I just realized today that The Package is the only par score that I'm missing. I actually have 64 999 / 65 000

Been waiting for this one. Glad to hear I wasn't the only one that struggled with par score on this mission lmao. For some reason I saw the score I needed and thought I'd put it on legendary, with some skulls on. I could get to the final part of the mission no problem, in around 10 minutes. But the waves of phantoms took so long to arrive that it ended up putting me over the par time (+1 or 2 deaths). When you try to do it that way, it's almost like you've gotta play the level perfectly. No deaths, speed run strats, legendary with skulls on, and you still barely get enough score. I don't know what on earth I was doing wrong, it took me like 2 weeks. But oh well, it's over now.
Same here….. same here!! I would do with a buddy just like you said perfectly no deaths did the first two Rally points in 12 minutes until the last part, we got somewhat destroyed, but we managed to beat it with 67,000 points including 6 skulls and on legendary.
They need to increase these par times with how much time this game loves to waste on no action.
My guy, you realize this game came out around 10-fucking-years ago , right? Back then, we didn't have pisspots like yourself needing to bitch and winge about a small bit of downtime.

took a few tries but finally got it! thanks for the guide. killing the banshees with the scorpion, stealing a banshee and a wraith for multikills, and playing for speed did the trick

Good job on these guides! I've been using these Halo Reach par time and par score as guides and I just completed the last one today. For the most part, each one is spot-on.
All of the par times were pretty easy to hit; got each one on my first attempt after watching the accompanying video. The par scores were a little tougher, but I managed to get each one on the first or second attempt; the lone exception was THIS one. Took me four tries.

The biggest obstacle to getting the par score on this mission is the timer. Even when following the guide here, I was always hard-pressed to hit the par time. On one attempt, I had a score of about 66k when the timer hit 20 minutes. By the time the mission ended, my score had fallen to 64.5k. Very frustrating. I got it on the next attempt when my score was 77k at 20 minutes and had only fallen to 73k by mission end, but it still seems to me that 20 minutes for a par time is too short. 25 minutes would seem better to me.

Anyhow, good job again on the videos! This would have been tough to do without your help. You've save a lot of people many hours of frustration. Keep up the good work!
So helpful. Way easier than when I tried Legendary/Heroic. The Wraith really helps, I never knew how to shoot the driver out before

This was the last par score I needed. I attempted several runs and then just got it without trying, when me and some friends did our LASO run lol
Dude I tried this so many times because I was struggling. Had to do it on Legendary with almost every skull on and only just managed it. I make stuff like this way too hard 😂

Par time is so tight on this level that if you die even once, you need to start over. Par time is 20 minutes, and your multiplier plummets to 1x by 25 minutes. It's sadistic.
That being the case... turn on Iron. You can't afford to die anyway, so you might as well. That gives you a lot more room for error (let's be real, we're not all as good as Silver), and you can make up time by buzzing past some of the lower-scoring parts knowing that the extra multiplier is covering you.
I missed one Banshee, skipped a few infantry enemies Silver wiped out, buzzed past the enemies with the Ghost after the tank section, and I still *reached* the glacier area with more than 65,000. Then, once I had the Banshee, I flew around activating the turrets because... I have 65,000, I don't care if they take my points, I want to get done faster. I then basically followed the guide up through killing the Wraith from behind, then just moved up and ended the level as soon as possible, ignoring those extra kills Silver got at the end; he had time to spare, and you probably won't.
Result: 19:23, 93,000 points.
Alternatively, if you're getting too frustrated constantly getting killed by grenades, consider turning on Iron, turning off Catch, and following Silver's guide more closely.

This videos could not be better
Did this on legendary with 4 skulls and barely got it 2k over par score. Wasn't worth it. Definitely go off this guide and do it on normal with skulls. Par time is the par score.
No Way Dude I've done The Package on Normal with your skulls on and never got over 25000 point's before entering the building having tried over a dozen time's watching your video I cannot get anywhere near 50000 like you did.
Thats what I just commented. I even did better by getting more multikills and didnt even get close.

I had 70k and rapidly decreasing because of par time. by the time I managed to press X to enter to Halsey's Lab, I had 65,170 points. felt my heart was about to burst out of my chest
Last par score level for Reach. Got just over 21 minutes, 1st try with the Iron skull on, instead of Fog, as well. Achievement Unlocked.

Scoring Skulls: 2.27x
Time Multiplier: 2.46x
Total Score: 68,140

If you’re doing this is one run you may as well stick iron on as well for a better score

I got about 45k doing this mission of my regular Legendary playthrough, with the no-radar skull on. So I had a 4.4x but I ran out of time and got no scores at most of the end part of the mission.

tried on legendary. had 125k points then lost more than 60k during the hold out section. needed this
I take the ghost to the next area and the elite armor locks in the last second -.-
I had to do this on legendary just to match your score without the time bonus. I did it, though, so that's what counts.

I did exactly the same thing and used the exact same difficulty and skulls but I’m not getting near enough points. He has 35,000 points by the time he reaches sword base, I followed his method to a tee and only had 12,000 by the time I made it to sword base.
Is there something he didn’t mention in the video or the description that I missed?

Yo I dont know if they patched this game or what, but im using more multipliers than you and getting no where near the same score your getting. You were at 30,000+ getting past the turrets, mine usually only gets 8,000 -12,000. I get more multikills and go about the same speed.
You could have triggered the ending Easter egg just to splatter all the sword elites for even more points

After you choose a mission you can activate either, time or score. Activate score and et voila

Why did my score marked 0 all the time after a moment? I only had 27000
After enough time you stop getting score.
I'm always scared whenever I'm going over the par time, but I ended up with 72k points with a timer of 20:52, I made a straight B line for the button when it sayed objective completed

When you're snuggled up against the rocks on the left the phantom won't shoot you, but in my other video you linked I was being way more aggressive and not hiding in that spot.

I completed this but did not get the achievement. In fact in the bottom right I just had a score number. No timer. No competing players, etc. I don't get why. I had competitive Scoring turned on.
Same here I just did this. Did you figure out what happened? I ended with a score of 99,000 but the achievement didn’t pop.

Try it on heroic and turn off tilt. You can destroy the phantoms.
Or just do a laso without dying, you can get the score even after you loose all time bonus
