Wow! The radius search blew my mind! I have been part time reselling on and off for years and never thought to do this! Thank you!!!
I’m so glad that took was helpful for you! :)
P😅😅😅😅😅😅
Boom! Thrift Master Bethany opened up a can of Thrift Fu on everyone... Thanks!
Haha thank you so much for the kind comment!!
Just a word of caution when thrifting at the bins. My husband got an awful gash on his hand at the bins. He put his hands under a pile of clothing to flip it over and there was a broken wine glass. He now wears cut protective gloves. I still don't wear the gloves, because I like to feel fabrics. So instead of lifting clothing, I carefully move it from the top where I can see clearly what's in the bin. I too have come across broken glass in the bins. How it ends up in the clothing bins, I don't know! We had to file a claim for his injury and thankful he didn't need stitches, but he was close. Just to see the blood everywhere got me in a panic. Be very careful.
Omg I’m so sorry this happened - I’ve seen this happen a handful of times before in hard good bins but never clothing bins!
Yes, definitely being cautious of where and how you’re digging is super important and I like your method of carefully moving pieces to the side of your bins has any kind of history with something like that happening. Thanks for sharing!
I also use my hands, but I'm careful. I've found a pair of scissors between the clothes once and also items full of sewing pins (as in an unfinished project).
That’s so scary! I’m just walking into a goodwill outlet for the first time… with gloves!
I'm obsessed -- thank you so much! I'm so glad we connected over on Whatnot. I'll be a regular watcher now over here on YT! I love listening to you while I'm listing and packaging :)
Aw thank you so much! I’m so glad we did too :) thank you for also watching and commenting here!
@@TrashPandasThrift I will continue to do so!! When's your next whatnot show? I'll come hang!!
We had a show yesterday!! We’ll be on a trip this week so our next one will likely be next weekend :)
One of my favorite finds that I went with feel and touch was a Vintage Carole Little dress 😂
It was just so beautiful and cute and felt amazing.
Sold very fast, and customer left a great review 😊
My last bins trip I took your advice to go through every item and to make sure I’m at every rotation.
I came home with a lot more items. I also couldn’t believe the things people were passing by.
Thanks!!!
You’re so welcome and how exciting!! That’s really cool and I’m happy you were able to find more pieces!
I agree with this! I now look at everything in a bin and I feel like I find so much more. Plus it isn't as stressful to search quickly. I just take my time and sort each bin.
I love to feel silk, wool, cashmere and lululemon to name a few … been sourcing for 4 years😅but a life long thrifter ❤the hunt is real ! Such work out there 😂
Haha it really is! That’s so cool though having those feels down - it really does help a ton with sourcing!
Bethany you are a marketing expert! You've helped me become a better marketer!
Aw thank you so much! I’m so glad to hear you got value from this video :)
This is such great advice . This year I found several tops in cheaper brands items sold at Target, Walmart and Kmart. They were great colors and natural materials and were in great condition .
I sold these right away after listing and the buyers wrote back and told me how pleased they were to get these items. Most were vintage . I also got these cheap. This style based shopping is working great for me this year.
I’m so happy to read this comment! It’s awesome that style based sourcing is going well for you I love that!
Great information I love your enthusiasm while you are sharing your tips and tricks!!!
Thank you so much! I appreciate it :)
Since your last video, I have already sold something as Whimsigoth :) Thank you!
Yay!!! That’s so exciting and I absolutely love to hear it!
END Thanks for the great vids. 🎉Happy Birthday 🎉
When selling an item based on style, do you add the brand name to the title if it’s not a popular brand? Love your content! Thanks so much for all your tips and tricks!
Totally agree!!! A few of my highest selling pieces had zero comps for the brand. No info or relevant pieces anywhere to be found. Sold entirely based on uniqueness and craftsmanship alone for top dollar
I love that!! It’s such an amazing way to source and so glad you also have great strategies for selling unique pieces!
Love the tip about searching sold comps in our local area! Thank you for all your helpful videos!
You’re so welcome! And that tip really helped a lot for me when I was personally first getting started or even feeling stumped as to what I was missing in my area!
Thank you! Great tips!
Thanks! Never knew to check local
You’re so welcome! Thank you for watching and commenting :)
Great video with lots of information❤
Thank you so much for watching!

I love this content and really appreciate you sharing your knowledge! ❤
Thank you so much for watching! So grateful to have you as part of our community :)
I would love it if you would display some examples of what you are referring to. love your content, but I sometimes get lost when just sitting and talking. Thanks.
Hi! Thanks for your comment :) in our keyword and style breakdowns Sean adds tons of picture examples - I’ll definitely send the feedback along for other videos too!
Question about a tacted on tag. Is it usually just one stitch on either side of the tag? Or does the stiching go all the way down both sides of the tag? Also is the same true for tags that have stiching on all 4 sides?
I'd love to see your Ebay store. Any chance that you can share a link please?
Hi there! We mostly wholesale to other resellers who sell on eBay/posh/depop and sell on whatnot now a days. :)
@@TrashPandasThrift how does that work? How do we see what you are bulk selling so we can purchase in bulk?
❤❤❤
Thanks ❤🎉🎉🎉
You’re so welcome!
I got really good at finding 100% silk items, but I'm soooo unlucky with them, I swear they are always so stained...just me? All the Tommy Bahama silk items I ever found are literally in the top of the dirtiest items I found at a thrift store haha
Omg I totally get you on this! They definitely have a higher flaw percentage than some other materials
I touch everything in the bin I'm at top to bottom and I find most of the good stuff on the bottom! The only irritating thing is when other people come to the bin you have already cleared out half and they start ripping thru it. I say something every time because im not doing all that for "them"!
Great video with alot of information i did not know and will start doing when I source. Thank you!!
You’re so welcome! Also Sean has the same move things to the side method - he’ll literally toss it back onto the pile even when others move it lol but I totally get that
These are good tips, just a friendly criticism, you repeat yourself ALOT.
Thanks for watching and commenting!
I’m grateful they repeat themselves.
Repetition is how we learn. 😊
I think you’re doing a great job!
I’ve had a stroke and sometimes forget things. And by the time I can find a pen or paper to write it down it’s gone and I forgot the info. I don’t mind repetition bc then I could get it again
The whole reselling influencer culture feels like a gimmick to sell courses.
Not sure what you mean by this comment - every single video we’ve put out has been filled with completely free value for new and advanced resellers alike.
Although I appreciate you saying that we’re influencers in the community, I don’t really understand your comment.
I love that you guys give this info to us for free! I’ve become a better seller thanks to your videos. So THANK YOU!
@shannon1446 you’re so welcome! We’re grateful to have people like you in our community here on YT :)
I’ve commented before about how grateful I am that even tho you could gatekeep all this info for your paid membership, you don’t!! It’s “influencers” like you that helped me do over $6K in my first 90 days on eBay alone.
THANK YOU. ❤
@Dawn congratulations on your 6K total!! That’s SO amazing! And also, thank you so much for the kind words. :) we do have a paid membership - and we haven’t even promoted it on our channel yet!
We do our best to provide as much value as we possible can for FREE to help the community any way we can, and offer what we believe to be the best paid community for resellers who choose to go that route. Both can exist at the same time, and both can be equally as amazing (which we feel they are)
Thank you for your support and being part of our community on this channel!
