F4 hit confirms easily into everything and its his longest reaching normal in CT (and safe). D4 is one of the best in low pokes in the game and it cancels into knife throw, I use it like Ryu uses low forward xx fireball.

Man, that combo you do with the buff and two f,212 into a run cancel is so difficult. I'll have to keep practicing it until I get that sweet spot every time. Thanks for the videos, guys.

The KvsM matches themselves are great because of your guys commentary and other obvious reasons, but also because you don't have to deal with delay or queue times, you can just get right into it. I agree that Kano wants to put his opponent in the corner and play punisher but I feel he may have a lack of overhead attacks which limits his offensive options. I prefer to wait for opponents to whiff and I will punish with his fast hitting normals.
You guys forgot about his mb ball cancel combos. It has armor and if you want corner carry with no damage, it is a better option than the mb knife up slash.
You can optimize after f2,1,2 with Run Cancel 1,1 xx Blade Slice > 1,1,2 xx Ender. Blade Slice will give moderate corner push and oki but do less damage, roughly 29-30% meterless, Kano Ball gives slightly better damage, hard knockdown and enough time to trigger normal Buff and save the extra bar for high damage, and Up Ball will actually maximize damage (31%) and push opponents fullscreen for winning against opponents that are low on health with meaty chip damage EX Knives, F2,1 xx Up Ball, etc. Just my two cents.
You guys, probably Ketchup, should totally do an Advanced Overview with Blood God Kotal! I've seen Madzin and I fell in love with the variation and I'm planning on trying to learn him.

I think cutthroat and cybernetic are equally good. Commando is the weakest variation in my opinion. Not too many options as far as combos go, but I would love to see what Mustard can do with it.
k so the issue iv been having is that i cant get in enough to use his overhead. my go to thing to do right now is f4 db1 ( i dont know if its punishable but online no one does). after the first time or two people will expect the db1 after f4 and wait for it. i normally use this to get close enough to use the overhead but its risky and not great... also grab after they r conditioned works to. i know his ex-knives are plus but no one respects it and im normally not close enough for his b1 and they always block the b3. what do i do to get in and start my shinanigans?

I almost never use the normal buff ( Just picked him up ). normally when in the corner I use one bar to use say b12 MBbuff the like low or high. idk I hate not being able to use the armored buff so I don't use it unless im starting a combo... its probably because I play with people who don't punish what im assuming is a gapped string. cant wait to see more of your kano.

+Alex “gibster13” Gibson B1 hitbox is fine you just have to run cancel it consistently. I find that cybernetic and cutthroat are great compliments (defensive/zoning and madman rushdown with damage and safe 50/50) and switch between them depending the matchup.

Kano is actually +2 on block on his low if you hit confirm it, and he is 0 on block on his overhead. Cutthroat is very underestimated
