen now.... Thanks for sharing your adventures, you two are great fun to watch and always look forward to your videos. I wish you both the best and will continue to comment and follow you as you go... Safe travels, sorry the jetski fools hit the boat. At least the damage wasn't too bad... Hope Jason doesn't flip out too bad, even though it's not your fault. Happy sailing and exploring and hopefully one day when I finally get back on the water again we may cross paths somewhere. Much love to you both, Tom
I had an episode with Jet-ski Tossers a few years back. A twat with a Girl on the back kept coming almost alongside at full speed. On His 3rd approach I stood up, Bollock naked, She had a damn good Look. They never came back..
I like Nikki’s style... the project is not done until everything is put away. But I might have to warn Jason, I think Nikki is having an affair with the Coco Express man 🙃
Wow Nikki, you are such a beautiful woman in so many ways. Stylish, chef, laborer, fantasic. I see Jason has a beautiful mom. He is a lucky guy and not at all homophobic traveling with a leopard skinned neck pillow ! LOLOL Keep up the great vids and get that hull cleaned, hire someone !
Beautiful..one of the best sunsets yet!! Very sorry...it's sad people are not held responsible for their poor behaviors!! I hope all scratches/ damage is fixable!! Thank You!! Love all you both provide for us land stuck people to enjoy!! I do!! :-)
Great video. How often do you have to clean the bottom of the boat. Seems like it's at least once a week. Boat chores never end. I don't know if I could keep up with it. Those yahoos on the jet skis are nasty. Beautiful sunset.
But who in the world would try to maintain 7 acres. Yes I do all the above with a push mower(only 1/3 acre) plus take care of a 5 bedroom house with my husband. I am a Master Gardener in Maryland. Walking behind the mower seems so much easier to me than scraping the bottom of a boat. But then hard physical work is why Nicki looks so fantastic.

Well maybe Ivanka then...got some seriously strange growth going on in my bushes she might be familiar with.
I doubt you live on a large lot in the city, probably you live in Mom's basement and wish were Barron and had a dad like Trump who knows how to make money. If Mom does have a large lot that needs mowing then mow it for her yourself stop laying around the house playing with moms computer.
cornskid, I'm sure Ivanka is familiar with trash & strange growth's, she has had to deal with trashy people such as yourself all of her life, hell we all have had to deal with bottom feeders so almost anyone you might ask could help you out.
Another thing you could try when applying the sealant is rather than cut across the applicator tip, cut a v (or bird's mouth) into it; this allows you to run the tip of the applicator along the surface whilst leaving an inverted v-shaped even bead in your wake. Hopefully this also helps the sealant to spread evenly when pressing in the window into place as you have no distinct high spots or differences in amounts keeping the window from bedding properly. I am sure someone else will have commented about this - but is the paint there for UV protection of the sealant; much in the same way you get 'frit' around the edge of car windows, however this is baked on silicone not paint but I don't think perspex would stand up to baking! Having had a similar failure on the windows on my boat (it was not that long ago that the last owner redid them), I was considering cutting some black vinyl to apply to the outside when I do the re-fit.
OneGenericName that would probably get their rocks off and keep doing it faster and closer... they were probably seeing if a male was on board and casing the boat in all honesty.
Jason, I love your mom! She seems super cool! I can see where you got your sense of adventure from. You’re a lucky guy with two strong females in your life.
Hey Guys suggest you try fitting an Ultrasonic Anti-foul system. I fitted one last season as we are in a very lively estuary. It's stopped all live growth, the only thing that now attaches itself to the hull are a few weeds that easily come off.
Sonihull by NRG Marine looks like a winner, here is a very good system to look into. Sonihull also has a shaft production transducer as well as a transducer for stern drives. 1) www.nrgmarine.com/ (main site for Sonihull, there are 21 countries that supply) 2) ruclips.net/channel/UCnPHDmrAthuP15k8cgUyAKg 3) www.pyiinc.com/sonihull/ (USA reseller) 4) ruclips.net/video/JxoEOaaQIm8/видео.html Note #1: A Sonihull is suitable for all single skin GPR, aluminium and Concrete hulls. Foam Core hulls have special installation requirements, please contact Sonihull for details. Note #2: Wood boats will not work due to the low density of wood and the quantity of joints makes for poor acoustic transmission of high frequencies, so making the unit far less effective for this application. Note #3: For a catamaran you would need (2) of the Duo Model, thats 2 packages, each package comes with 2 transducers for each hull. Although the manufacturer recommends on 40ft hulls to 55ft hulls to place 2 transducers on each hull for maximum coverage and results I imagine you could put one transducer on each hull, just depending on the length of the boat, and cost considerations.
Installed Sonic Shield from CMS Marine (Cotswold Microsystems Ltd) based in the UK. I needed the 3 transducer version as we are 42ft. I did not video the installation, but can let you know it took about 3-4 days all in. The hard part is finding routes for the cables, which naturally depends on your boat design. The System cost £1,438 including a remote controller which was useful as it allowed me to install the master unit out of sight. There are cheaper version in the US and Australia but did not want to risk any warrantee problems and the dreaded import charges so went for the UK supplier as that is where we are currently based. It's the first complete season with a fresh cost of antifoul, so far so good.
Windows --> Prep is the key. A nice smooth tape job and a flat edge with no ridges on both sides, cut out the tape on both sides to get the shape you want. Then a 1" wide putty knife is a good starting point. A flat finger on the edges for a final touch up with lots of water when you pull the tapes before it dries. Man I feel so bad for the way I felt about you both when I started watching these videos, Jason was so fruity at first to me, you were so artsy fartsy. Now I 100% admire you both and the love and care you have for each other and the way you treat each other is just so endearing to me now!
Rock on Nikki! Great you got into the dingy and stood your ground. I would have been so pissed. Bunch of idiots for sure. Sorry you had to deal with that
Hi Nikki, Followed you guys from the very start. Love your work :). Im a carpenter and like to think i have a PHD in silicone . All you need is a spray bottle with a small amount of detergent in it, spray that on before you smooth it all out. Makes life a lot easier.
Nikki, you are such a boss! I would be too freaked out to stay on the boat alone 🙈. And I sure wouldn’t have the gumption to do all those chores! Get it girl! I am just curious (you’ve prob answered this before) how much time is between you filming these and posting them? When Jason was in Dallas and it was cold.. I’m thinking the last time it was cold here was March!
Thanks! It was in mid April. Most of the time our videos run about 1-3 months behind depending on connectivity and such. Because we had all this craziness happening before our big crossing, we weren't able to get ahead enough to post videos while at sea. So our one month crossing to French Polynesia, set us back one month further.
Foreign boat in a foreign land. You got lucky, a ski going 50 knots could go right through one hull and half way through the other. They weigh 900 lbs I had a similar thing happen. I wont bore you but it was them or me. Youre love of icecream is legendary and leaves nothing behind. Good job .
And port Authority love jet-ski who run 30+Kn close to shore or boats... I Croatia in this situation call Sea Police or port Authority with VHF. Fines for irresponsibly driven jet-ski or speedboat are from 200-2000US$ for driver, and you can charge for damage company who lease jet-ski
glad you found them, I don't know how far back in the videos you went but they started in RV content. Although different I put them right up there with SV Delos. Been watching you since your first couple of hundred subs , up over 5 grand, good on you
Yay your back 😊! I’d be so mad 😡 if it was my boat that was hit and then got the brush off, but you handle it with grace. I now want some coconut icee ❤️can’t wait for the next video!
Jason you said that you had to make up an address at the DMV why didn’t you just give them your mothers address this way if you have any official government documentation sent to you it goes to your family and not to some complete stranger.
For the silicone stuff you can get little yellow things that make the shape and you can just drag them along and it gives a perfect line. In my silicone application fish tank overhaul video I used one and it worked well, might be worth a try for you guys to make it a bit quicker and easier.
Hey Nikki, try using a strait edge to smooth the sealant out instead of a spoon to make a flat seamless looking strip between the masking tape. Love your channel and looking forward to more sailing.
Seems no matter where you are some people can be jerks, and not respect people's things or privacy. 😡.. glad your ok. Beautiful amazing sunset, be safe or there God bless.
I am super curious about that situation. I haven't a clue what kind of records a bank keeps but Id presume it is not strictly numbers and other tomb stone info. If I were to go sail the world certainly I'd have a meeting before hand with who ever I bank with; and would think Jason did something similar.
true. you can also chose a bank which has less restrictions and policies around ridiculous identity checks. See products like Revolut, Monzo, etc. They have great services and are very flexible as well...
I agree, Jason there are many far better banks that deal with the complexities of life and lifestyles around the world. I personally hate banks for many reasons. But they're a necessary evil. You can certainly do better.
Cats are amazing. They always know when we need some extra love and comfort. ❤
Nikki you're such a strong person! I admire your gumption and tenacity.
Instablaster.
Awesome to see Nikki handling things like a pro on her own! Great vlog as usual!
I totally get this statement but my first thought was, why wouldn't she be able to? I love travelling the world over by myself. Oh, @Natalie Smith, this isn't specifically directed toward you, just a random thought that popped in my head and didn't know where else to put it. Cheers.
I really enjoyed this video. The candid kitty scenes were great! Cleo was so aloof, I love her. And Singa is gorgeous.
I have to agree, they are quite an amazing couple. Very knowledgeable and do the due diligence to have fun, do things the right way, and stay safe.
I go to Salinas and that supermaxi all the time, I'm located in Cuenca though. Lying is pretty common with the locals. Welcome to Ecuador.
This may have been by far my favorite post. Loved seeing Singa. He's just as much of a talker as my cat. I hold full conversations with mine too.
It’s so exciting to see you navigate a foreign country alone. You are one brave lady. Thanks for the ride!
Hope things work out for you. Thanks for your service. ~Army wife (retired)
Also, screw the a holes on the jet skis.
mrgravyman I hate those goddam things!
Lol I’ve learned a slingshot works wonders on drunk jet skiers being a danger to surrounding boats 😂. Good luck. Love the channel.
find out where they got that skijet where they store it.. im sure its under heavy security too . nut im willing to bet i can end the miseryof the skijet
Or set up a catapult on your boat, launch a few boulders at their shop at night, and then take a page out of their book and drive away before they can do anything about it.
I’m picturing someone launching a lime at a jet skier😂
I can totally understand your anger at the jet ski riders and vendor. That is just plain low down. I cannot stand people that will not respect the rights and property of others. No respect. Glad it was not serious damage but that is just wrong. Glad the banking issues got resolved. What a pain.
Id have a paint ball gun and mark the perps in hot pink paint this way when they return to marina U can ID them.......................
You two are truly a team, enviable and teachable.
Love your videos, love the cats, love what Niki tackles in boat projects. Really great couple!.
Thank you for sharing and Niki please be careful diving alone.
@A Connelly That is what she said.
I would have enjoyed the opportunity to meet and say hello and thank you but alas about 2 years too late😂
Thank you both for producing these videos and sharing them. They are very inspiring and help to fuel my own dreams of setting off and sailing the world as I watch your adventures I’m while working.
Great job finishing the window project Nikki😎👌🏽
You guys are great! Fair wind and following seas!
Nikki nice to see you taking it all like a champ! 👍🏽
I was thinking a shot gun filled with salt rounds but the paintball gun probably wont get me arrested! Brilliant.
"They will get their just rewards" That is right, what goes around comes around.
A fixed law.
I have a loud speaker on my boat, dual purpose for teaching and calling out bad water etiquette . Kudos on your single handed chores
Good for you, Nikki! I love your independence and also how you stood up for yourself. :)
Wonderful video! I really enjoy seeing your cats, especially the way the maneuver around the boat with such ease.
Liked before watched! Is this the first time you and Jason have been separated for a few nights while on the boat? You must have felt somewhat uneasy being in a foreign country alone. I love that you managed some boat maintenance solo in the interim:) Another great vlog!!
Fantastic video, you guys are such great editors, and love the separate but together pieces of you both in this video!
Sorry about your boat. Blessings on Jason and you.
Your mothers lovely ...thanks for sharing your adventure and Niki be safe diving alone .
I still just love the fact that you have your Meows with you....
Nikki, I am amazed by your talents and versilitity...you are the star of the show.
Searched for this comment, before I'll repeat someone. (Just the ice cube thing). Thanks for pointing out 😙🎶
Your editing and content are TV series worthy. Great work.
there is not many people hated on the water more than jet skiers. Im from florida and at least airboaters will try and give you a wide berth.
I believe Lake Roaches are the term for them....
doppler I agree we have about in NYC and Florida and they will cut right in front of us in the channels. It is ridiculous!!
Cheers.
Wow Nikki. Lot's of work while the cats away and always getting the excellent video. Maybe some water balloons with an ink dye for the wave runners?
A Super Soaker with dye would probably be easier to aim.
@@strawhatguy303 Or one can simply egg them if ya have a decent throw.

WOW! Thanks. I told the people on the phone they were costing me a fortune but they didn't seem to care.
post an email addrs and i will do likewise. i'm in canada. email is cheaper :-)
oh. please include all pertenent info. i'm old :-)
my bank tries pull that crap I would move my money so fast their head would spin.
mob mentality. sick and tired of people ganging up on businesses and coercing them to get a desired outcome, all because someone posts a grievance on social media. that is NOT how you handle things. shame.
Unfortunately, its the only way nowadays to get big businesses to listen.
It’s always fun to learn how to do something by doing it! Windows look good! I think we were all hoping for the return of the red swimsuit for bottom cleaning! Love the channel!
Excellent video!
So sorry to hear about the sea-doos. I'm very impressed with your industrious persona. Thanks for all the videos.
I have a nice water balloon bazooka works off a dive tank, perhaps she needs one also?
I'd suggest giving them 5 horn blasts to let them know you don't like what they're doing but those idiots probably wouldn't know what it meant or even care.
Perhaps venting your waste tank would at least keep them up wind?
or a potato cannon (-:
And hey we also had the address problem; we use a UPS “box” and it has worked fine (so far); our two oldest just got their Drivers permits and were able to use this address (it’s not a “PO” box but an actual address with “suite” or “apt.”) We aren’t really known for following the rules anyway 😬😏
Love your channel!
Renee ⛵️
Just like my wife. Takes care of business like a champ and proves she's not just another pretty face. Lol.
I don't know your wife, but I like her on your description alone! -Nikki
@@gonewiththewynns should have used a silicone spoon to spread the sealer, goes on good and leaves a qwik clean up
and next time use a primer to seal the glass and cat surface for better/longer sealer adhesion
Those jet skis might have been buzzing you more than the boat.
Enjoyed the video & seeing the cats too 🐈👍⛟
Not sure if you read new comments on the old videos, but I have a window suggestion that MIGHT solve your persistent window leakage problems.
I would be very concerned about security. Very enjoyable presentations. Thank you.
T C Yep, get large dog instead of cats.
Absolutely f.a.b.u.l.o.u.s. 'on-your-own' vlog, Nikki. Loved the Jason segments and the meet-up, yet all the chores you tackled is impressive !! 😊✨🥂👍👌👊✨⛵️⚓️🚣✨🔨🔩🔧✅
Batteries 100% so gotta use some power, make coffee, and at least I've got beer. ditto lol
Nice, clever tactic. Filing it in the memory banks for future reference.
Wait, that was YOU??
Ahh, hmmm, I don't think that would have worked for Nikki. I mean... have you seen her??🤩🤩
Yeah if Nikki tried that there'd be 60 jet skiers zipping around her boat like bees to honey. But it will work for me!!! 😁
@@garrett6064 ... you make a good point. Nikki standing UP bollock naked...and I'm sure it would attract more attention. Not a solution for her. lol
I love how Singa tries out both of the chairs. Those are a nice find & easy to stow.
I like Nikki’s style... the project is not done until everything is put away.
But I might have to warn Jason, I think Nikki is having an affair with the Coco Express man 🙃
dear Mrs. Wynn(..nikki)
fantastic solo vlog.
my humble prayers for u (& hubby) that u r always safe .. 💕💕💕💕💕
Cape CodBob Don’t forget the leopard skin cat!
Great episode! Loved the editing and dual timelines.
you need a flat edge (like a putty knife) rather than a curved suffice.
Why would he want the crust cut off of his toast?
I have NEVER, ever clicked so fast! :)

Me neither! 😁🖱🖲
outstanding work on the starboard side. Jason's mom is a hoot, beautiful sunset.
Can't believe those jerks hit your boat and took off like that!! Hang in there, Nikki!
A blast or two of warning from an air horn could perhaps do the trick
OneGenericName that would probably get their rocks off and keep doing it faster and closer... they were probably seeing if a male was on board and casing the boat in all honesty.
Just go there and rent a jet ski, take it out in the bay and sink it, see if they notice.
Nice thinking outside the box! Then when they say it was you tell them nope it could have been anyone. What dicks.
@@johnhines852 friggin AWESOME IDEA!
Adding to me 'research list'. THANK YOU!!!!
john hayford - mind if I ask which brand you installed? And if you’ve videotaped the installation?
Doesn't work with cored hills unless you remove the core, so that the transducer is on the outside fiberglass.
Sonihull by NRG Marine looks like a winner, here is a very good system to look into. Sonihull also has a shaft production transducer as well as a transducer for stern drives.
1) www.nrgmarine.com/ (main site for Sonihull, there are 21 countries that supply)
2) ruclips.net/channel/UCnPHDmrAthuP15k8cgUyAKg
3) www.pyiinc.com/sonihull/ (USA reseller)
4) ruclips.net/video/JxoEOaaQIm8/видео.html
Note #1: A Sonihull is suitable for all single skin GPR, aluminium and Concrete hulls.
I can't believe you kept Chase after they did that.
Pain in the ass but apparently they take security seriously.
He explains why in the blog. A big reason is because Chase offers very good international banking services.
I love your videos... this one is especially good as you are showing the real boating life... thank you
Rock on Nikki! Great you got into the dingy and stood your ground. I would have been so pissed. Bunch of idiots for sure. Sorry you had to deal with that
Got to love Mom’s .... always there to help whenever possible!!!!
Do you have copper coat? It keeps our hull very clean, we clean it with a soft cloth once a month to get rid of the sand.
Adventures Living Aboard Donna Lynn is copper coat banned in some places because of the leakage into the water?
You got lucky, a
ski going 50 knots could go right through one hull and half way through the other. They weigh 900 lbs
I had a similar thing happen.
Great channel guys, love it.
glad you found them, I don't know how far back in the videos you went but they started in RV content. Although different I put them right up there with SV Delos. Been watching you since your first couple of hundred subs , up over 5 grand, good on you

Jason you said that you had to make up an address at the DMV why didn’t you just give them your mothers address this way if you have any official government documentation sent to you it goes to your family and not to some complete stranger.
We were asking the same question. Hopefully the address he made up is undeliverable.
If you find you're casually calling people 'illegals' it's a sign you need to stop watching Fox news.

Yeah, we got that.
So Jerry, What do you call people who break the law to illegally enter the country? They are federally listed as Illegal aliens.
Nice job showing hull growth. 😸
Thanks for the warning about Salinas. I’ll make alternate plans.

Nikki cleaning the boat bottom while alone is iffy for me. I will do it while someone else is with me.
Seems no matter where you are some people can be jerks, and not respect people's things or privacy. 😡.. glad your ok. Beautiful amazing sunset, be safe or there God bless.
change the bloody bank guys...that's ridiculous....
They have great services and are very flexible as well...
i checked for Jason's write up on it, but the url doesnt work
I agree, Jason there are many far better banks that deal with the complexities of life and lifestyles around the world. I personally hate banks for many reasons. But they're a necessary evil. You can certainly do better.
Better than my experience with Wells Fargo 'protecting' my money 30-years ago by giving $4000 of it to some unknown
Good for you keeping watch, making repairs and holding down the fort like a pro. Jason has it good.
