A checklist guide for a basic visual inspection for a bioretention / rain garden system to ensure there are no issues with its functionality.
Checklist:
-No standing water or erosion on the surface of or around the system
-No damage (discoloration, wilting, etc.) to vegetation, and no invasive weeds
-No mulch wash-outs or sand / sediment build up around inflow points
-Outlet structure free of debris with water flowing as intended
-Overflow mechanism free of debris or other material which may cause clogging
