Quick tip for the healing part, you can switch to your tank spec, go into follower dungeons and just pop a defensive while the bot healer heals you through it. (If you don't have healer friends, sadge)
@@TheArleos The quest where you have to wait 5 mins everytime for the quest item, i found a good solution, i also had bug problems with mine. Worked like a charm just to go to pandaria and que yourself into a trial, from Temple of the white tiger! in (Kun-lai Summit)It resets the cooldown eachtime, and worked without issues! i know not everyone has the bug issue but its fairly common! hope this helps others as well! i was stumped for a while least i can do is spread awareness for that quest! sorry for long reply! Just que for a trial, use your item make sure to click both extra action buttons. talk to the guy to end trial. Rinse and repeat i didn't even have to leave the instance group, just talk to him to end and start again after you use CD. Cheers!
First thank you for making this video, Blizzard is complete trash when it comes to guiding you thru thing's in their own game. I would have went made trying to just figure this out on my own, mainly the Rare farming part, I might have just gone at elites and not figured it out. 2nd I think you mention having max level professions, At the time of me doing this I crafted everything with lvl 1 dragonflight professions.
happy to hear it helped! yeah, I ended up making a LW alt aswell, its nice that you can do it with a lvl 1 DF profession (although if you have a friend with some resourcefulness gear, might be worth letting them try for a better chance at some material refunds)
I just got the Axe 8.13.2024 in Raid Finder and it makes me very angry to find out that Blizzard would turn it into a quest and require all this for a Red Axe. They could of at least given us the transmog without doing the quest. I spent months farming this Axe in Raid Finder to find out its a massive gold and time sink. Thank you for showing us everything. I'm way to casual to do all of this or spend $15 in gold on ingredients for a Red Axe that will be replaced in a 3 weeks. They turned the best weapon in the game into a way to sell more wow tokens. i got a mental disorder and don't think I can handle anymore stress from this game. Blizzard hurt my heart on this one. I pay a monthly sub to get away from these games make me feel toxic.
with the expansion coming out soon,. the material prices are hitting rock bottom- im sure you can get it done for a fraction of the price (if the transmog is worth it for you- it wont be useable for long)
Don't know what's dumber, the aquisition system for getting the axe or this questline to craft it. Ye, a tad salty for not having it yet despite 14x hc kills and a bunch of lesser from mythic runs and at the same time having people be on their second one. Gratz tho.

Talking bout 10 ppl . There is a holy pala who got it 4 weeks ago and it rots in his bag . 2 warrior alts on like the 4th kill . Here i am grinding every diff since day 1 . ridiculous Ember tycoon .
Yet there are still others that have to wait for this f***king week for it to auto drop if you have 15 kills. Now seeing this ridiculous quest line to craft it, I may not even do this stupid quest and let it rot. This legendary single handedly might make me quit this game that I have played from the beginning.@@TheArleos

I know blizzard is starting to give them to everyone now- but every one has always had some kind of quest chain/cost involved - this is actually among the cheapest one they've ever done. We've got several people in the guild feeling the same as you though - discouraged they havent gotten it yet, and then some others who jump in LFR for the first time get lucky and have it drop. 15 weeks =4-5 months before the guaranteed drop is a bit high, I think 10 would have been a more appropriate number.

it is alot to craft for sure! Thats what makes it legendary! as it gets later in the tier, there is less time you will use it, BUT it does feel cool to wield.
once you have the quest item and have begun the chain- you can complete all the other steps as quickly as your feet will carry you (It is a bit of a grind though)
During a superbloom, if you participate start to finish you will get a green, blue and purple quality bag - inside you get your tattered dreamleaf - if you have friends you can imbue/give the quest to, they can also complete a superbloom and then give you a buff that increases how much you get from each bag (instead of 3-4 per bag, I got 3 buffs and was getting 15-19 per bag) You will have to complete several superblooms to complete this part of the chain
if you were on my server cluster I could- easiest thing is to post in trade chat, anyone with the profession (even lvl 1 dragonflight inscription/Leatherworking/enchanting) can be taught the pattern (its something you cast on them).
When you get it, can it be upgraded to ilvl 500 I couldn’t find any info about that in google but I see people linking a ilvl 500 Axe in the chat all the time
496ilvl is the highest that I'm aware of (there is no "difficulty" scaling on the weapon, because it ends up being a quest item -doesnt matter if it comes from LFR, Normal, Heroic). I'll have to keep an eye out, I havent noticed one linked higher than 496 ilvl
I would recommend asking in chat, any crafters worth their salt know the huge potential of the resourcefulness procs from these - I've done quite a few for random people I see asking in trade chat.
I've done it twice now and if you have a spare profession or unleveled profession, you can grab the profession, craft the item, then repeat for the other two. It only requires DF crafting, it doesnt have to have a specific level.
@@DonChalk its true, you can learn it on a fresh DF profession- so it only costs about 100g to pick up the prof to learn it (but you dont get the benefit of the possible resourcefulness refund using someone with lvled up tools)

oh you mean the scenario? no that one is solo. Best advice in there- interupt the casts from the big adds, dont stand in the fire puddles (DK's should have the most self healing- might be worthwhile changing to a different spec if its giving you issues)
You have to complete the quest (and all steps) on each character who receives it. (the axe drop itself is the quest chain- no skipping steps unfortunately :( )
Huge time sink too. I spent like 11 hours doing emerald frenzies and superblooms. I didn’t have friends online to help until the evening which finally sped up the superbloom process but you get no benefits from the first superbloom you do with them because they have to complete the quest first.. then all the 5 minute cd items you have to use 10-20 times.. I got lucky and had like 8 trinkets from season 2 still in my bags so I got most of my ashes from those.. then the wowhead guide doesn’t tell you about the materials needed after the crafts.. I got it towards the end of the season and already have a myth track weapon so it’s not even going to be a huge upgrade for me
@@TheArleos I’m a blood Dk tank. So my damage in keys is usually around 100k overall. Not the 2-300k overall that ret pallys and warriors are getting. 7% means much less to me. Don’t get me wrong, I’m still going to use it but I would’ve much preferred getting it earlier in the season when it was a bigger ilvl bump.

To add to the question below. I asked another person with this vid subject up. He completed at 485. I am doing this on a 460 Ret.
i think im about 483 here- doing it as holy was probably not the way to go, would have been easier to complete the scenario as Ret.

the proc should add a good 7-10% to your damage. Hopefully there is enough time left in the season for you to get some enjoyment from it :)
