You can get to Tottori easily via direct flights from Tokyo(Haneda or Narita Airport), direct buses depart from all over Japan's major cities and of course you can take the limited express train (Super Hakuta) from many areas such as Kyoto and Osaka.

How is everyone doing?!?! Are you guys enjoying winter where you are? :) I'm usually not a fan of the cold and try to escape the winter every year by going to warmer countries or going back home to NZ, down in the southern hemisphere where it's summer hehe. BUT this year, before winter ends I have realllllly been enjoying the snow and the beautiful landscapes around Japan so hope you enjoy this video too

Scotland basically shut down entirely for 3 days due to snow.
The shot of you all eating in the snow with beautiful Mt Daisen in the background was just so picturesque.

I'm currently living at Tottori right now. Its nice that you made a video like this and I hope it would attract more people to come and visit Tottori. It's really a calm and peaceful place...and yes it is a winter wonderland!!! I actually tried skiing today at Mt. Hyouno in Tottori also. But the skii resort at Daisen is very beautiful plus you can see the Sea of Japan.

Your videos on Tottori Prefecture are really helpful to me. I work in China and am planning to spend the Chinese New Year/Spring Festival holiday period in Japan. I want to go places that are much less touristy and where I could experience Japan in winter. And also where I have to speak Japanese pretty much continuously. Your videos convinced me to spend some time in Tottori.

Those illuminations are so beautiful! You did really well snowboarding - I took lessons on an indoor slope in the UK, and I think I looked really awkward & nowhere near as good as all the cool snowboarders! 😂

if you do that floating leaf style facing down the slope, then you do it facing up. then alternate face down, then face up. and after that, you will be doing it naturally.
Winter looks nice in Japan, we do not have winter in Singapore sadly. How I wish I could visit an onsen in Japan one day! Thanks for posting, always looking forward to your videos!

Oh you were so close to Shimane again! I'm a kiwi living here and I think you'll find it amazing too if you can visit! It's the second least populated prefecture in Japan but it has heaps of beautiful nature and warm-hearted people :D
(Also tried snowboarding for the first time too this winter :P)
