    Hello,
    For example, If the gross total income is 7lac (Salary + capital gain per year)
    1.5L PPF
    50k standard description
    HRA and other exemption around 40k
    7,00,000 - 1,50,000 - 50,000 - 40,000 = 4,60,000.
    In this case, we just have to show the capital gain in ITR. But there won't be any tax applied as the taxable income is below 5Lac, so there will be a rebate of 12,500.
    Is this correct?

    Hello sir,
    What happens if we bought 10share and sold it in 3 months..got 10k profit.now when we should pay tax..is it when we file itr we should add this amount for tax or tax should be payed when we withdraw 10k from our broker account..its confusing..😁

      @pinakinpatel9546 2 года назад

      You will get all profit in your demat. Brokerage deducting other small taxes, fees.
      You have to manage by your own for STCG/LTCG in your ITR.
      In coming days everyone have to file ITR or gov. will share filled form and you need to justify/counter it.

      You need to pay when you file ITR and not when you withdraw from brokers.
