Even not being in the field of aviation I can see so many things being handled with such polite, correct, repetitiveness, and communication that needs to be employed to be a pilot. Many of those attributes could and should be carried into our own lives in whatever we do. Love this stuff.
Its communication. If everyone just communicated better then we'd all know where people were at in their days it would be great. Coworkers, relationships, friendships, etc. COMMUNICATE BETTER.
5:15 the approach light appearing out of the fog has to be one of the most beautiful sights ever
His voice is so smooth
Allr kid
Incredible. The lights were not visible till the last 300ft. That was spectacular to see.
Brave pilots. Huge respect to them.
He did nothing
Its ILS (Auto landing instrument) helped him to land
@@rapidaccelerator9831 Are you a pilot?
@@rapidaccelerator9831 ils isnt autoland….
@@rapidaccelerator9831 either way though he still has to trust in his instruments and fight the urge to maneuver the plane because he now has no point of reference when looking out the cockpit window. That BRAVERY and SKILL in my book!!!
@@rapidaccelerator9831 ILS is instrument landing system, not for auto landing bro...
that cockpit is beautiful!!
Superb video. Crisp sub-titles. Clear audio. Excellent. Thanks!!!!
Professional communcation in the cockpit! Well done!!
I thought they did quite well. Those glass cockpits are really sweet. I remember the old steam guage days.
Loved the professionalism in that cockpit.
Piloteyes have the best and cleanest quality of aircraft videos online 🖒🖒🖒🖒🖒
beautiful landing considering the bad weather/visibility....awesome
ADF was all over the place in that storm. Obviosly stabilised once they were out of it.Very professional crew utilising all the information at their disposal even if it is at times a tad bit unreliable. On the plus side it pointed out that storm nicely.
imagine landing in those conditions with a strong cross wind.
Usually there's no wind in dense fog conditions right? But it should be possible with a steady calculated wind but with windshear very hard.
Awesome videos! I loved watching that approach.
Very nice, love the screens and controls
WOW, what a great view. Seriously.
mind blown, thanks for sharing
That was freaking awesome ...
Sweet Video!
Congratulation for the pilots! It was perfect landing!
Wow, really great camera work here.
Great video. Would like to see more of it and much much longer videos :(
Buy them at the site
I would but too expensive for me personally.
In my last IFR flight training , I nearly hit some tress. And look at those pros, so smooth in IFR.
At 5:56 is a great example of why a thorough approach briefing should be performed. The captain was confused when the F/O wasn't using any reverse. If a proper approach briefing was performed, both pilots would be very aware of the runway available and the amount of Autobrake needed and in this case, whether or not full reverse thrust was needed for landing.
Thought that was strange too. That the Captain had no idea the F/O wasn't going to use reverse trust. So he could have forgotten to engage it and the Captain said nothing hmmm.
At 0:44 the copilot named the runway they were going to use and its dimensions. And right afterwards, they went through the descent checklist. Autobrake was set to 2.
As far as I know, setting / using reverse thrust is not standard procedure, but rather dependant on the aircraft type and / or airline guidelines (a GOL pilot told me once, they're always using full reverse thrust with their 737s even on the longest runways because it's an airline requirement) or other factors not known to me.
My point is that, in accordance to the factors named above, using reverse thrust is under the PF's responsibility (in this case, the FO) and as such, is not to be included in a checklist. So nothing wrong or out of the ordinary here, I would think.
Then again, I'm not a pilot, just someone who's interested in aviation and stuff, so feel free to correct me if you (or anyone else) deem it necessary ;)
i was a little surprised by this too, i always make a point of knowing how much runway i expect to have to roll out after the touchdown and this is how i decide which level of autobrake to use and whether or not reverse thrust is needed (taking into consideration weight and winds of course).
Indeed thats "Strange" normally you brief that, its requiried/discussed when calculating the landing performance
Actually ManiPulatoR84, if you have reverse standard op is to use it. It's unstantard to not use it.
Had a similar ILS approach Munich a few years ago even worse fog. It was amazing...
awesome vid. great pilots
coordination is beautiful. Love is video hope to see more of them
yep reverse....
Amazing stuff, ILS wow
Breathtaking! 🙏🙏🙏
Amazing cockpit environment .. keep it up
Very nice vide Thank you guys ... please upload more .. following
Well done, again. See you next time.
appreciate the details...
Wow best landing video Ive ever seen. Guys please recommend similar ones.
08:18... "Let the autopilot fly". Incredible commander's confidence in the system, with such a thunderstorm falling apart!
I think because the autopilot can fly more accurately
@@rayanaltowayan9558 not really tho it can disconnect
@@gggf4766 that's why you have 2 autopilots
Great Job
Cool! Short before reaching the minimum, the runway was in sight. Puh... Good job Capitan!
lh3006
That's why there's ILS
great landing.
Just by looking at this; it takes alot to become a pilot. Pros to the pilot.
What a cool job!
No music! Great!
i don't know what i say about this video it's really wonderful .
That captain is talking like the one flight instructor nobody wanted to fly with :D
Why is that
not the captain but the FahrenheitProductions bimbo
@@user-rc9qi6yp6k 5:57 for example and the way he asks him to have the autopilot connected till minimum, feels like high hirarchy gradient in the cockpit, no good environment for CRM
@@kgd192 i see
He sounds more like the serious, experienced, professional pilot that I would trust my life with
How's about future videos include inset images of the "PFD" and "HSI" displays (i.e. primary flight display and horizontal situation indicator)?
wonderful land . Perfect weather hehe.
Bravo à vous toutes et tous
excellent
Cool lads
The F.O. is sporting a Beritling Navitimer. Very nice.
His voice sounds like the one on the callouts on the radio altimeter
Very cool.
Great pilots salute to you
PF & Capt were not in sync on the thrust reverser. very surprising.
Que cosa más espectacular...
awsome landing. This makes me want to learn to fly in real life. I play a lot of FSX and this just video just gives me that itch. lol. Keep up the good work!
IlyasWidaad you should use DCS it is way more realistic than FSX
DCS? Never heard of it. I'll check into it :)
IlyasWidaad it's more of a combat flight sim but I will warn you it is quite pricey because of the jets you download I think they are around the 60 dollar range for say an A-10 Warthog. it would need a pretty beefy computer as well.
IlyasWidaad I recommend X-Plane ;)
Captains voice very intimidating, like you're flying with Darth Vader
I like the background music on first seconds on this video. Who sings it? What is the title of the song ?
Cap on the left should do radio. Has that voice.
Got to love autoland!
This cpt is a boss haha, the fo made a nice landing in challenging conditions too
This is a Chinese translation group, very famous, translating the air catastrophe series and Pilotseye
Co pilot getting landing in such conditions. So lucky
Surely that wasn't the whole approach briefing, the runway dimensions? Presumably it was edited out.
His voice can make me sleep
Many nights i sleep with captain voice.
Muy interesante.
Buddy could have a career in radio, besides the fact that dense fog is very nerve racking,
I like his voice
So, that is what he was watching. St. Elmo's Fire! Now we know what he was doing on Netflix. Interesting.
The translation of the minimums is wrong it's 630 not 640 ft
rc mendes0815 yeah they got it wrong when making English sub
Professional crew!
My critical spare parts just arrived from HK to Cologne on D-AALD. DHL courier but they use Aerologic aircraft.
I wonder why they dont have infrared displays or thermal imaging to see through fog? I'm astonished they just land like that.
Really like the music.
is this the only plane with autochecklist?so cool, got interested with planes because of these videos
The A380s, A350s, and 787s have them as well
Love it. Handsome.
I work EDDP approach..☺️
which is the music of the name of the video start?
I'm confused Tower doesn't issue the RVR readings out at the time of landing clearance ? Or was it given earlier and not shown on vid ?
no need for that, if the visibility is sufficient
Pilot so handsome
Deutsche Wertarbeit 👍
LAND 3 is not LANDING GEAR three green, IS FOR checing AUTOLAND call out" LAND 3" on the PFD(only for Mandarin).
The captain is a part time radio dj with that voice
soft landing nice
I’m only confused about the thrust reverser part after touchdown. I saw him pull the levers but he says he left it on idle?? Someone confirm
I`m still debating about going back to school for aircraft maintenance. I hear alot of negative things that make me not wanna go to school but at the same time I`m 47 and I always loved planes and would like to get my hands on them big comercial planes. I would like to learn how to fly but I have a stutter and I wouldn`t be able to communicate fast enough.
words of wisdom....go for your dreams....dont let anything get in your way....with communication you listen to the chatter through internet get all the terminology down in your mind and that would make things easier for you...not all pilots talk fast and you dont have to communicate fast but as long as its correct....dont give up
Thanks for your kind words.

There is always going to be some negetive crap on any job
No matter how kool or amazing
So go and try it for yourself
You love planes so why not give it a try cause my friend you are 46 already and times waits for nobody
Give it a shot!!
Just go ahead and sutudy it! Does not matter how old you are, what is importante is your capacity to learn always. I swear, it´s a great carrier, an amazing world. I know that because i´m part of that.
My biggest dream has always been to become a pilot. The problem is that I am a little colorblind. So my story is quite similar to the teenager in "Little Miss Sunshine". My biggest disappointment in life was not being able to become a real pilot. I remember once, when I was 15, I was travelling in a 747 with my parents and I asked the stewardess if I could visit the cockpit. She took me there - those were the good times when this kind of request would pretty much always be accepted - and I had the privilege to spend some time chatting with the pilots in such a magic place. I was so impressed by how spacious that was compared to the 727 or 737 I had already seen. When I went back to my seat (next to the window, of course!), I started crying while thinking that my dream would never come true. I really felt like sh**t. A couple of years ago I found out that since early 2000 Europe allows colorblind people to get the Private Pilot License. I got the license this summer. I'm not flying a 747, but I've never been as happy in my life. Being able to fly my little Piper once a week makes me the happiest person on Earth. I'm 37, and every time I sit in the cockpit I feel like a little boy that got the best gift ever for his birthday. (I'm aware that nobody probably cares about my personal history, the purpose here is just to say that there's no age to do what you've always dreamed of.)
If you really want to fly, go for it, man. It's not radio communication that will prevent you from being a happy flying man.
(On my first student flights I also thought that I would never be able to handle the radio. Until the day you realize you're doing it without even thinking about it. :))
It was scary driving an semi truck through dense fog at night in west Virginia it made me wished that I didn't ignore all them lit up dense fog warning signs lights I was thankful for my young sharp eyes, my co driver slept comfortably in the sleeper not aware that I was so scared that my heart was up in my throat I got us through safely, even an cop and others followed behind me they used my rig as an guide to get them through I was so scared I wanted to pull over but couldn't it was too dangerous I couldn't see the turn off be exits and signs
太完美了,盲降。
Bro, yesterday our plane landed at Stuttgart with same fog as here. Kinda scary for normal ppl ngl
German pilots at its best!
agreed, thanks to the USA.
That's mad
How do you decide between manual brakes and reverse thrust? Or both?
Reverse thrust, runway conditions and distance. Manual braking per SOPs 50 knots is the speed to disengage autobrk and manual braking for the turn.
Sorry, Didn't get u. What exactly as per SOP made them use manual brakes on this landing as opposed to reverse thrust?
How many knots do they move in during taxi?
Question: What exactly as per SOP made them use manual brakes on this landing as opposed to reverse thrust? Answer: runway conditions and distance.
Question: How many knots do they move in during taxi?
avg is around 20 and max 30.
They can vacate the high speed taxiway at around 45 knots. When the planes are landing, the pilots usually set the autobrakes, and they will take control of the brakes. In some airlines' SOP, reverse thrust are not required to use after touch down.
Jan Walters
Was it a manual or auto pilot landing
Can someone explain how they find the runway and don't just land in a tree next to the runway or something?
THERE'S...... SOMETHING ON THE WING!
Ich höre die Flugzeuge die Leipzig anfliegen sehr oft da ich ca 50km südlich von Leipzig wohne.
Usually I would get mad if someone calls me a #2 but I guess in aviation it's not a big deal ;)
That’s a million dollar voice
the video start a plane passed very close to each other
