I prefer the mellow ships. Tried the big ships. They, were too crowded and too busy for us. We didnt ride race cars, play lazer tag, play VR games, or ride the water slides sooo. We do like to gamble and the Casino was poorly laid out and not impressive 😂😂. Sticking to the older ships since there is no point in paying for amenities we wont use! That price stated was very reasonable. Maybe our next trip to Alaska will be on Celebrity!!!
Rent a car & drive up Thursday the mountains to emerald lake. We have seen two bears & beautiful views. The wife & sister n law are on the skagway train right now
It's worth it! Best pictures are from the bridges that you cross. Be warned though, the observation platform is use at your own risk! The train can jolt!
I'm glad that your Alaskan cruise was great. My memories of mine are negative because it was cold and rainy. My pre-cruise days in Vancouver were great, though.
The weather must have been really nice. I noticed when you were walking on the ship Griff you had a short sleeve shirt on and Alyssa had on a sleeveless/spaghetti strap blouse. I'm a train rider and enjoyed the shots of the train excursion. Very Nice. I knew that the motion of the train would put Noa to sleep, Lol!! It does the same thing too me. Great footage. 😊
When I took the train tour, I thought some of it was terrifying too! We took train both directions and def sit on left side. Another hint is to take the afternoon tour because some of the morning tours can't see as much due to morning fog/low clouds.
Another great production! Thank you! And yes, the smaller ships tend to be a bit lean on things to do. Easy to increase your social interaction skills on the smaller ships! Thanks again! ~Smitty
Hey guys. The train left at 7:30 in the morning? Omg. I think this is the excursion Ben and David did and they absolutely loved it. Thanks for the seating tips. Baby Noa’s face is like can I get my nap. All this napkin twirling and parading around the restaurant. Great Vlog guys. Thanks for sharing.
I rode the White Pass Yukon Railway as an excursion on my NCL Alaska cruise. It was absolutely amazing. Highly recomended! I want to do another Alaska cruise again; I loved it much more than any tropical Carribean cruise. Having room service breakfast on our balcony while venturing through Glacier Bay was an experience I still relive in my dreams.
HELLO FAMILY! I love this vlog. Glad the entire family is enjoying one another with lots of sightseeing, food and fun. I just can't get enough of seeing baby Noa and that beautiful smile. Such a sweet girl! MAMA BROOKS :)
we preferred the bus that goes to Emerald Lake. You see the same scenery. In fact, you see the train, but you get a Guide, who tells you interesting facts about Alaska and what you were seeing and at the end you see the beautiful emerald Lake we also stopped to see some sled dogs. And the whole thing was cheaper than the train ride!

I agree the most adorable child I have ever saw and mine was pretty beautiful.
Really enjoying this series. Can’t wait to hear Alyssa thoughts on Celebrity.😊
Yep, they’ll wake her every time! But it’s all in fun! ❣️❣️
What are your opinions on Celebrity with a teenager in Alaska? Or should we stick with Royal?
Beautiful Alyssa, you both do awesome vlogs. Thanks for sharing.
The train was our favorite excursion on our last Alaska cruise. We're going back next summer and have already booked another train excursion!
I've definitely got to get on a Alaskan cruise. I just booked small cruise out of LA on navigator but for sure celebrity Alaskan next 😊

The train ride is right up my alley. I enjoyed your cruise, and you’re excursions that you chose to do were great. Thank you, Griffin, Alyssa

How fun! I’m taking my 75 yo mama in September. Thanks for this video.
May I ask the dates of your cruise? The weather looked amazing compared to a lot of Alaskan cruises I’ve seen.

Noa's face waking up at dinner was so relatable...she was like...what is HAPPENING and why is it happening and Dangit SHUTUP!
One of my favorite excursions except i got yelled at by the conductor when i stuck my insta360 out. we went when it was covered in snow.

We took the bus trip up and train back. Ate at same restaurant. So good
The train ride and hike to the glacier sounds great, but I wonder if there would be enough time when coming from a cruise ship?
Loved that excursion!!!
Aww, baby Noa! She's so freaking cute!
What was the dates of your Alaskan Cruise
August
