Thanks for posting this. We attempted to order a SEL Premium R-Line Atlas in Pure White a few weeks ago and were informed they ordered Oryx White (without our consent) instead because Pure White was no longer available on the SEL. Attempted to change to Platinum Gray, but have received no meaningful response. This is the first Atlas/Cross Sport I have seen in Oryx White and definitely not a fan of the pearlescent look or the paint upcharge.
It is true that they changed to the Oryx White Pearl, but you should be able to change it. This color is not my favorite on the Cross Sport, however I do like it on a Tiguan SE R-Line. I think the body lines have a little to do with it regarding this color.
Car is beautiful, just need to match the horsepower & torque to the Acura NDX-S 355/354 & I’ll buy one. Also the sides & tops of seat leather should match.
Talked to the local dealership in PHX who informed me that they do not take any selct to order on the ALTAS cross sport and many other models. No way of choosing color or featuer ... Just can buy what is in the parking lot ... I am intested in the same car as showen in this video!
I thought we were going to order a Tiguan until I drove one. It was severely underpowered and felt very tipsy. Immediately after we drove an Atlas and it felt like a tank (in a good way). The VR6 is by no means quick, but it definitely felt adequate and much more stable while turning. It reminded me in some ways of the 2011 Touareg that I had.

I just sold my 2015 Ford Expedition which IS like driving a big brick. I ordered an Atlas SEL Prem R-Line months ago and took delivery last week. After seven years in the Expy, the Atlas seems like driving a go-kart, it is nice to drive, rides well and it is quiet inside … library quiet. The 3.6 VR6 isn’t the most powerful engine but does well in the Atlas. The Atlas is no brick.
Fender needs to stay in their lane. Sound system sounds like they are trying to replicate the sound of one of their overdriven tube amplifiers from 70 years ago. Nothing sounds clear, dynamic. Hardly “premium”.

They didn’t originally come with them for 2022 but a lot of SEL trims and up in my pipeline will have VW puddle lights
They are added options on the SEL Premium R-Line and SEL/ SEL R-Line models.

Yeah I rented this same vehicle. Drives beautiful but sound system SUCKS
