At the 2nd camp site, while setting up, I love how inquisitive your daughter was, how when putting the stove together she kept placing her hands on it to help you (and to learn how to do it). It was so cute to watch you teach her and her just take in the knowledge. My kids are grown, I miss those little moments like that, they really do become the big moments that you'll cherish and miss later. You're so calm and patient with them, you're a great dad. Keep up the good work and keep teaching them.

Nice to see someone with kids that like to do outdoors stuff. Love the videos. Bacon grease on toast is the bomb and gilled cheese cooked with bacon grease is the best thing ever.

Your children are such beautiful, precious little souls. I really admire the patient way you interact with them, teaching with explanation and demonstration, then empowering them to do things with their own hands. You are a patient and loving father who provides an excellent example to others on how it can be done. Good job! And amazing location. I love the new stove, as well. I'm too old and disabled to sleep on the ground, so I purchased a flat-bottomed hammock in order to tent camp. It works well with a number of the items of equipment I now own as a result of your using them in the videos. I'm particularly enamored of the Kelly Pot and twig stoves that enable me to have several vessels cooking at once in order to feed all the troops! Last month, I had the boys dig a pit, at the bottom of which we stacked rocks, then charcoal. When the coals were nice and red, I lowered a roasting pan with a turkey in it onto the three larger rocks that held it above the coals. We covered the top of the pit with sticks, foil, and forest debris, then left it alone for 7 hours. The fragrance was insanely tantalizing. We all enjoy a full turkey dinner with all the trimmings in the woods around the campfire. Thank you so much for continuing to share your adventures, and your lovely family, with the rest of us.

Wow! That was a great video. The kids are very helpful with the camping adventure. Little J is having a great time. Glad you get the time to teach and explain everything to the kids. They grow so fast and nothing is better than spending quality time in nature as a family. Love it!

Bear with me a second. How would you entertain building treehouses on your land. Have you ever heard of Nelson Treehouse? They sell and teach the basics in treehouse building. You could join all the treehouses together and create an Ewok community with all your children and pets.
