Sven I have many other hen capes from Lt. tan to dark brown even orange .I also have brahma hen capes, but I don't have mallard breast in fact it's impossible to find in Canada unless you hunt and I don't hunt. Do you have any other suggestions you could offer as an alternative? I have two types of duck wings(paired) 1-mallard , 1 wood duck . I looked at the mallard first and the feathers on the underside of the wing are pure white hen type. On the wood duck their darker than yours but they are some really sharp looking feathers.I think they would they would make a good over wing like yours. What do you think ? great pattern though .thanx for posting it. Ken

Any hen feather should work :) I’d definetly go with Brahma. Beautiful feathers!
Very nice
Thank you!! 😃🙌🏼
Very nice. I may have to try it! Do you use any floatant to keep it on the surface?
Thank you! I use Loon aquel or similar to most dry flies, except those tied mainly of cdc - then oil is better.
Es un tricoptero?
Don’t know what you mean
Que mosca imita?
