I was about to get Flowmasters for my '22, then I heard the AWE Touring. It blows all the others away, if you're looking for a deep, clean, old-school musclecar sound with no rasp and no drone.
After watching this video again the American Muscle C&L Axle Back with an SR Xpipe is pretty close to the Roush & MBRP Sound that was on this video.. You can't beat the price plus it feels like you are getting between 25lb's to 30 lb's of weight savings from replacing the stock mufflers'.. They were heavy compared to the C&L axle Back I put in it's place.. I got a coupon code and got the C&L set up for $280 tax and shipping included.. I am telling you, You can't beat the price or bang for buck at all.. Beats the hell out of spending $800 to $1500 just for an axle back, I get paying $800 if it comes with an H or X pipe too.. But My Xpipe was $150 and the axle back $280, and I got a great sound for a total of $420 plus I gave my buddy who has a shop a $100 to use his lift and for his help.. So $520 for a great sound! It is a 4 out of 5 on the wake the Neighbors.. But it is what it is.. It's a weekend car mostly... Oh yeah plus they are high flow mufflers so there's probably another 8 HP added to the car on top of the weight savings too..
Hello Professor Mike, I enjoyed watching your video. My son has a 2019 Mustang GT with a modified exhaust system (Texas Speed long tube headers (2.5 inch) with high-flo cats, Roush x-pipe mid-pipes and Borla S-type axel-back muffler). It also has a Lund Racing tune package. The neighbors are lining up with pitch forks because of the 105+ decibel cold start. What exhaust configuration would you recommend to get the sound down below 85 on cold start and still have an aggressive sound and power?
With longtime headers and high flow cats it’s going to be very loud, I would recommend putting stock mufflers back on to limit the sound of maybe some magnaflow street series mufflers
Corsa Extreme cat back system. By far the best sound on 2018 mustangs
Corsa extreme with the Vavles is the best overall. You get loud, normal, and quiet all in one. If you got the money to burn, that is 😂

Borla ATAK Cat-Back exhaust system with Kooks Long tube headers. Your welcome 👍😁
Stainless Power/works over kooks
Bro there is one more you can add RCP 'Cat back non-resonated' exhaust. This sounds damn good.
Your older folks up to 45 like it tamer haha. I'm 46 and hell no do I want it to sound tamer.
